    "Pepper come here", Pepper's mom barks to her. Pepper runs over but then she gets tackled by her brothers and sisters. They live in an ally in the Twolegplace. "Ash, Winter, get off", Pepper's Father barks. "Sorry dad", Ash says getting off of pepper. "Okay dad!", Winter says. Suddenly a car stops at the ally way and a man gets out. He pulls out a pistol from his pocket and Pepper's mom gets them behind a dumpster. The guy walks down the ally and loads his gun looking between the cracks in the wall. Obviously he was looking for the wolves since he was carrying a sack. Pepper's mom and father jump out of the Dumpster and growl at him and the man aims the gun at the father. The father leaps at him and bites his leg and the pups stop looking and hide deep behind the dumpster. There is a yelp and a loud gun shot. Winter starts whining. They here more growling and snapping and then there is another gun shot. The man moves the dumpster and grabs winter. Winter yelps and starts barking and whining but she gets put in the sack. The man grabs Pepper and Ash bites the man's hand. "PEPPER RUN!", He yelps. Ash gets grabbed by The man and Pepper starts running. The man chases her but Pepper gets through the fence and runs into the forest.

    Lurk groaned as he walked through the forest. As always, he was the same grumpy old wolf. But an unusual scent draws him toward Pepper, finally seeing the pup. "You're on ThunderClan territory," he warned the lost creature. "State your name and business here."

    Wildlife lumbered over after hearing the loud commotion and stood next to Codypaw, shooting Timberpaw a warning glance before staring down at the puppy.

    "I-i'm P-pepper i ran away from the twolegplace... i twoleg took my brother and sister in a sack and killed my mom and dad with a weird stick thing", She says looking at the cats. The funny thing is that even though she is afraid of the cats. She is a bit bigger than Timberpaw.
