Pokémon Trainer Roleplay: Journey to Sinnoh!

    Lacey smiled at the Professor. "Hey, I'm Lacey! This is Lily -" She gestured to her younger sister, who was playing some kind of game with Chika. "- and this is Quilla, my Cyndaquil."


    Professor Rowan was slightly startled by the voice. "Cedric Ontemar, you say?" He inquired, stroking his whiskers. "And it's Professor Rowan, not Doctor, by the way."


    Lily stopped playing with Chika. She squealed, probably for the 78th time that day, and raced over to the door. She grinned at this new girl. "Hi! My name's Lily and this is Chika, my Chikorita! So nice to meetcha! What's your name?"

    "Uh, m-my names Flame, Flame Wood," Flame answered, baffled by the sudden attention. Stupid curiosity! You brought me into this! she thought to herself. She felt a tugging at her pants legs, to find Cinder pulling on it with her teeth. "Oh! I almost forgot! This is Cinder, my Vulpix," she said as she gestured at Cinder, forgetting the situation for a second. Cinder stretched, showing off her black paws that almost look like burning cinders, hence her name.

[glow=red,2,300]"Anyways, down to business- Word is that you're capable of recalibrating foreign Pokedex models to better suit the Region. I've found that my own is a bit outdated, so I came here to upgrade, maybe pick up a few Pokeballs on the way out."[/glow]

    Vance obviously noticed a boy and his Gardevoir enter the scene as the door creaked rather loudly. His Treeko looked up from inside his trainer's bag am tilted his head.

    Professor Rowan nodded. "I certainly can do that, my boy. By the way, you do bear a most striking resemblance to..." the Prof looked over to Samuel, then shook his head, seeing the boy's obvious displeasure. "Oh, never mind. I'm sure I'm mistaken. Anyhow, just show me your Pokédex, hmm? I'll fix it up for you."


    Lacey raised an eyebrow at Lily's excitement. "You see?" She said, shaking her head. "Insane." She greeted Flame and Cinders happily. "Nice to meet you. You starting a Sinnoh journey? I'm Lacey, and that's Lily. She is my insane little sister."

    While waiting for everyone to settle, Vance turned and began to slowly walk off over to the tall steel shelves that supported different pokemon. There were several pokeballs stocked on each compartment as he squinted at the small writing beneath them, which had their name inserted on it. The trainer raised his head, gazing at the bearded professor. "You don't mind if I take a look around at these? Maybe, pick a few perhaps?"

    The Professor shook his head to Vance. Then he nodded. Then he shook his head again, confusing himself. "Ah... yes, you may look. No, you can't "pick" some. Those Pokéballs belong to some trainers I sponsor. They leave their extra Pokéballs with me when they have more than six Pokémon."

    Cedric followed the Professor's eyes, though Samuel ducked back into the crowd, settling in near Lacey and Flame before he could be spotted. Cedric simply let that point lie, shrugging off the assumption that he'd been deemed similar. [glow=red,2,300]"...Good to hear you can deliver, Professor. I'm sure that such a modification must be quite expensive as well, and I'd be willing to pay for it if it is."[/glow]


    Back in the crowd, Samuel planted his palm firmly against his face. "Why is here?" he asked nobody in particular. [color=cyan]"Of all people, why is Cedric here?"

    OOC: Have you ever noticed that no one ever pays for anything in the show?!


    The Professor shook his head. "Oh, no, quite all right, quite all right. The upgrade is simple and doesn't cost hardly anything." Professor Rowan took the Pokédex from Cedric's hand and placed it in a slot in his computer. The computer took in the Pokédex, and Professor Rowan took it out moments later. "There you go, my boy. And here are four regular Pokéballs, along with a Master Ball. You're all set, now, then. And good luck to you!"

    OOC: Yeah.....


    IC: As Jake left his apartment, he grabbed his bike and began to hop on, Not caring he was inside. As he started to pedal, his mother walked outside and told him he could use that indoors. He sighed and hoped of f and left to go meet with everyone else.

    [glow=red,2,300]"Of course, and thank you, Professor."[/glow] Cedric gave one last nod, taking the newly upgraded Pokedex and the five Balls, each item going in its respective slot on his belt, the Pokedex in the back and the Balls going around his right hip, behind the single Premier Ball near the front. With that said and done, he turned and began his way out, a sly smirk playing across his face once he'd turned away from the Professor. [glow=red,2,300]"Aim high, hit low,"[/glow] he recited as he passed the other trainers, [glow=red,2,300]"and not a Pokedime spent."[/glow]

    Vance blinked then nodded, slowly before straightening himself up. He walked back over to where the group was, well more like a few feet away from where they were standing to be precise. He looked at Professor Rowan before proceeding, "I also need an upgraded pokedex for this specific region." He handed the older man a red device made for only the Hoenn region.

    Flame rolled her eyes at Cedric. "How arrogant," she muttered. "Well, nice to meet you too. And I am starting my Sinnoh Journey. I plan on heading towards Canalave City next," Flame answered as she turned back towards Lacey and Lilly.

    Vance waited patiently for Professor Rowan's response before a temporarily forgotten task reappeared into his head. "Ah, I almost forgot something. I'm also here to pick up a pokemon my friend sent me as a surprise."

    Jay and Gardevoir slowly approached Rowan, both wearing their hoods to try and keep what anonymity they had. The hung back to wait for the other trainers to pass.

    Erin was glad to see everybody helping to get this back on track. That trainer that was in there was extremely snobbish, she found herself disliking him. "Ah, the entire group here needs the upgrade, and some are new and need maps and starting kits. I could start upgrading the dexes, I'd you'd like?

    "Yes, right." The Professor nodded to Erin, and handed her Vance's and Jay's Pokedexes. He shook Jay's hand in greeting and turned to Vance. "What Pokemon might that be, hm, my boy?" He began to pull out PokeNavs for all the trainers as he awaited a response.
