Journalnotes sat on a rock lazily, her journal opened in front of her. It felt too empty. It needed more, and more, and more. An idea followed by a smile appeared to her. Why not ask some of the members about stuff heard through the grapevine, or just random stuff. She rolled over with a quiet grunt, but the smile remained on her maw.

Target one, Mosaicstar. she smiled and glanced around. Where was that fabulous gray tabby at?

  • Quietly approaching the lilac-and-white female was the dark-furred warrior, whose head was tipped slightly upwards, his sightless yellow eyes still in their sockets. He had little need to move them, after all. Shadowpuppets wasn't doing much that day, merely walking, but as he scented the journalist he paused, and took a deep breath, allowing her odor to flow over his scent glands. He gave a small chuff of surprise, realizing that he was standing just behind her. "Oh!"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px][justify][size=9pt][font=georgia]Gilbert knew a few things about Mosaicstar - he should considering his upgrade from Companion to Friend - very high praise coming from Mosaicstar and he was definitely proud of it. Gilbert was uncertain about reporters however.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 15px; font-family: Georgia; text-align: justify; width: 450px; text-transform: lowercase]the lilac point turned over her shoulder and smiled. "hey there shadowpuppets," her ear flicked slightly. The pen up there threatened to fall over, but didn't. Her pale green gaze jerked to Herbert, or so she thought his name was. "[color=Palegreen]herbert, is it?" she smiled at him as well, blissfully unaware of her mistake.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px][justify][size=9pt][font=georgia]"It's Gilbert actually," he corrected, unfazed. Adding with a smirk, "But you can call me whatever you want to, babe." He paused, still smirking, "And what's your name?"

The deputy curiously strolled over to Journalnotes, and offered her a small smile as she walked up to her. Gilbert on the other hand, she was not so kind to. She flicked her tail and rolled her eyes as she picked up his voice calling someone else "babe." Ugh, how gross.

The silver femme padded over, glowing blue gaze regarding the others in an almost bored manner. Sitting by Gilbert, she dipped her head to the group, not saying a word for now, as was often her style. She usually chose not to speak unless it would be considered impolite not to, that being including when she was spoken to. Besides, when you could just nod in greeting, why bother with such simple and boring pleasantries such as 'hello'? Glancing at the others, she noted her friend, adoptive daughter, new Clanmate, and another that she didn't know. Mm, she'd introduce herself to Shadowpuppets later. It was more awkward in group situations, though she found them easier than one-on-ones in most respects.

    It took you by surprise..

[hr][hr][font=georgia]The Canadian had caught Gilbert's name mispronounced, and a small smiled played onto his lips. Oh damn, was this how he was relayed for calling Matthew the name 'Alfred?' Hm, his day got a million times better. Sitting by himself, the paladin turned to Mosiacstar.

Arching a non-existent eyebrow, the leader settled into a more comfortable position, figuring this could take a while, depending on what Journalnotes was wanting to know. Shrugging, she murmured, "Yeah, sure, why not." She just hoped they weren't too personal or everyone around would get overwhelmed by a sea of sadness and painful memories.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 15px; font-family: Georgia; text-align: justify; width: 450px; text-transform: lowercase]
oh? No personal questions it seemed. Darn. She had a good one in mind too. Oh well, plan b. "[color=palegreen]opinion on rape litters?
" about every clan had them, but she wanted to know how she felt about the topic per say. Journalnotes didn't like it, but It couldn't be helped.

  • [justify]
Eh, though she wasn't keen on personal matters, she would answer the questions if Journalnotes really wanted. Nah, feel free to ask personal stuff if she really wanted to. Ear twitching, a scowl formed on the leader's lips at the first question. "I hate 'em. They're stupid and they fuck up lives. Then again, am I to be considered biased if my only litter was a result of it?" Gaze remaining fairly blank as she spoke, though her voice was rather cold as she spoke of the cursed thing. After having her litter so early in life because of it, her mate had left her and she'd been too distraught and irresponsible to care for her kits. She'd never gotten to know any of them and they were all long, long dead.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 15px; font-family: Georgia; text-align: justify; width: 450px; text-transform: lowercase]jojo shuddered. Damn, she had a way with words, huh? The lilac point mentally noted it down. Maisie had a been a victim "[color=Palegreen]no, it's not biased at all," she nodded slowly before speaking up again. "[color=palegreen]... if there was one thing you could change during the course of your life, what would it be?" she knew Mosiacstar had led a pretty rough life before with many faults, so this seemed like a good question to her.

The spotted cheetah had made his way forth, his gold eyes trained of Mosaicstar as he awaited her answer. He mentally answered the question himself. All of it. My entire existance.

Damn, she would change most of it. Thinking back, she tried to find the source of her issues, the worst part, the bit that started it all. Oh. Yes, she knew what she would change now. A certain incident a long while back, involving catnip and awkwardness. That led to jealousy and selfishness, pain and suffering, loss and nights spent crying. It all led back to that incident, didn't it? A silver tabby and a Russian blue. Yes, she knew what she would change. Observing the journalist quietly, she finally responded, "I would stop my parents from indulging in catnip, resulting in my birth. Or, in other words, I would never have been born." That would make life a whole lot easier for a damn lot of people, especially in the past. Plus, then she wouldn't be the walking mistake she was now.

journalnotes exhaled sharply, her body stiff. with her gaze on her and her answer, the lilac point felt so interested but intimidated at the same kind. how many people did the leader hurt with her exsistance? with a slight nod, the femme scribbled something down. "i see.." there wasn't a way for the journalist to convince her her existance mattered. after all, she hardly knew her. "[color=palegreen]as the leader of blizzardclan, would you consider adding a spy position perhaps?
" journalnotes hoped to at least lighten the mood slightly, and she wuld love to be in a position like thatt.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; overflow: auto; height: 275px; width: 300px; font-size: 11px; color: grey; text-align: justify;]September knew next to nothing about the grey tabby apart from the fact that she hated him and was very conflicted over her deceased mate's secret affair. But being her deceased mate's affair child, he supposed he couldn't blame her. So maybe he could learn a thing or two from Journalnotes's interview. Seating himself a distance away, as not to interfere, he listened to the fire of questions and answers.

Listening, she quite easily acted as though she hadn't just said that she wished she'd never been born. There was no reason to act like it was a big deal for her, after all. Anyway, she responded lightly, "If I need spies, I send in my most trusted Clanmates. A position would be interesting, but too exclusive and too risky for others to know about." Spies should be kept secret for their own safety. If all the Clan knew who they were, they could spill to the other Clans and those spies could be eliminated on their next mission. She didn't like to risk her Clanmates' lives for anything.
