Ic: Orion's eyebrows raised at Raven as her pace slowed, her hand moving to the hilt of her sword as her face twisted momentarily with rage and hurt. Yet again, he felt another pang of guilt pierce his stomach. The more he thought about it, the more he felt he was in the wrong. His intentions were good, he wanted to preserve what they had and he wanted his first time to be special. He was afraid them making love on the first night they also revealed their feelings to one another would extinguish their connection. Frankly, Orion was worried Raven would end up not liking him, he was worried that for some reason they wouldn't work out. His eyes narrowed in guilt as she continued, expressing how she felt about last night. He hadn't meant to drop her like he did, and it certainly wasn't done with the motive Raven thought it was done with. Her sandals clicked through the halls as they neared the exit. "What's there to talk about? Let's talk about the misunderstanding that's present." He replied, his eyes fixating on the side of her face as he picked his pace up as well. "I dropped you out of fear, Raven." He stopped walking, his voice turning much more serious than it was before. "I've been living with an overwhelming sense of apathy and disinterest since I returned from the Shadowlands. I've been cynical, I've been disconnected from people. But you, you were something different. You were the comforting glow of a match in a blackened cave. I was, I am worried of that match burning out. That's why I did what I did last night, I smothered the match in an attempt to preserve its flame." He spoke, tears forming in his eyes as he spoke, his voice cracking ever so slightly. "I'm sorry I did what I did, but you're the only thing that has woken me from the monotony, and I don't want to lose you. In my time being back from the Shadowlands, you have been the only thing in which I've cared about. I'm sorry Raven, I truly am. I wasn't trying to throw you back into the darkness." Tears began to roll down his face as he spoke, truly afraid of losing what they had. He was pouring himself to her, unsure as to how she'd respond.

It was only the ticking of her shoes, alone, that made her stop and turn to stare at Orion as he began to speak. She was a match too him who he had so carelessly snuffed out so as to not be burned. Balling her hands into fists, the bird turned her head away to stare down at the tile beside her right foot, her cerulean eyes closing shut tightly as she listened to Orion, barely. Making a small 'tch' sound as he commented on her being the only thing he cared about since arriving at this school, which made the bird chirp with a bitter laughter. Shaking her head, Raven slowly opened her eyes before bringing a hand to pinch the bridge of her nose before letting her hand fall to the hilt of her sword. "You're such an idiot...Orion..." Raven timidly spoke up before her feet slowly began to make their soft ticking noises as she walked towards the snow haired boy. The raven stood slightly taller than the male in her wooden sandal's so with a swift bend of her knees, the violet haired beauty was lowering herself down and capturing Orion's lips gently. With a soft, chaste kiss the girl planted on the white haired's lips before she was stepping back and brushing violet hair away from her blue eyes. "I'm not just some pathetic match, Orion. I'm the whole damn fire, and I'm growing. You won't have to worry about my light or my flame burning out. You merely just drizzled some water on my coals last night." Raven stated with a small smile before she turned around and began to push open the doors to the dorm room building, the light of the morning sun temporarily making her eyes fluttered close before she was use to it. Turning to stare back at Orion, she shook her violet head before replying to his statement about the darkness. "How can I ever be in darkness again when I have a phoenix sitting upon my shoulder?" She vividly joked with a teasing, raised eyebrow; moving out onto the cement of the building's stairs as she made her way to classes.

Ic: Orion's eyes narrowed as her hand fell to the hilt of her sword, her sandals ticking as she moved toward. He flinched slightly at her remark as she neared him. Her cerulean eyes were boring into his as she bent down, Orion grunting in surprise from her lips meeting his. He lost all control of his thoughts for a moment, his mind falling apart as he melted against Raven's soft lips. He breathed lightly, a feeling of warmth waving through his body as she pulled back from him moments later. Orion felt like an addict looking for their next fix as she retracted from him, her lips his drug. His aqua gaze met hers as she spoke, a relieved smile forming on his face. As she turned around, pushing violet hair out of her eyes, Orion gave a silent sigh of relief. He was grateful for her forgiveness, feeling like a tremendous weight had been removed from his shoulders. He followed after her as she stepped outside, giving a small laugh at her comment as he noticed how cute she was when she raised the eyebrow the way she did when she was teasing. He followed next to her, pushing his reading glasses farther up on the bridge of his nose as they descended the steps, the sun warming Orion. Taking a deep breath, he realized how nice the day was. The fall leaves still littered the square, turning the bland cement into a sea of fiery autumn leaves. And yet, the sun shined brightly, reflecting off of the oranges and reds of the ground. "Did you end up getting any work from your classes yesterday?" Orion asked Raven, a look of curiosity on his face as they moved down the canopied path that led to the victorian/gothic styled buildings that their classes were held in.

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion yawned in a bored manner as the lecture his teacher was giving droned on. Orion already fully understood what the teacher was teaching the class. Eyes rolling from the professor to the wall to his left, Orion began to to contemplate his first week at Jay Academy. It had been a week since his intimate moments with Raven, someone which he rarely saw as much as he desired. She was so busy with her group of fans, and her group of genuine friends, along with her classes. They had trained together once or twice with swords, but the majority of the time they hadn't seen each other. Orion blushed as he recalled the the cherry taste of her lips from this morning. They had walked to class together and before they parted, Orion had stolen a kiss from her. The majority of the time, Orion had been focusing on his readings. He found some rather interesting books on Demonism that he began to study extensively. Deciding that keeping the info he had about Demons to himself, Orion had began to study our current understanding of them and applying what he knew in a small book he was creating. His thoughts roamed as the class rolled on,his mind preoccupied with other things.

Orion jumped from his sat when an alarm began to whine, cutting the professor off as he spoke. Red lights flashed as the students in the room stared around in curiosity and confusion. "Students, stay within your classes. I repeat, stay within your classes, there is a security breach." A voice echoed over the intercom. Orion's eyes squinted at the voice, obviously something was wrong. The class began to erupt in gossip, the professor attempting to quell it. The voices in the class began to raise, the sound of fear filled whispers echoing throughout the room. Orion slammed his hand on the table, standing as his voice roared. "Silence! If there are demons in this building, they will hear us if we continue to speak." His icy glare fixed on the crowd of students, who seemed to immediately accept Orion as their leader in the situation. It wasn't surprising, considering the amount of experience he had and the amount of times he faced similar ordeals. He put a finger to his mouth, motioning for them to be silent as he cautiously walked near the door, listening attentively. Before the crowd could process what was occurring, the door blew off of its hinges, a humanoid black mist entering the room, the temperature in the class almost instantaneously.

Moving back slightly, Orion's glare fixed on the demon in front of him, hoarse breaths coming from the black mist. The professor moved by the students, the room dead silent after their initial scream of surprise. In the blink of an eye, the beast lunged for Orion thoughtlessly with astonishing speed. Moving to the left as he picked up a meter stick from the professor's table, Orion flicked his foot in front of the demon's leg, who promptly tripped, immediately scurrying to get back up on its legs. Slamming the ruler into the demon's throat, Orion pinned it to the floor, his foot planted firmly on its chest. "Ut lux coram oculis meis rem discutiat" He uttered, a light shining around the demon. Not only did Orion have an affinity for bows and arrows, but the other thing he excelled highly at was spells and incantations. The demon hissed as the light began to disperse the demon before him. In seconds, the terrifying hissing was gone, the demon no more. Taking a short breath, Orion glanced to the class before moving towards the door, peaking his head out to see if Raven was in the hall. Multiple demons filled the hall, all ravaging classes. "Raven, where are you?" Orion called out, knowing her class was near his. Two more demons rushed towards him. In a moments notice, he was slamming one of their heads against the wall, dark black liquid splattering on the wall and his face as he ducked from a vicious swipe. Throwing his fist into the second demon's stomach, Orion muttered an expulsion, the demon dispersing in moments. He knew these were nothing more than lesser demons, and was afraid of what might be to come. Moving into the hallway completely, Orion looked anxiously for Raven.

It was a boring class after all. Miester class, those who were able to wield a weapon were thrown into this class to train better in their weapon skills. Lucky for Raven, she was already the head of the class and a master at her swords and pretty much everything else...now. Yawning, the prodigy child sat in her regular armor and skirt piece with her swords at her hips. She really didn't need to bring her weapon's with her to this class for she didn't need to show her skill any further, already a master once again. Covering her mouth with the back of her hand, the bird stared to her right with cerulean eyes misted as she reflected her morning through her head, all noises lost to her ears as she thought about Orion. Her morning had been a flurry of feathers of ruffled birds wings with a chaste kiss this morning at the door from non other than Orion. His lips had softened since their first kiss and now...she was the one melting into him. After he had scurried off to his own class, leaving behind a madly blushing raven bird, the girl felt like throwing a dagger at his back. Covering her mouth with the palm of a smooth hand as a dark and hot red blush formed on her cheeks from the hot feeling suddenly stabbing into her stomach.

A sharp high whine brought the bird out of her thoughts in an instant, the blush dissipating instantly. A strong voice sounded throughout the air, cutting the female professor quickly off but hardly any sound made their way into the rushing blood of Raven's ears as her mind flooded with possibilities of what might happen. The first name she could conjure up in her pretty little head was, "Orion..." Her lips moved but no sound reached her ears as the other girl's and guys scrambled to get out of the room as fast as possible. "No...they'll die if they go out there...no...stop them, Raven. Stop them...stop them!" Raven thought and with a sharp intake, the girl opened her mouth and let out a cry. "Everyone sit down and shut the hell up! If we're not careful the demons will-" The bird cawed out but was cut off with a sharp cracking noise and a loud slam. Glancing down at the ground for a split second before a blood curdling howl entered her bones. They were in...the demons...but how? The barrier should have been strong enough to keep weak demons out like these ones! Quickly, the bird flew down to stand in front of a girl who's weapon was as big as Raven, why hadn't she used it against this demon? "Everyone get back!" The raven shouted with a snap, hands lowered towards the hilt of her swords. Before her stood a class C demon, the second closest to the lowest demon out there...what was a level C doing here and would there be a class A here? Her teeth clamped tight together as the students flooded behind the prodigy child, giving her enough room to fight...barely.

It was slowing down, time itself was slowing for the bird and in a blink of an eye it would soon shatter. The demon, black as night, raised it's hefty claws from the floor and let out another piercing howl before it moved with amazing speed towards Raven. The bird simply laughed, "Too slow." She cawed and before the demon could even take two steps it was being slammed and thrown back out into the hall. Lifting herself from the shoulder tackle she just landed on the Beowulf, Raven ordered for those unwilling to fight to stay there; which was pretty much everyone but herself. Drifting into the hallway, Raven held up her hands in a martial arts stance and glared at the Beowulf before her. "Écume de démon." The girl spat in perfect French, the letters rolling of her tongue like sweet honey. Reaching down, the bird unlatched the katana from her belt and held up the weapon, sheath and all, pointing to her right. "It ends now." Raven stated without bating an eye as she lowered her sword point into the palm of her left hand, bringing her right hand, and the hilt of the sword, closer to the ground as she watched the Beowulf closely. Her once cerulean blue eyes now dark and stormy with rage, hidden lightning behind her perfect shade of glass eyes. The demon glared at her with soulless black eyes, beady like an actual birds would be, before the monster charged to kill Raven. A smirk etched across her perfect pale features and before the demon could even register what was happening, Raven slashed out with the katana's cold steel and off came the head of the demon with an easy cut and spray of crimson. The Beowulf's body slumped sheepishly to the ground, it's head landing at Raven's feet. Narrowing her stormy eyes, her sword returned to it's sheath while a soft slew of words spilled from her mouth; "Le nom de Dieu, je me repens." Her prayer echoed throughout the soundless hall now but not for long. Before she would take off to kill the rest of the demons, her cold eyes narrowed even more as she glanced back at her classmates. "You have weapons...use them." And with that little note, Raven was running down the hall where Orion's class would await for her.

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion's eyes flitted around the hall, three more C-Class Demons rushing him. In a flurry, his feet and hands kicked out at the demons, hoarse screams coming from them as their limbs broke when Orion made contact. His martial arts had improved drastically since he started training with Raven, his attacks much more fierce and his stance much more sturdy. His head weaved side to side as he avoided the claws of the demon, his fist meeting the face of a demon to his right, covering his fist in black blood. His breath grew quicker as he began to lose himself. His PTSD was being triggered, his eyes wild and crazed as he mercilessly obliterated the demons before him. The hoarse whispers of the demons grew silent as the sound of footsteps sounded in the hallway. Orion looked up, glaring at the beast at the end of the hallway. It's horns curled from the side of its head, its four burning eyes boring into Orion. "A Capra." Orion whispered hoarsely to himself. It was a higher class B Demon, one that he'd seen on multiple occasions during his time in the Shadow lands.

Standing from his hunched position slowly, Orion glared at the Capra, its breath fuming in the cold air. He was completely lost in the moment, back in the Shadowlands in his own mind. There was a moment of silence, both Orion and the Capra staring eachother down, the Capra significantly taller than Orion. In an instant, the sound of the beasts hooves filled the hallway. It held a large hammer in its right hand, raising it as it thundered towards him. The hammer came swinging downwards towards Orion's head. Moving to the right, he avoided the swinging tool, slamming his fist into the upper thigh of the demon. A roar came from it, accompanied by Orion swinging his elbow into the beasts stomach, his hand quickly raising to the curled horns of beast. As it swung the hammer again, shaking its head to rid of Orion, he leaped off of the ground, planting his feet on the wall to the side of the demon. Pushing off of the wall, Orion's body flipped backwards over the demon, his legs landing on the shoulders like a kid on the shoulders of his father.

Orion lost all sense of thought, completely enveloped by his PTSD. He gripped the horns of the beast, screaming as he twisted its horns, the monster roaring as it tried to fight the pressure Orion was putting on its neck. But it was to no avail, Orion was too far gone. His legs were wrapped around its neck as he twisted its horn, its head completely turned to the side. In a final shout of rage, Orion put all of his strength into his motions. In a loud snap and a furious yelp, the demon collapsed to the floor, its head completely turned around. Orion quickly moved to straddle it, his fists slamming into the limp demon's body, his hands bloody and covered in black. There was a roaring in his ears, a pulsing red aura covering his sight. His fists continually buried themselves in the beast, Orion faintly aware that he was still yelling. He felt a hand on his shoulder, turning to see Raven. Instantly, he calmed, the aura receding from his vision. He looked around in confusion, her soft hand gripping his shoulder as he noticed the path of destruction behind her, her no doubt being the source of it. He breathed heavily, looking at her as if he just woke from a bad dream. Other kids rallied against demons in other parts of the hall, fighting them off, many of the demons retreating. "I-I..." Orion tried to gather his thoughts, standing with the help of Raven. He put a hand to his head, staring around as if he had been sleep walking. Instinctively, he embraced Raven tightly, her being his only source of comfort. He breathed heavily into her neck, unsure of what was going on. Her breasts pressed tightly against his chest as he hugged her, his head burrowing into her shoulder.

It was so amazing to watch yet the birds stomach rolled with bile, shoving it up closer and closer to her mouth as she watched the scene before her. After fighting her way through a clutter of B-class demons, the bird was drenched in black blood but no where near the mess Orion state was. Shivering at the sight of her lover, the female warriors cerulean blue eyes widen ever so slightly before her armored feet were running for the male. Her delicate fingers outstretched to him as they enclosed around his bloody shoulder. The look of terror, pure fear, was clear across his face as his teal eyes fixated on her. He had seemed as if just woken from a nap, startled and afraid he had done something horrible. The wake of demons behind her evidence of his doing. Raven watched as Orion stuttered as he slowly came to his senses, rising to his feet and turned to face her. One sword held in a black hand, sticking with blood, and pointing towards the ground as she was embraced tightly against the male. Breasts pressed hard against his broad chest as his dirty arms circled around her waist and held her so close to him; she could barely breath. Accepting the sweet embrace, the female bird hugged Orion back just as tight as he was doing to her, her fingers pulling through his snow write haired as she calmed him. "No...Orion, no. Shh...it's okay. You were protecting everyone...protecting me. You did the right thing...I'm proud of you." Raven cooed sweet whispers into his ear, hugging him tightly to her neck and body. He had done the right thing, even if the hall was a bloody mess; it would clean. Raven leaned back a little just barely enough to shift her head so their foreheads were pressed together, her brother soft and warm. "You did nothing wrong, Orion...you did just fine." The bird whispers sweetly as her free hand came up to caress the side of Orion's face as she leaned back to fully look up at him, cerulean eyes returning to their beautiful state as she smiles angelic like at him.

Ic: Orion was breathing heavily, beads of sweat on his forehead as she brushed her hands through his white hair. He had blacked out during the ordeal, only faintly remembering his battle with the Capra. He sighed, trying to breathe as Raven spoke soothingly to him. His breath was becoming more stable the more she spoke. He gave a small smirk as she pulled back, her soft hand caressing his face. "I don't even remember what happened." He murmured to her, her sweet breath causing her eyes to flutter as he breathed, their foreheads still touching. They went on a moment longer as they were, embracing each other. Finally, Orion grabbed her by the hips, moving her back ever so slightly as he stepped back, a renewed look on his face. "We ought to make sure everyone else is okay. I'm sure there were other waves of demons on other parts of campus." He suggested, gripping her hand in his as he looked into her cerulean gaze, her violet hair flowing flawlessly down her back.

As soon as his fingers found the bird's hips, all her senses were out the window. She didn't remember the demons roaming the school, didn't remember to breath as all air left her lungs. All she couldn't focus on now was his fingers lingering on her hot skin. Letting out a soft breath as he spoke, Raven blushed a soft shade of pink as Orion began to speak to her about the other students. Shaking her head a little as her senses slowly returned to her head, blood roaring in her ears as she tried to focus. "Uh...uh yeah. The other students. Alright...I'll go to the courtyard and lure most of them there, then with the help of the teachers and such we can probably take them down...if the Corps isn't on it's way already..." Raven mumbled with a light head, pushing a hand to her temple gently. Just a single touch was enough to drive her over the edge...who was she? Chuckling lowly to herself, the bird tilted her head back to peer at Orion. "Let's kill some chiennes." Raven stated the french word with an extra roll of her perfect tongue, mischievous clear in her cerulean eyes as she leaned forward and planted a soft kiss upon Orion's cheek, whispering in his ear hotly; "I'll get you back for doing that..." She mumbled sweetly before she was flying off down the hall towards the courtyard opening, taking her swords sheath and slamming it against the lockers; shouting for the demons to follow her as she mentally sent out a pulse to grab the attackers attention.

After making it out into the courtyard, she was surely surrounded by several C's,B's,and A class demons. "C'est mauvais..." She mumbled off in French, cerulean eyes turning dark once again as if she had the eyes of a storm, held back by a thin layer of water. Smirking, the girl lowered her now free hand, after replacing the sheath onto her waist, and pulled out her second sword. Ready for battle. "Bring it on..." She taunted with a dark gleam in her eyes. In a moment's flash she was taring up demon limbs and cutting off demons heads in a fury of a sword dance, blood falling like rain around the beautiful bird as she danced to her own, horrific yet beautiful, tune.

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion nodded his head to Raven as she told him her plan. "Sounds good, i'll watch your six and help anyone being singled out by them." He replied as her head leaned back. He nodded with a chuckle as she spoke, her tongue rolling perfectly as she spoke the french slang, a devious look on her face. Orion blushed fiercely as Raven kissed his cheek, her hot breath on his skin as she whispered into his ear, her lips barely touching his ear. He gave a deep breath, clearly aroused as she pulled back. He longed for her hips to return to his hands as she moved to take on the demons before her. She moved gracefully as he blade tore through her enemies, her violet hair rolling. Looking around, Orion searched for something to against the demons. Noticing the weapons class Raven had just left from, he swiftly entered, looking for a weapon to use.

Instantly, he noticed the bow and arrow to the side, likely for the other class the teacher in this room taught. Moving quickly, Orion slung the full quiver over his back, grabbing the bow in his left hand. Before he could even leave the room, four to five demons entered the room. Within seconds, the repetitive thrum of the bow marked their deaths, their hisses ceasing. Moving forward, Orion picked up the arrows, running out of the room. He shot off two more arrows, both piercing the hearts of two separate demons. He began to make his way out of the class, firing off arrows and picking them up as he neared them. His heartbeat was steady as he moved down the hallway, letting arrows fly into any demon he saw.

His rhythm was broken by the sudden appearance of a demon to his side, its claws outreached. moving slyly, Orion spun on the ball of his foot, swinging his bow over the demons head. Pulling the outer curve of the bow hard against the demon's throat, Orion, now completely behind the beast, stomped his calf downwards on its calf to lower it to its knees. He planted his foot on its back, pushing his foot whilst pulling his bow. Within seconds, the screeches of the demon faded away as its head rolled off of its body, black blood spurting everywhere. Moving with haste, Orion began to pick up his pace towards the exit, the light of the midday sun shining through the windows.

The light was dulled by the clouds that began to form overhead, a storm apparently forming. Orion's eyes widened as he arrived at the door, looking through the glass of the door momentarily before exiting the building. The path to the center square was swarming with demons, students fearfully fighting them off. Instantly, Orion began to fire off arrows at demons overwhelming students, all of them dropping quickly. He had no time to listen to their gratitude as he walked past, an arrow seemingly constantly on his bow. Within minutes, he arrived at the center square, captivated by the sight before him. Raven was fighting off a horde, her swords slicing through tens of enemies as she entered what seemed like the mouth of hell. She was on a different level in this regard. Orion was skillful with the bow, yes, but she was something else. He had survival skills, the knowledge of the demons, he knew how to work around them, he knew about them. Raven on the other hand, knew how to kill them. They continuously fell at the edge of her blade as she danced through the crowd. Snapping out of his trance, Orion nocked an arrow, pulling it back before releasing it into a demon next to Raven. Looking around, he began to sprint towards a cluster of students being smothered. He fired off several arrows, all hitting their mark. The students stood flabbergasted, looking confused and terrified. "All of you, I need you to rally the other outside of the square, tell them to prepare to box in the square and to pass on the message, they're all flooding here. GO!" Orion commanded, the students nodding, surprised by the booming voice of the typically shy and quiet teen. He moved, looking for more students to save and pass the word on to.

Demon after demon fell at the slash of her blade. Black blood blending the green grass under her feet, turning the area around her a circle of Hell. Every cut of her blade was followed with an even sharper, deeper cut. Both blades held near her waist as she protected herself from incoming attacks and slashed out during the attack. Blood darkened and stained her pale skin, making her momentarily seeming like a demon herself as she fought off demon after demon. The bird was tiring, quickly, and when she didn't see the demon at her left side before it was too late, her cerulean eyes turned a pale shade of blue as fear swept across her gaze. A thick notch of an arrow squared itself directly into the side of the demon's head, tilting it over and killing it on impact. Bringing her now dark gaze up to stare across the courtyard at Orion, the one whom had saved her, giving off a small sigh. "I'll have to remember to repay him for that..." Raven thought with a sadistic smirk. Turning her attention back to the demons, the double sword wielder gave a small slur of curse words at the numbers seeming to increase on the demons side.

"I won't make it...if more are going to show up." She mumbled under her breath and dodged a quick slash from a Wolf Demon only to be tripped by the tail of a Casco demon. Stumbling, the bird tried to gain her footing back but was too slow and dazed from all the battles she had been fighting against the demons. Falling backwards even seemed slow as she fell before hitting the ground with a hard thud, the air leaving her lungs, a level A-class demon hovered over her. His eyes wild and a dark, crimson red as he peered into the bird's soul, raising one of its large cleaver, going to smash the bird to dust. Nothing but feathers would remain of the girl as she slowly held up her swords before her and waited for the end to come...
but it didn't. Raven sat for a few seconds after she had thought surely she would die. When the Goddess of Death didn't come to greet her...her cerulean blue eyes peered open to stare up at the true Goddess of Death. White jasmine tickled her nose, her blue eyes opened wide as she stared at the short haired woman, blocking the cleaver from smashing the girl below. "You were much faster before leaving." The woman stated as she lashed out with the unsheathed sword to knock the demon hard in the nose. Watching it stumble back, the black haired woman leaped up and with an easy swing of her foot; snap went the demons neck and it crumpled to the ground. With ease, the woman seemed to float back down to the ground before two, beautiful blades retracted from her sheaths, showing off their perfect form. "Don't tell me...coming to this school was a big mistake, hmm? Raven-chan?" The woman spoke before casting her unholy dark blue gaze towards the bird still on the ground. Only a single word pushed it's way past the girls thoughts. Out of all the screaming thoughts in her head telling her to move, get up, fight, or some other command...one word pushed through them all and it trembled against Raven's lips before slowly, like blood, dripped out of her mouth.

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion ducked and weaved through the crowds of demons and kids, spreading his message as he slashed through the abominations with an arrow in his hands, acting as an unconventional dagger. The more he progressed, the more battered he got. The occasional scratches and cuts began to take their toll, adding up as he ran around the square, calling the plan to the people of Jay Academy. As he did so, people began to retreat backwards, the word spreading efficiently. People were forming walls at the entrances of the square, using spears, blades, and guns to keep the demons penned inside of the square. Realizing he needed a better view, Orion found himself at the base of a large tree, stabbing his arrow into the trunk and using it as a foothold as he climbed the branches. He swung up into the tree easily, his parkour like skills and agility he gained in the Shadow Lands now paying off. He squinted, observing the scene before him. The majority of people had gotten out of the square, joining the forces at the entrances. Many long ranged guardians, called Rangers, had taken place on building tops, firing into the crowd of demons. It seems as if the corps had arrived.

Orion sat perched at the top of the tree, his eyes moving quickly as he observed the situation. The corps were reinforcing the lines, replacing many of the students, filling in their spots. So, this is what Orion was working towards being. As he sat at the top of the tree and watched them move, he couldn't help but feel as if they were acting as a hive mind. They all worked together so fluently, any sense of individualism seemingly gone. Orion was impressed, but it also made him feel rather uneasy. That's why he wished to go in the Ranger branch of the Corps, they worked much more by themselves, granted much more autonomy.

His eyes narrowed as he spotted Raven, a strange woman with her. The demons were staying relatively far from them, but Orion noticed a larger B-Class Demon feeling rather brave, moving towards them. Orion notched an arrow, taking a deep breath as he aimed the bow at the beast. He was extremely far away, and firing from a high angle. Even for a seasoned Ranger, this shot would be difficult. He let it loose, the arrow whizzing through the air as it hurled towards the monster. He couldn't hear the thud, but saw the large beast drop forward like a brick once the arrow pierced through its skull. He noticed the two heads of Raven and the woman turn to him. He nodded his welcome, motioning for them to move back behind the lines, which were beginning to close down on the demons as the rangers whittled them down. The square of people grew smaller and smaller, the demons growing fewer and fewer. Orion remained where he was, firing hell down upon the enemy until he ran out of arrows. Twenty minutes passed before all was finished.

The center square was covered in rapidly decaying demon bodies, the black blood covering everyone. It seemed as if they were engulfed in darkness. Orion made his way down the tree, ignoring the stares he was receiving, unaware of the importance of the role he played in saving everyone. Even the guardians viewed him with respect, watching him as he passed. He just wanted to know that Raven was okay. He made his way through the people, finally finding Raven, accompanied by the dark haired woman. He took a deep breath, jogging the last bit to embrace Raven in a tight hug, lifting her off the ground, unaware who the person next to her was. "I'm so glad you're alright." He stated, a gleam in his eyes as he looked into her, finally noticing the awkward look about her. He looked at the woman next to her, his arms still around her daughter's hips. He looked back at Raven, and back at the woman, connecting the dots as he noticed their facial similarities. "Shite, i'm sorry. My name's Orion Touré m'am, it's a pleasure to meet you." He muttered the first word under his breath, bowing to her. His face was turning red hot, his embarrassment obvious.

Everything happened before Raven even knew what was going on. Guardian members were swarming the demons and in a blink of an eye...everyone of the demons were slain...most by her mother's blades. Having to be helped up by a random Guardian, the bird turned her wide and beady blue eyes to stare up at the Crow before her. "What...are you...doing here?" Raven asked quietly, a hint of anger in the slightest of her tone as she spoke up to the woman of short black hair. Dark blue eyes gazed upon her, making the strong raven coil in retreat before being answered. "What? It is my job to protect people from demons...I'm only doing my job and just stopped in to save you...you should have been more careful, Raven." Her mother cawed, no hostility in the woman's voice as she spoke. Before Raven could even think about using her blades against her mother, warm and tight arms around around her waist and was lifting her off of the ground. Not hugging Orion back or responding to him as her mother's eyes basically bore into her soul, setting it aflame. The timid bird held up a hand towards her mother, introducing her to Orion. "Mother...this is Orion...Orion...my mother. Crow." The bird gestured towards the bird of death, closing her eyes as her mother's blades made a tight scraping sound as she replaced the steel swords back into their sheaths.

Flinching ever so slightly as her mother spoke up one last time, "Raven...I did not send you here to fool around with the male's. Especially...one from the Shadow Lands. You've disappointed me, Raven. I shall wish for your things and you'll be rejoining me at the base." Her mother's sharp tone rattled the raven's bones, making her feather of purple hair tremble. She could hear softly her mother's boots begin to walk away and her heart was stopping...stopping...until finally, it was pounding like a drum. Her blood boiled with rage, seeming to drip poison from her wings as she gripped the hilt's of her sword so tight, her fingers began to bleed. Turning around, the timid bird no more opened her mouth to let a string of words go that she should have said a long time ago. "No!" Raven cried, opening dark blue eyes to stare at the stopped figure of her mother in the wake of decomposing demon bodies. "You can't control me, mother! I am not some toy of yours like the rest of these soldiers! I'm your daughter! Whether you accept that or not, I still am! I will no longer be your puppet to dance around for your amusement." The bird finally spoke up her true feelings, chest rising and falling with the quick and angry breaths she took. "I'm not fooling around here. I'm actually being a teenager for once instead of a child prodigy. Yes, I have fooled around a bit but I am at the top of the class both in strength and knowledge. I'm not yours anymore, mother...I'm letting go! You're not removing me from this school...if you do...you'll have to kill me to leave my friend's sides." Raven stated as she stood tall, hands grasping the hilt of her katana's roughly as she stared at the back of her mother. Long blue scarf waving in the chilling breeze of the afternoon, short hair caressing the songs of the wind. That was it...all she had to say and yet her mother didn't turn around...didn't even look at her daughter before she was stepping forward and moving on to check the damages of the school and it's children.

Dropping her swords, the bird stared down at the ground for a long time before she lifted her cerulean eyes to glance at Orion. "I let go...thanks, Orion." She whispered sweetly, eyes closing as she smiled a sweet smile, the hints or small tears at the corners of her eyes; begging to be set free of their eyelashed prison.

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion flinched at her mother's initial statement, "One from the Shadow Lands" His eyes narrowed as he returned to his full stature, barely able to refrain from spitting venom at the woman. He was used to the brash and immediate judgements, it was something he faced ever since returning. But, it didn't feel particularly good when it was Raven's mother who was doing it. Even more surprising was her mother's commands after that, treating Raven like she was a small child. Orion realized this was the archetypal example of the two bird's relationship. Her mother ordering her around, expecting perfection and complete obedience from Raven. He watched as her mother tuned on her heels, walking away, her feet sounding like drums. Orion looked at Raven, his eyes full of anxiety. Was she actually going to leave?

Orion smiled at Raven's outburst, putting a hand to his mouth as she spoke, her mother's back still turned to her. He felt an overwhelming sense of pride for Raven, the bird who was finally standing up for herself. He blushed lightly at her mention of fooling around, raising his eyes at her final statement. The moment was tense, her mother's back muscles taut, flexing slightly before she continued to walk, as if she never even heard her daughter. Orion let the silence hang as Raven dropped her swords, her eyes downcast.

Eventually, the girls eyes raised to meet his. Orion smiled as she spoke, his sharp cuspids standing out from the rest of his smile His aqua blue eyes watched her as she smiled, his hands grabbing hers. He squeezed her hands, kissing her forehead softly before nodding. "No need to thank me, that was all you." He shook a little bit, just now realizing how covered in demon blood. "How about we go back to the dorm, get ourselves clean. We can just watch scary movies or read together in your room." He suggested, shrugging his shoulders, keeping his left hand in her right as he looked at her, waiting for a reply.

Chuckling softly as his fingers laced with her own shaky, bloody fingers before his lips were melting onto her forehead. Giving off of a soft sigh, the girl nodded her head sheepishly before giving his hand a squeeze. "Yeah...a nice and hot shower sounds wonderful...and maybe a cup of hot chocolate and a comedy, romantic movie would be far better than a horror one...with all the things that happened today." Raven teased with another sigh before she bent down, letting go of his hand, and picking up her sterling blades; only to replace them in her sheaths. Turning to Orion, she gave a short nod before her fingers slipped back into his...the first time in awhile since she had taken his hand. Locking their fingers, the girl let out a heavy breath as if she had been holding it for hours...as if something heavy and huge was lifted from her chest. Beginning to haul her feet towards the dorm building, it seemed like ages before they were pushing past Guardians and moving without hesitation towards their dorm. Hearing cheers and whistles for the two since they both had risked their lives to save everyone they were being raised up for their brave actions.

Waving slightly as she shoved through the crowds of people and Guardian's alike, her cerulean eyes bright as she honored Orion and herself for risking so much. After what seemed like endless crowds and cheers, the bird and the boy made their way through the dorm room; after Raven had shoved open the door the black bird stood for a moment with her eyes on the ground. Purple hair falling effortlessly around her shoulders and neck, giving her blue eyes an even brighter look. Letting go of Orion's hand after he shut the door, her hand raised to cover part of her face as a small sob wracked her body. "She's still going to remove me...no matter what I said...she's still going to pull me out of the school...I might as well just start packing now." Raven gave a short sob as tears trailed down her cheeks. Her violet head shaking back and forth as her delicate hand gripped her face to keep herself from punching something.

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion chuckled lightly as Raven suggested a comedic or romantic movie as opposed to a horror one, his hands running through his snow white hair, the light of the sun giving it an aqua tint. His eyes watched the bird as she sheathed her swords, his cheeks dusting red as she laced her fingers inbetween his, the warmth of her hand making him take a deep breath of relief, as if he had never been okay until this moment, his hand in hers. The blush deepened as the crowds they weaved through began to cheer for them, their hands clapping and their praises echoing through the center square they occupied. Orion's eyes were downcast, uncomfortable with the amount of attention he was receiving. "She has to deal with this constantly." Orion thought to himself, stealing a glance at Raven, her head high and her cerulean eyes full of honor and pride. He felt an overbearing sense of admiration for the woman as she led them through the dorm house doors, the sound of the crowd fading, only to be replaced by their hollow footsteps against the old wooden floor. The crowds appeared again after a short time, opening dorm room doors and appearing out of nooks and crannies of the building.

Orion gave a sigh of relief as they finally arrived at their dorm room, his back thudding against the door as his eyes flicked to Raven, her hand to her head. Her words were like a blade as they cut through the air, her sobs filling the dorm room. Orion's eyes narrowed as he pushed himself off of the door, his arms lacing themselves around her back, pulling her into him tightly. "If she does, she does. If she doesn't, she doesn't. Regardless, worrying about it right now will do nothing more then ruin what might be our last night together. Let's just get cleaned up and enjoy ourselves, Raven." His eyes gleamed comfortingly as her head sunk into his shoulder, and hers to his. His hand brushed her back soothingly as she cried. He was worried her mother would pull her, but he realized the futility of worrying about it. For right now, he just wanted to be with Raven, he wanted this night with Raven, regardless of what happened tomorrow.

It was so unlike her, so unlike an Xavier to be crying in front of someone else. Tears clung to her pale cheeks like glue, making them hard to wipe away. Even if she didn't want to cry...the bird was having it's wings ripped right off, so she just let it happen. Smooth arms wrapped around her waist and she pulled into a soft embrace, hardly noticing until her head came to rest upon the male's shoulder. He was right...Raven couldn't just stand there and sob about her leaving...even if her mother took her out of the school, crying over it wouldn't change anything. Wiping away the trails of tears, the bird tilted her head only to allow herself to breathe but didn't move any farther than that. She shouldn't be crying about this silly little thing...it hadn't even been a month since her arrival at Jay and yet...it felt more like a home than her actual home. Wrapping her arms around Orion's shoulder, Raven pulled him in tighter to her body, their bodies fitting perfectly together; almost like puzzle pieces would. Her nose dug into his neck, the smell of sweat and dust clingy to his skin; giving him an intoxicating smell to the bird. Taking in a deep breath, Raven let the soft air of hiccups loose from her throat before she finally parted her lips to speak. "I know...I shouldn't be crying over such a thing as this but Orion...I..." The timid creature found herself trailing off, her cerulean eyes closing as she tried to put her little fluttering bundle of nerves into words. "I'm only worrying because I...I don't want to leave you!" The girl cried out softly, a whole new set of tears welling up into her eyes. Stepping back the girl turned her head away from Orion, casting her gaze down at the floor beneath her feet. "I've never had the chance to actually be a teenager before...I've never gotten the luxury of having friends, teammates, an actual crush...all I've ever known is killing. Coming to this school...my eyes have seen so many truths that I had never dared speak of before! I don't want to leave this school, and I most certainly don't want to leave a person who I truly care about behind! I don't want to leave you, Orion!" Raven squeaked out as she let softer tears fall from her eyes, raising a hand to try to stop the selfish tears. That's all she ever was...selfish. She didn't want to leave because of her feelings...not the one's of Orion's or the other friend's she's made...only on her own selfish desires.

Raven took in a gulp of air, her bottom lip trembling as she brought her beady, cerulean gaze to stare at Orion. Time slowed down between the two as her lips moved to speak again...but no words sounded from her as a last strand of the tiny bird's heart passed her lips, mouthing the soft words. "Because...I think I love you..."

    Ooc:
Ic: Orion felt Raven slip from his arms as she spoke, her voice shaky as tears trailed down her face. He felt a pang of sadness as she sobbed, her heart pouring from her mouth as he watched her. He understood where she came from, but he did what she did out of choice. He didn't particularly enjoy people, but Raven never had the liberty to discover as to whether she did or not. And the moment she did have the liberty to, her mother was stripping it away from her. He blushed deeply as she stated she didn't want to leave him, her cerulean gaze flicking back up towards him as she talked, her eyes especially vibrant due to the tears. He watched on with sadness in his eyes, the bird wiping tears from her cheeks.

Suddenly, the tension in the room grew. Time slowed down as Raven's eyes met his, her violet hair flowing flawlessly down her shoulders in luxurious waves. Her figure was perfect as her soft lips mouthed the words that caused Orion to melt. His face turned a deep red as she mouthed, "I love you." his ears began to rang, his heart beat so hard it felt like it felt like it would burst from his chest. Before he could think of what he was doing, he was stepping towards Raven, his hands grabbing her face as he pulled her in towards his. Stars exploded in his eyes as her full lips clashed against his, his tongue sliding into her mouth in a passionate kiss. He felt her breathing as he pressed his chest against her breasts, his body dangerously close to his. He held rhythm for what seemed like ever before finally pulling back to make eye contact with her, her cerulean eyes gleaming. "I love you too, Raven." The words rolled perfectly off his tongue, his lilting Irish accent ever so seducing. He moved to kiss her again, putting his arms around her back, her breasts now pressed against his chest as his groin began to grind against her thigh. Orion could hardly think, he was losing himself in Raven. Despite the battle, Raven still smelled sweet, a scent of cherry blossoms fusing with dust and sweat creating an insatiable desire within Orion. He thought about stopping himself, but not this time. He wanted her too badly, he was too in love with the girl before him too stop. He moaned lightly as he bit her lip, staring seductively into her eyes as if signalling how far he wanted to go.

It was as if time had slowed down for the two, just for the both of them. Orion moved like a puppet on strings as his feet shuffled towards the bird, hands lifted up to caress her face before their lips were forced against each other like some invisible force. Her skin heated at his touch, feeling his fingertips dance over her bare skin like a ghost. Their bodies slamming together to roughly fir like puzzle pieces again, her breasts pressed hard against Orion's lean, steel chest. Her breath left her as their kiss intensified, their tongues colliding like two hot dancers synchronizing in their beautiful art. The girl's head was spinning as things picked up, a cool hand raking up the side of her waist to meet the curve of her shoulder and neck. Breaking the kiss with a heavy moan, Raven felt all her sadness wash down the unknown abyss and dark drain, leaving only a swirling mass of happiness on her heart. Hearing his soft words echo throughout her head, the timid bird felt relieved that she hadn't been rejected for the embarrassing statement she had made. Having her heart poured out in front of the boy and having him return them was amazing...her shoulders were light, skin hot, and heart beating as hard as a drum but none of that matter to her now.

The only thing that mattered as of right now was how far the bird was willing to have her feelings put into action.

Feeling Orion's strength against her body once again, his slow erection rubbing her inner thigh; making the girl even hotter. Their lips entwined yet again in a hot, passionate kiss as Orion's sweet fingers trailed along the small part of her back. Everything was happening so fast, even the lustful look Orion was giving the bird before she was being scooped up, like ice cream, and dipped back sweetly against the couch. Feeling the soft breeze before falling onto the couch, Raven stared up at Orion with a seductive look. Her hair fanned out behind her, a heavy blush dusted her cheeks, her skirt was lifted up so her bare, inner thigh showed cleanly for the male hovering above her. Her jacket off of her shoulders and her shirt slightly unbuttoned, showing off the beautiful gleam of her mid-stomach. The bird gently bite down on her bottom lip, chewing at it in a seductive way before she held out her hand for Orion. "It's okay...I'm ready...when you are, Orion." The bird cawed in her heavy British accent, rolling off her tongue like sweet, sweet honey. Her thighs rubbed together as she tried to contain the moisture slowly growing between her legs, her hand held out for him while the other slowly began to push up her white shirt, showing off more skin. Her cerulean eyes sparking brightly with the shimmer of un-shed tears that lay behind the barrier, holding them back as she waited for Orion to accept her offer, still laying in her erotic position. Ooc:
Ic: Orion moaned as their lips meshed against each other, Raven's hot breath creating an erotic sensation on the surface of his skin. His fingers traced her bare back as his tongue slid slyly in her mouth. In one swift motion, Orion scooped her up as if she weighed nothing, dipping her onto the couch, her skirt flying up to reveal her inner thighs. He stood over her, her cerulean eyes staring at him expectantly as she pulled her skirt up more, inviting him to continue. He breathed deeply as she spoke, her hand suddenly extending towards him. In moments Orion had his shirt and shoes off, nodding slightly as he took her hand. Her creamy thighs rubbed together, the moisture of her inner thighs evident. Her toned stomach was exposed as he slowly prowled over her like a tiger, his aqua grey eyes incapable of getting enough of the bird. In a moment's notice, his lips found hers again, but much more sloppy than before. His fingers moved from her hand to her shirt, undoing the buttons of her shirt. His lips roamed her upper torso, kissing her collar bones as he took her shirt off of her, her bra barely able to hold her perfect breasts. He grabbed her by the hips lifting her into his groin so that he could take off her bra. He did so quickly, a blush forming on his face as Raven's breasts became exposed. With a shaky breath, his hands traced from her hips to her breasts, his fingers finding her pink nipples. They began to harden under his touch. His mouth moved down from her collar bones to her breasts, his lips wrapping themselves around her nipple. He heard her moan as he sucked, his erection throbbing against the bottom of her stomach. He began to grind on top of her, his shaft bulging through his tight pants as his hands ran through her violet hair. Timidly, he moved a hand downwards, flicking her skirt completely up so her panties were completely exposed. He let out a moan as he realized she was already wet, his hand finding the silky fabric of her undergarments. He began to rub, feeling her moisture on his fingers as her thighs shuddered. He moaned, fingers slipping past the fabric, suddenly enveloped by Raven as she penetrated her.
