  • sure!

A purr escaped the chocolate she-cat's muzzle as she entered camp with the evening hunting patrol. Briarstar's old apprentice, Cloudstripe, padded quickly after her, followed by Mudpaw, Littlespring, Crowlight, and Pikefur. All six cats had two pieces of prey each and dropped their catches on the prey pile. It seemed that the prey was so plentiful that Thunderclan would have more than enough to eat. Yowls of approval were shot towards the group before Briarstar broke away and appeared next to Stormgaze, her white-pelted deputy. The gray-tailed tom had already pulled together the members going to the Gathering. "Good job, Stormgaze. Let's go!" The leader felt pride pulse in her paws as she pushed out of camp, headed for the lake.

It wasn't long before the forest cats approached the island - Briarstar balanced easily on the fallen tree, crossing to the land. Pausing, the fishy scent of Riverclan entered her nostrils. They were almost always first as they lived closest to the island.

  • [font=georgia]ooc;^^

ic;Southwhisker watched intently as his leader,(um...let's go with: )Longstar, called together the chosen cats for the Gathering. The golden tabby's muzzle was buried in marigold, but his left ear was angled casually at the black-tailed leader.Lifting his head,he and his apprentice,Sunsetpaw, bounded towards the waiting group of cats."Shadowclan, let's go!"Longstar's yellow gaze scanned his cats with pride, and off they went.Southwhisker and Sunsetpaw ere trapped in the middle, but when Shadowclan emerged on the island near Riverclan,Southwhisker spotted his russet-furred apprentice's eyes stretch like huge moons.

Southwhisker easily scented Thunderclan and Riverclan, and arched his back to see Briarstar. Why? The tabby shook his head, but still couldn't resist searching for the she-cat's small frame.[font]

  • The pine scent of Shadowclan drifted into the clearing. Briarstar found herself subconciously searching for a golden tabby tom... Happy for the few minutes of time before the leaders' announcements, the tiny spotted feline weaved past her clanmates, pausing to dip her head towards Longstar. Southwhisker's frame finally caught the leader's clear cerulean eye. Heat flamed in her cheeks as she fluidly slipped over, reclining on her haunches. Briarstar flicked her tail over his flank in greeting, refusing to make eye contact. "Greetings, S-Southwhisker," the petite leader stammered quietly.

  • ooc;aww!she's shy! ^^

ic;The golden striped medicine cat felt a tail touch his flank briefly, and his ears swiveled in the direction of the feminine voice that spoke to him.He turned his head slightly, aware that he towered over the Thunderclan leader.Southwhisker resisted a soft purr, and dipped his head automatically as the chocolate brown-and-white she-cat came into his view."Sunsetpaw, why don't you mingle with the other apprentices?I'm sure Barkpaw would love to speak with you about the recent clump of marigold you found the other day."Southwhisker waited until his energetic apprentice agreed and darted into the mass of warriors.

His attention landed carefully on Briarstar, and the tabby smiled at her,his heart beating as fast as a horse would run."It's good to see you again,Briarstar."He meowed respectfully.

  • yup ^^ your roleplaying is bootiful <3

Briarstar was momentarily distracted by the deep russet pelt of Sunsetpaw bounding into the crowd until she couldn't be spotted. Turning her clear gaze to Southwhisker, the young Thunderclan leader stammered out an answer. "Y-yes. No, I m-mean good?" Inwardly sighing, Briarstar sank her claws into the soft grass in frustuation. Something overtook the she-cat as she lightly pressed her muzzle into the golden tom's neck fur. Leaning back, shock filled Briarstar's features. "S-Southwhisker...I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't..."

  • ooc;*wink wink* go for it Briarstar and Southwhisker!make tensions rise among the clans!mwhahahaha!

ic;The golden tabby's fur rose with something he couldn't put his paw onto it(I almost typed in FINGER!),but he shivered after the she-cat's warmth disappeared from his pelt."Oh...um...yes...No...I-It's okay!Probably?"Fierce heat wrapped his body in its shawls, and Southwhisker purred uncomfortably, but inside,he was smiling like he had tasted his first mouse. He was about to say something else when Longstar called together the clan leaders for their reports. The crowd of cats shifted, and Southwhisker could feel himself being pulled by the tail.Wincing, the tabby swiftly ducked his head to murmurin Briatstar's small ears."Meet me after the Gathering at the border! Please!"And with that,he disappeared into the mass of felines.

  • Briarstar nearly shook with joy at the medicine cat's gentle words murmured into a rounded ear. The tiny leader fluidly padded over and leaped up onto the thick and strong branch when Longstar started with his announcements. But still, the voice of Southwhisker rang strongly in her head as if it had been mere seconds ago. Meet me at the border....

It seemed as if he maybe felt the same way she did - blushing and stammering, tenderly touching for no reason at all. A small scowl formed on Briarstar's muzzle. She was annoyed that the golden tabby made her heart race, cheeks flame, stutter like a fool. Nevertheless, Southwhisker was....marvelous.

    lol yeah!

The post was edited 1 time, last by WOODENS! ().

  • "Briarstar!"Longstar hissed impatiently, his cold gaze turned upon her,as if pondeirng why she looked so dazed and dreamy.Southwhisker, who was watching below with the other medicine cats, glanced up at Briarstar--his eyes giving away his affection and admiration for the delicate she-cat.Sunsetpaw,who was sitting beside her friend Barkpaw, scampered up to her golden-furred mentor, frowning.

"Southwhisker...Briarstar seems so thoughtful.I wonder what's she thinking about."The lithe tabby hissed into his ear.Southwhisker jumped at the sound of her loud whisper, and growled lowly, before coughing and nodding briefly,"Um...you are so observant!Of course, that's why I allowed you to become my apprentice. Now go,and sit beside your friend."The young medicine cat squirmed uncomfortably, sighing in relief as SUnsetpaw escaped back to her friend.

  • As Longstar hissed sharply in her direction, Briarstar snapped quickly out of her reverie and shot a glare at the black leader, smoothly padding past Brightstar, the pretty calico leader of Windclan. The slender she-cat was easily much shorter than her fellow leaders, but it didn't stop her from confidently puffing out her chest. "Thunderclan has more than enough prey for this late of greenleaf. Snowleaf is expecting kits, as well as Mossfur!" Purrs of approval sounded from down below, murmurs of congrats from all clans. "Cloudpaw is now Cloudstripe," Briarstar called out proudly, searching for her white-striped old apprentice. Her blue gaze laned on a specificaffly glowing on Cloudstripe and Southwhisker.

  • Southwhisker cheered along with the other warriors and apprentices, but a few cats from Shadowclan seemed to dislike Thunderclan. The golden-striped tabby waved his tail anxiously as a few lean heads turned in his direction, glowering at him like: Don't cheer, stupid! They're rivals! The medicine cat half-shrugged,because it was a truce, right?Lifting his head,he continued cheering for Cloudstripe like the other, less hostile clans."Cloudstripe,Cloustripe!"

(Wanna just pretend Riverclan&Windclan already did their announcements so we can get to the INTERESTING part? *wiggles eyebrows*)

  • ( sure! -giggles evilly- so timeskip to them back in their clans? if not, ignore this post )

Pawing anxiously at her moss nest, the lithe fem peeked out of her rocky den to check on the camp entrance. Briarstar watched Darkpelt sleepily yawn, padding slowly towards the warriors den to wake up the next cat on guard. Bounding silently down from the slope of her den, the leader squeezed out of camp just as Stormgaze padded out to guard. Pushing through the undergrowth, Briarstar breathed in the cool night air with a soft purr. The tiny figure entered the clearing and crossed it in a few bounds. Pausing at the foot of the huge boulder, Briarstar crouched and leapt, hauling herself up onto a slab with alabaster paws. Settling down, a shaft of moonlight bathed the fem as she started to groom her ruffled chocolate pelt. This was so wrong....but it felt so right!

  • (Oh no,I am awaiting the terrible part where the pair begin their trouble among the clans and start a WAR!!!!MWHAHAHAHAHA!)

ic;Southwhisker's pale, yet gentle gaze rested on the warrior on vigil, who had unfortunately become a warrior just tonight after the Gathering. The warrior,Ferncloud, stared unblinking at the fresh-kill pile, her eyes hungry and devouring the sight of the entire mass of prey.Rolling his eyes,he checked if his apprentice was lightly snoring, and hurried out of camp, nodding at Ferncloud when she stared at him,her attention now focused on the tabby's golden body."Er...medicine cat stuff.Need more herbs before cats go trampling everywhere in the morning."He explained in detail, and the she-cat shrugged, turning away briefly.

Letting out a sigh of relief, the medicine cat quickly groomed his ruffled pelt, smoothing the loose pieces of fur with his papery tongue.Looking up,he hoped he looked good enough for the Thunderclan leader when he arrived.Following the glare of the silver moonlight,he bounded towards the border between the two clans, his heart pounding with anticipation. Why am I feeling this way? He kept questionning himself, never seeming to get an answer.Halting quickly when he approached Briarstar,he gasped in admiration and love.He couldn't tear his jade-colored eyes away for Briarstar's fur gleamed under the full-moon's light."Briarstar...You're beautiful..."The lean tom breathed, his pads barely making any sound as he came nearer. Her dainty frame looked like a shining star among many, and her optics were so enchanting that Southwhisker could barely breath.

  • ( ooh yeah! that would be great! )

Southwhisker's gentle gasp reached the slender she-cat's ears. A blush crept up to Briarstar's features as she switched her clear gaze towards the tom. "S-Southwhisker," the dark pelted she-cat breathed softly as she leaped down the boulder to join him. "Y-You look marvelous." By this point, the leader had slipped down next to the Shadowclanner. Briarstar gingerly brushed her tail against his flank, pausing to glance up into luminous emerald orbs for permission. "S-Southwhisker....I don't know...we...have something." A wave of affection crashed onto the white-spotted she-cat as she leaned in as if to press her muzzle to his neck, but she stopped halfway and backed out, bashfully glancing away.

  • ooc;^^ ikr!

ic;Southwhisker's purr rose in his throat, and he leaned forward to brush pelts with the nervous she-cat,his whisker twitching with anticipation.Although he was slightly fearful of what yet might to come,he couldn't deny his love for Briarstar."I know..."He agreed, barely audible as his quiet voice rose in the night air.The golden tabby's sharp-looking ears angled towards the brown-and-white Thunderclanner, his heart pounding. The medicine cat knew this was wrong-and against the warrior AND medicine cat code. But,what was worst? He had fallen for a leader! He couldn't resist her,the moment they had spoken at the border,Southwhisker could think only of her. This was right, too.

  • Tingles ran up Briarstar's spine as the medicine cat brushed his pelt against hers. This went against everything she was taught - but it was obvious that the two had a connection, and nothing could sway that....right? Leaning forward to rest her head into the golden tom's shoulder, the leader pressed her muzzle onto his thick neck fur with a purr as a mischievious glint grew in her glowing optics. "Catch me if you can!" Briarstar waggled her hips playfully before speeding off along the border of the rival clans and heading for no cat's territory. Wind gently kissed the feline's chocolate and white pelt as she raced along then slid to an abrupt stop. Up ahead sat an abandoned Twoleg barn with fauna growing in, around, and on top of the structure. Slipping in past the leaning door, Briarstar scaled a low wooden beam.

  • Sniffing out her scent, the medicine cat stretched quickly before scouting the area she had disappeared into.He had followed her scent trail easily up until she had vanished into the old..Twoleg barn? The tabby shivered, feeling wind wrap him in its shawls of cold before he felt his fur stand up.If he stayed out here any longer,he would die of the freezing weather!Wrinkling his nose,he slipped through a crack near the open hole near the front, and parted his maw excitedly to taste the small she-cat's scent. The musky smell of the barn reeked everywhere, and Southwhisker bunched up his muscles in frustration.Allowing his tail to droop dramatically,he raised his muzzle into the air, making his eyes look rounded and astonished."Briarstar, you're too good, where are you?"He called out, forcing his voice to sound worried.

  • Any cat would be able to spot Southwhisker from fox lengths away due to the bright golden pelt he wore. Briarstar's ears pricked towards the entrance of the huge den as her....Southwhisker slid in. Mournful and worried tones clawing her heart, the ThunderClan leader slipped across the beam and cleanly leaped down, padding to the medicine cat. "Southwhisker? Are you hurt?" Running her sharp eyes over the lean tom's pelt, Briarstar shuffled her paws nervously.

  • Southwhisker turned innoncently on her,a gleam of mischief in his bright gaze.Purring,he pounced on her gently, remembering his first moon as an apprentice of a Shadowclan warrior. He had a little trouble remembering how to fight or defend, but he knew a bit of useful skills.Tucking his paws in,he used his weight to gently crash the Thunderclan leader towards the hay-covered ground, his purr rising as his front paws pushed the she-cat down slightly, his intention was that she would fall, surprised, onto the ground.

The golden tabby's green optics narrowed excitedly, and he hopped away from her on lightly colored pads."Briarstar, did you fall for that old trick?"He called teasingly from across the barn.Bunching up his muscles,Southwhisker swiftly leaped onto Twoleg items and hay piles before arriving at a lovely spot on the top of all of the dried yellow plants.Moonlight filtere through a large hole on the top of the barn, providing light to the dark barn.
