    "I can't hold it to you, but I really hope you're telling me the truth right now." Kai sighed as he spoke, knowing fully well that Jace probably wouldn't remember anything that went on. He pulled the jeans off finally and pulled his boxers off with it. "All right, into the shower you go..." He said softly, putting another arm around Jace's waist to help lead him over. He checked if the temperature was ok- Which it was- Before fully opening the shower door for Jace.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub][font=georgia]Jace managed to step in without falling. Now hopefully he could actually stand up without tumbling down into the floor or the door. "Thank you.. baby..", he murmured giving an odd look before he closed the door. The water actually made him feel better, a lot. It cleared his made a bit but the headache was still bad and still throbbed in his temples. "Stay...", he added quickly, squinting through the glass that shielded the water from getting out.

    Kai nodded his head and stood right outside the door. "Make sure you don't fall, if you do start to, just sit on the edge of the counter." He bit his lip as he waited, nervously that Jace might get hurt. But it's not like I can just climb in there with him. He thought.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub][font=georgia]Jace looked at him for a moment before grading the silver bar on the side. It was made to hold the washcloths, but it made for a nice grip. "Okay...", he said looked up so that the water soaked his face. He needed to clean everything, but he felt that if he let go of the side, he would fall. Ah well. With his free hand, he started to dump shampoo onto his hair. Once there, he did his best at scrubbing and lathering it up before he let the water wash it away.

    Jace kept blinking as hard as he could. It wasn't because water was in his eyes, it was mainly to try and stop the room from rotating around. "Damn...", he breathed irritablly, looking back into the mirror. He looked like complete shit, even after the shower. Giving a shaky sigh, Jace reached down and began pulling the mornings previous pajama pants back on over his boxers. He didn't believe in sleeping in shirts. He pulled the door open and instantly cleared his throat. "K-kai...", he called loudly, stumbling on his words. There room was at the complete opposite room of the house and he couldn't make in one piece by himself.

    Kai had gone back to reading, but looked up when he saw Jace. He bookmarked it once again and stopped up to rush to Jace's side. "Here, I'll help you to bed. I was just about to go too." Kai tried to snake both arms around Jace so that he could steady his boyfriend a little easier while he walked towards their room. "You doing ok, babe?" He asked gently.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]"Mhm... " Jace leaned into while he walked and let out a sigh. In reality, he probably looked like a drunken, wobbly sob. But on the inside, in his mind, he was perfectly sober and capable of comprehending things. And right now, he was silently wishing that he could reach out and pull Kai into a huge hug and apologize for everything he had ever done to him. But what good would that do? He would probably go right back to hitting him again anyways.

    "That's good. Tell me if you need anything, all right?" I wish I could say I hated this, but I'm loving it. I'm so close to him, and on top of that he's being sweet to me..! Kai thought as he opened the door to their bedroom. "It'll probably help you if you at least brush your teeth a little. That way the taste won't come back and make you feel any worse, all right?" Kai made sure to be especially gentle towards his intoxicated boyfriend.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Jace gave a dramatic groan. "Now I have to go all the way back to the bathroom.. Will you help me...?" Words no longer as slurred, Jace kept a gentle hold on Kai's arm so he didn't sit or collapse on the bed. The mention of removing the alcohol taste from his mouth was to much to resist, even for him.

    "I'll just go get you a toothbrush and toothpaste and a glass of water." Kai answered. "Lay down, lay down, don't push yourself baby." He tried to coax Jace into laying down by using sweet words and by leading him towards the bed. Oh God, the headache he's gonna have...!

    Kai smiled a little when Jace just let himself flop onto the bed. He went back to their shared bathroom and got toothpaste and a toothbrush- Plus a glass of water and a glass to spit into. Once he was back in their room, he held them towards Jace and softly said, "Baby... Sit up, I got it for you..."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Jace sat up once again and leaned into Kia for support. He took the brush and tried squirting some toothpaste onto the brush. He nearly missed and let it fall on his leg. Manage no that, he brought the brush into his mouth and began brushing. He instantly sighed a little as the alcohol taste began to fizzle out.

    Kai smiled and wiped the toothpaste off of his leg. "All right, then you can spit in this empty glass and drinks this glass of water." He held each glass up as he spoke about them. "But not too much. You're probably thirsty since you threw up, but I don't want you to throw up again."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Doing as he was told, Jace gathered all the paste in his mouth and spit it into the first cup. Taking the second, he took a long drink, swirled it in his mouth then spit it into the first cup as well. Now, he went back to the second, took another swig, only this time, he swallowed. A soft sigh escaped his lips and he looked at Kia with a slight smile.

    Kai smiled back and went to go wash the cup that was not full of water. He left the water beside Jace, and then came back. "Better, right?" Kai didn't quite get into bed yet- He wanted to wait first and see if there was anything else Jace wanted. "Are you ok now? Do you want anything else, anything at all?"
