    "Uhh... whatever you want, I actually quite like that nickname." I said glancing upwards at him still smiling, but now goofily. I heard the beep of a horn and looked to see my mom waving to me from the car. "uhh.... I think I gotta go." I said looking at him sadly.

    I sighed. I really wished she could stay longer... "Okay, then. Bye, Mel." I replied, smiling lightly at her. "We should hang out some more sometime." I added as an afterthought, glancing towards her mom's car.


    "Really?" I asked, "I would quite enjoy that actually! I'll talk to you tomorrow about it I guess?" I asked, my confidence rising to new hights. "I mean if its fine with you though." I looked at as if I had invited him to something he didn't want to do and I was forcing him. "Uhh... I gotta go." I said turning away and heading towards my mom's car.

    "Uh... Sounds good!" I replied with a small wave, watching as she ran off. Well, at least that worked out, which was definitely good. I watched her depart from the school, walking to my car and finally driving home. I wished I had asked for her number.


    TIME SKIP NEXT DAY!


    I stepped out of my moms car and grabbed my bag. "Seeya at the house mom, Charlotte said she'll give me a ride today." I said into the car, closed the door and watched her drive away. I turned around and looked at the people walking into the school hoping to see Josh.

    [color=black[font=georgia]I slowly walked into school, hoping to see Melanie somewhere in front of the school this morning. Maybe she was late? As I turned to the side, I noticed her out of tur corner of my eye, walking over to her.[/font]][/color]


    I looked around until I saw Josh walking towards me. "Uh... hi Josh!" I said nervously. My hand automatically pushing my hair out of my face, but to my disappointment if fell back again. I smiled hopelessly and looked up into Josh's eyes.

    I laughed, smiling at her. "Hey, Mel." I had already taken a liking to my nickname for her; it sorta felt like our thing, as stupid as it sounds. "So... What's up?" I really just wanted to talk to her before school started, since we rarely saw each other during the day.


    "School, duh." I said giggling. "I barely slept last night because I was so behind on homework. It sucked" I said yawning. "What about you? What have you done today, so far?" I asked. I shuffled my feet and pic as I waited for a reply.

    I laughed in response to her answer, "School huh? I would've never guessed~" I shifted on my feet slightly, "Uh... All I've done today is drive to school. Pretty boring stuff, if I do say so myself..."

    ic; My cheeks roared when he said that, thoughts flashing through my head with maybe he liked me or he thought I was a friend. I smiled to myself and pushed my bangs out of my hair. "T-thank you. I like to talk to you too." I stuttered a bit, my heart pounding in my chest, my palms sweaty. I was so hopelessly in love with him.
