    Broken Smiles is anything but ordinary. As a young child, he killed his father by stabbing him with a kitchen knife someone left on the counter. His mother was fined, since he was only 5 at the time. The mother hated the son for a long time afterwards. Growing up, Broken and his mother would always fight and argue. One day, when he was 18 at the time, he fled his home. He's now living on the streets, away from his mother and the heartache. After living in an alley for months, he gets attacked. That's when he meets you, who is living in an apartment alone. You take him in, and you develop feelings for the boy.

    It was late at night. Everyone had gone to their homes, and I would only see a car pass by every hour or two. I had my head down as I walked, my mess of obsidian hair hiding my face. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. Mostly from the immense pain I felt in my back. It hurt like hell. It was also bleeding a lot, something my black hoodie hid from prying eyes. However, all the blood loss was making me feel dizzy and sick. I soon had to stop by a large apartment complex. I sat with my back against the wall of the building, curling my legs to my chest and burying my face in my arms. I hurt so much, and there was nothing I could do...

    his name is Dan Smith and he his gay, but then hates to think he is. people have bullied him about it since the start of high school, he was too afraid of having a boyfriend because he is almost ashamed to be gay, even though he shouldn't be. he is very very shy and quiet, very awkward and uncomfortable around people, mainly for his sexuality and for being so insecure. but when you get to know him he is very sweet caring, still quiet and awkward but is very sweet.

    Dan had just got back from his mates house, he pulled up in a parking space outside his apartment and he jumped out. He fished around in his pocket to get his keys. He slowly walked to the door of the apartment. If you saw Dan, or even talked to him, you would have no clue whatsoever that he was gay, that's because with everything he had, he tried to hide it. A dark, small figure caught his eye, sitting against the wall just outside the big doors of the apartment complex. Dan frowned, and took a few steps closer, to see if he could make out the dark figure.

    Ic~ I heard foosteps, and I gazed up. I froze as I saw a male figure standing a few feet away from me. Is this one of the guys that attacked me?! I slowly edged away, my eyes wide. "Wh-who are you?" I asked in a quiet, scared voice.

    In shock and surprise, Dan noticed it was a boy of about his age. He saw his poor eyes widen and back away. "N-No, No, it's , I'm not going to hurt you," he said quickly in a soothing manner. He slowly took a step closer and crouched down slightly, to show he wasn't going to do anything.

    Dan nodded and swallowed hard, "Yes of course, now.... You look so cold and just in pain.... Where do you live?" He asked softly, he wanted to see if he could get the poor person home.

    dan raised his eyebrows in surprise, "Oh ok... Well, would you like to come inside... T-To warm up?" He asked awkwardly. "I'm Dan by the way," he added with a kind yet insecure smile.

    Ic~ My breath caught in my throat at the thought of that. Last time I stepped foot in a house, Mom almost killed me, and I ended up stabbing her in a fit of rage. I bit my lip. Should I...? After careful decision, I nodded, "O-okay." I carefully stood up. I cringed at a sharp pain in my back.

    Dan nodded and stood up. He saw how unstable he was and his eyes widened, quickly taking his arm to support him. He helped him over to the door, he saw how beaten up he was. He felt so sorry for him. He then looked closer at his features, he blinked and looked down quickly, he had never really experienced those feelings before. He got out his keys quickly and unlocked the door, "I-It's just upstairs," he stuttered.

    Dan was slightly taking back by his name. But he smiled quickly in return, "nice to meet you, Broken," he said softly, before continuing to help him up the stairs, holding his arm to make sure he got up safely.

    Dan lead him upstairs and into his apartment room. He slowly unlocked the door and helped him in. "Sorry, it's a little bit of a mess..." He chuckled weakly, nervous and awkward around new people.
