Ooc;;
Yet again I am here apologizing.
My mother has gotten worse from her surgery, and I've been spending a lot of time in the hospital so I've only had time for little choppy posts.
I'll post by the end of today, I swear it.

• [sub]Ic: Deciding against questioning the new, compliant attitude coming from Lucy, Druain simply gave s nod. Only half acknowledging her response. The male knew he'd need to keep a extremely close eye on her for quite a while, as she was practically a stranger after all. But it was no matter, is she was as willing as now he could question her on everything he needed to know. As they enetered, Druain noticed the sun was just about set, and needed to get a move on. He sped up his pace. Still saying nothing, he led Lucy down a slightly tucked away hallway to a set of widely opened doors, towering above the two. Lit by fire, and guarded by some intimidating looking guards. They seemed much more professional and skilled than the chitari transport guards which had been previously accompanying the young Laufeyson. They weren't even chitari. Druain leaned over to Lucy. "Stay here for a second, do not move and do not run. You have no chance of escape without me or knowledge of the palace, and I don't need you dead on short terms." The words were but a chilled whisper, and he gave Lucy a rather rough, but commanding pat on the shoulder. Approaching the guards with ease, Druain uttered but a few words and the soldiers gave a sharp salute, and stepped aside. Gesturing to his new prodigy to come along, Druain started off again, expecting her to follow.

Ooc:

• Ooc: Thank you for replying, and I understand. If replying is too hard with everything that is going on in your life then that's ok. Just wanted to see how everything was going. Apparently it's not going too well which is terrible, I shall continue to pray for your mother

Ic: When Druain quickened his pace, Lucy's did as well. Her strides appeared strong, like how one would walk when having an important goal or purpose set in mind. However her mind was far from goal achieving and accomplishing. She merily seeked medical attention and few minutes to herself. Some alone time.
Lucy noted the time of day, realizing this was the prince was in such a hurry. She followed easily, taking in her surroundings as subtly as she could, but she would study everything in all due time. When they reached the hallway and were greeted by two slightly larger guards, she couldn't say she was surprised. Lucy knew that Chitari were normally the main warrriors, but they weren't incredibly difficult to take out. So that meant all the better guards were left at home to protect the palace. Interesting....but it made sense in hindsight.
She listened to his every word closely. Something about the way he spoke just intriged her. She knew the threat in his words was clearly suppose to at least keep her on edge, but she was in no way. Nothing of the sorts.
Perhaps she had been listening a little too close for she nearly jumped when he touched her. It was just a pat on the shoulder, calm yourself she scoulded herself. Lucy collected herself as he whispered to the guards. Her hearing was strong, and he must have taken that into account for his voice sounded almost like background noise. It reminded her of the wind.
When they were moving again, Lucy only gave each guard a wary stare before she moved swiftly through the doors and met Druain's pace. She excepted to see more of them soon.

• [sub]Ic: In the large room was open windows, made of glittering glass, and the gold-tinted floor waxed to a honorable glow. Tapestries featuring kings and warlords, heroes and villains alike told a story through pictures. The entire section was to awe, and a few turned to stare at Druain and Lucy as they entered. A girl with honey-blonde hair dared approach and Druain slowed a bit. The girl appeared to be a young teen, perhaps fourteen or fifteen at the very least, and she had a slim face,((and was rather willowy overall)) accompanied by wavering amber eyes. "Your highness if I may-" The girl started, but was interrupted. Druain's words could be compared to a blade, slicing cleanly; and stopping the teen. "If you may what?" If you listened closely you could hear the air hiss out of her lungs, and she shrunk a little. "-May be of assistance to you, sir." Druain scowled deeply, and he knit his brows in a light frustration. "Granted. Help this girl heal; and make this quick. I need her to a spare chamber by sundown, I need to speak with my father and I will not have disobedience." The girl literally wheezed. "But sir I-" Druain shot her a single glare and she was silenced. "Yes, your highness."

Ooc: It's perfectly fine. I can manage, self discipline is the way to success, and if I'm looking towards a career in psychology, writing needs to be my stronghold. She's doing better; given. But I thank you for that.

• Ooc: Oh no problem and that's great you have a career set out. If you need just a break from rping, ever, just say so.

Ic: Lucy had had only a moment to appreciate the decor and overall look of the room before her attention was diverted to a young teenage girl. The poor thing looked absolutely terrified, it must have taken guts to approach the two. As she watched the exchange her eyes only narrowed in distaste. Funny, she had practically ignored the fact that he was a Laufeyson until now. It was rudely brought to her attention while before it had been only in the back of her mind.
Lucy waited until the girl guided her to where they were going and when Druain was out of earshot to actually start talking to the girl. Despite her conversing flaws, Lucy knew for a fact that talking often eased people. This girl looked as if she might pass out from fear. "Hey, I'm Lucy by the way," she began. Friendlyness was always a good way to start. "Listen, if it's too much to handle, I can do myself. Just hand me a thread, needle, and some bandages and I can go back to my room." she offered. She knew it would be a bloody mess, but she was used to fixing her own wounds so it wouldn't be any trouble. If it'd make this girl any less scared then she would fix them herself.

• [sub]Ic: The girl eased a tad as Druain left, but stiffened when Lucy had begun to spoke. Eyes glued to the floor, she still managed to give a nod of acknowledgement. "A pleasure meeting you." The blonde had looked up when Lucy spoke again, and an obvious glimmer of amusement shone through her amber oculars. "Thread and needle is for sewing, miss." Signaling for Lucy to hold still, she gave a careful nod and knelt on one knee to study Lucy's wound. Fingertips brushed a faint glowing gold, she went to heal; but stopped. "This may burn a teeny bit." The young teen pressed her hand's gently onto Lucy's wound and had begun to heal it. After approximately thirty or so seconds she stopped, and stood up again. "You should be alright. But rest well tonight, Lucy. I will show you to your quarters." The girl started off, expecting Lucy to follow her.

Ooc:

• Lucy had not even felt the supposed "burning" sensation. She was too busy at the moment studying what use to be her wound. There was not even a mark on her, no scar, no blood, nothing. It was as if her wound had ceased to exsist. She knew that the simple notion of that was impossible, but it was rather impressive.
Scars were things that everyone carried in this day in age, whether or not said person showed their saves was completely up to them. Lucy did not carry her scars in shame nor did she carry them with pride. She simply took into account the battle marks were there and that she'd have to improve on her mistakes. Which normaly meant she had to either dodge faster or punch harder, one of the two.
At that moment Lucy realized exactly where she was. She was in Asgard, home of gods and magic. Most of these people could do unexplainable things. One of them was apparently healing. Fascinating she thought to herself.
She had been so absorbed in her own thoughts that she hadn't noticed the girl motioning her to follow. When she mentioned rest, it was only then did Lucy really how exhausted she was. The young woman had been running on maybe 3 days without sleep? She could never tell for sure because she was always busy. The idea of having her own room -chambers- out her more at ease. She valued her solitude, and if there was one thing she could keep in this peculiar world, it would be that. With her injuries healed, she was able to walk comfortably fast without having the ere that her ribs might rip out of her chest. What? Better safe than sorry? Conversation, she felt, was no longer a necessity at the mont she she quietly followed the girl.

Ooc: Sorry, low muse until now.

• [sub]Ic: The young teen had only left when she realized the sun was practically set. It hadn't been that long, had it? Her pace quickened. Glancing over her shoulder, the female swallowed a little too hard for comfort. "Miss Lucy, if I may intrude. Where exactly did you say you were from?" The girl hastily added a, "I am only asking out of a polite interest." The blonde could be easily compared to a mouse; skittish, wide eyed, and small. Amber eyes wavering with nervousness out of the time, and out of Druain's orders. Not to mention the chitari guard patrolling the palace were everything but friendly after dark. The girl took a turn down a hallway, tucked away slightly but not hard to find, and led Lucy to a set of doors. Gold, commonly sized, and practically indistinguishable from the rest of the palace, they almost seemed to have a glowing valor. The blonde teen took a few steps forward, and pulled open one of the doors. Unlike the ever apparent gold, the room had the same elegant glow to it, but had a different colour scheme. It couldn't really be compared to any of Earth's, as the whites and creams made the room quite neat.

Ooc: I'm sorry half of this is just describing Lucy's quarters. My muse has also been a little down, ((this doesn't exclude the fact Asgard is absolutely gorgeous)) and my love of interor decorating has probably over exceeded itself.

• Lucy had been in the motion of replying when she stopped. The room they walked into was gorgeous! It was extravagantly designed, whoever had created it had taste. She knew that she was in a palace, but even this seemed too much. It was just a normal bedroom right? She wondered what the upper class roomes looked like if this was her room.
She realized that the teen was awaiting a reply. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not used to such beautifully decorated rooms I couldn't help but lose my train of thought." she rubbed her head to try to remember. "Ah! Ok, you asked where I was from? I am from Ear- Midgard! Midgard, yes, that's why you people call it." she rubbed the back of her head and gave a sheepish smile. Then she realized something crucial. The poor teen in front of her probably was confused, for she had two wolf ears on the top of her head and a tail that was wrapped around her waist. These two abnormalities seemed unnoticeable to her, but she assumed people thought them strange. "I'm a...a mutant. That's why I have these," she pointed to her ears, "And these," she pointed to her tail.

• [sub]Ic: The blonde seemingly gushed at Lucy's response, she knew her home was beautiful, and was happy to impress the human, lower ranking or not. However, she knew from the start this girl had been important, the young prince had been parading her around perhaps a bit too openly. Lucy was a prize, something special Druain was willing to show off. If he had really wanted her concealed, there were numerous other ways to get her inside excluding the palace doors. Loki had never approved of humans, but it seemed to be he loved his son dearly, and would more or less likely forgive him. The young teen had not heard the return of the chitari export guard, and certainly not any human servants. Maybe this Lucy human was something special. Blinking her amber eyes, her golden lashes catching the light of a flame burning and casted shadows on her face. It hid her expression a bit, but it could be seen her face held the expression of polite interest; youth ever apparent. Lucy's reaction was a bit puzzling, as she had seemed so quiet not too long for. Perhaps that was the reason why Druain held such an interest in her; the young Laufeyson always loved a good puzzle. To be honest, the girl realized she had not really noticed the ears and the tail on the girl, as she was accustomed to just about everything dragged from the dark corners of the universe. "That gives me more insight, and I thank you Miss Lucy." The girl stepped aside for Lucy, and looked up at her. "By tomorrow morning come, you will have traditional Asgardian wear. You may wake when you please and dine when you please, but you are expected to meet with Druain by sundown. I may be around to help you, but if not a servant will be." The teen's words were quick, but annunciated with an Asgardian accent, and certainly weren't made up on the spot. This was rehearsed, but seemed something she was excited for. It could be taken up that this was the first time she was able to say these words to a guest, and pride was very much eminent. "Sleep well Lucy, I bid you good night."

Ooc:

• Lucy took everything she had just heard into account. Interesting how there was no exact schedule, only that she must meet Druain at sundown. She would have expected some sort of military feel to the place. With strict rules and barely and free time. However this seemed not to be the case which puzzled her greatly. She mentally shrugged her shoulder, this was a puzzle worth solving later.
One thing she was most certainly greatful for was clothing. Although it could take her a slight while to get used to, Lucy didn't think it was courteous to be wearing dirt lined clothes with blood here and there. In order for these people to....accept your presence you must adapt to their ways she thought because truthfully she didn't care what others thought of her appearance. In war, there was no reason to worry about such a trivial matter.
At the young girls polite dismissal, Lucy nodded her head and said "Thank you ma'am, I hope that you do the same".
As soon as the young girl left, she turned back towards the the decor. It was really quite a sight, something she had never seen on Midgard. She was the stereotypical "lives under a bridge" type of person. Most people on Midgard loved in such conditions. As she walked around, her stomach made a sort of growling sound. She made a harsh shhing sound at it. Funny, she must have forgot to try and find food. Again.... And now her stomach had woken up. Probably from that girl healing her wound.
Lucy made her way over to a large window with a place to sit underneath. She climbed up and sat, looking out. The palace was as gorgeous at it was in daylight. As she watched the lights reflect of the rainbow, the gold twinkling from different light cast on it, she began to hum.
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
They strung up a man, they say who murdered three
Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be
As we met at midnight in the hanging tree
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where a dead man cried out, for his love to flee
Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be
As we met, at midnight in the hanging tree
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run, so we'd both be free
Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be
As we met, at midnight in the hanging tree
Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Wear necklace of hope, side by side with me
Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be
As we met, at midnight in the hanging tree

Lucy hadn't even realized she had been singing out loud until the song ended. Her eyes were a cloudy green color, her mind wasn't currently in Asgard. In Midgard she had found this song written in Latin on a wall, when she had saved a family. The family said that they had no idea what it said, but she had. She knew some Latin, and the rest of the song came to her as she read the first stanza. Lucy had no idea how she knew the song, but she had a general idea it was from her past. As she stared at the window and repeated the song, her now cloudy green eyes drifting to sleep.

Ooc: Sorry I went to see the hunger games so it gave me inspiration for the rp

• Ic;;

Ooc;;
Love the Hunger Games ! How was the movie btw?
Are you planning on Lucy to go to sleep and dream about something, or have like a timeskip to the next morning??

• Ooc: freaking beast, they left off on such a cliff hanger for Mockingjay part 1. I saw it yesterday when it came out
I didn't plan on it, more or less just wake up from a nightmare and scare the heck at whoever comes in to wake her xD.

• Ic;;

Ooc;;
Read the books?
Would you rather the little blonde handmaiden((I haven't found a good Norse name for her because I'm lame)) or Druain to come and wake her??

• Ooc: I haven't, but now I'm going to x3
It'll probably be more interesting if Druain goes to wake her. Everyone will be even more suspicious because he's going to wake someone up which never happens because he's the prince plus it'll be like Katniss when she has a nightmare and Peeta goes to wake her up so ya know xD. Whatever you want to do, I feel as if the little girl will become friends with Lucy (whenever you think of a name) eventually, so it's up to you.

• Ic;;

Ooc;;
If you like Peeta and Katniss 'together', you'll love the series and it's entirety. uwu
Okie dokie then eue ! Any specific requirements for my next post??

• [sub]Ic: Druain walked down the halls of the palace, night now apparent, moon hanging high and clear. His head was held high, and his expression was vacant, but still rather cold. Steps quiet and condescending, his hands were neatly clasped behind his back, and he walked with a bit of stiffness. The meeting with his father had not gone as pleasantly as expected, and for the first time in his life he was slightly annoyed with his father's choice of words. Usually he took constructive criticism from his father highly, and with respect, but he felt...anxious. Druain shook his head slightly, and pushed the feeling, and the thought away. Father was right. Father was always right. Pride returned quickly; and he sped up his pace, cape draped elegantly behind him. The guards gave salute as he passed down numerous hallways, and time seemed to tick slower and slower. The tall male knew he needed sleep, but continued to press on. After for what seemed hours, he could feel his eyelids becoming heavy with boredom and slight fatigue. Today had been long, Druain realized, but he felt he hadn't fought enough, and felt disappointed. It would pass soon enough, he thought and continued on his way thinking about practically everything he could to get his mind off sleep.

Ooc: It doesn't appear to be working?? Tried uploading it to tinypic?

• Ooc: Dang it, the picture was working. I'll try again when I'm on the computer. I couldn't let my dad scan it because he'd think there was something wrong with me xD
Ic: Lucy hadn't expected to fall asleep so quickly and easily. Normally she would stay up for days on end. It seemed that her body refused to keep functioning without just a little bit of rest. On the outside she peaceful, but in her head her dreams were anything but.
Her whole body was on fire. There was no longer one specific place where the pain was located, now it had spread. It even hurt to keep her eyes open, but she had to know what they were doing. She was strapped to a table, her legs, arms, chest, head, everything. It wasn't necessary, she couldn't escape now even if she wanted to. She couldn't kick and fight back now neither. The sound of the door opened behind her and her whole body tensed. "The transformation is almost complete. Soon you'll be a hero!"
A hero? He was a liar, a hero would never feel this kind of pain. This agony.
"Ok now hold still." and the man injected something into her chest. What she had called pain before, she had been so wrong. She felt like her skin was ripping off of her muscles and bones. She tried to stay silent, but it hurt.

Lucy woke up screaming, not recognizing where she was. It was dark and her eyes were a fiery green, wide with terror. True fear. Her entire body stiffended so much that she fell off of her perch by the window. Landing ungracefully her body made a large thump noise as she hit the floor. She hadn't noticed because she had just stopped screaming. Just a dream, calm down she told herself. It had felt so real. She was sweating and still shaking.
This was one of the main reasons as to why Lucy never slept. Not only did she simply have zero time for it, but she would wake up with these strange night terrors. Logically thinking, this dreams were only memories of her past. However she had no recollection of these dreams actually happening. Her minding had repressed the thoughts for the must have been extremely painful. This was a only logical excuse to pure fear. Lucy though, never felt fear easily.

• [sub]Ic: The young prince had been lost in thought, steps in the hallway coming to a halt as he heard quite the ruckus. While he hadn't jumped, he was certainly more alert, eyes a tid bit wider than before. Heaving a quiet sigh, Druain peered not far down the winding hallway to a little doorway. Making sure he had indeed heard the screaming; he reached for his weapon, fingertips dusted a pale, icy blue. The dark-haired male had his blade and his magic, ready and prepared he approached the door. Taking a deep breath, he forced open the door with his shoulder and icy sparks sprouted from his fingertips, illuminating the dark. When he saw; and recognized the girl on the floor, he took a step back and let out the air in his lungs in a partial agitated and surprised sigh. "What is the matter?" Druain's voice was an awkward mix of surprise, agitation, and exhaustion were all frustratingly apparent in his voice. Swallowing hard, and hardening his expression, he awaited an answer from Lucy, whom was lying on the floor. While he would have offered to help her up, surprise and agitation were much too present for him to be much concerned about anything.

Ooc: Oh wow that's really good ! Really liked Mockingjay huh??
