Ooc:
Ic: Orion's eyebrows raised at Raven as her pace slowed, her hand moving to the hilt of her sword as her face twisted momentarily with rage and hurt. Yet again, he felt another pang of guilt pierce his stomach. The more he thought about it, the more he felt he was in the wrong. His intentions were good, he wanted to preserve what they had and he wanted his first time to be special. He was afraid them making love on the first night they also revealed their feelings to one another would extinguish their connection. Frankly, Orion was worried Raven would end up not liking him, he was worried that for some reason they wouldn't work out. His eyes narrowed in guilt as she continued, expressing how she felt about last night. He hadn't meant to drop her like he did, and it certainly wasn't done with the motive Raven thought it was done with. Her sandals clicked through the halls as they neared the exit. "What's there to talk about? Let's talk about the misunderstanding that's present." He replied, his eyes fixating on the side of her face as he picked his pace up as well. "I dropped you out of fear, Raven." He stopped walking, his voice turning much more serious than it was before. "I've been living with an overwhelming sense of apathy and disinterest since I returned from the Shadowlands. I've been cynical, I've been disconnected from people. But you, you were something different. You were the comforting glow of a match in a blackened cave. I was, I am worried of that match burning out. That's why I did what I did last night, I smothered the match in an attempt to preserve its flame." He spoke, tears forming in his eyes as he spoke, his voice cracking ever so slightly. "I'm sorry I did what I did, but you're the only thing that has woken me from the monotony, and I don't want to lose you. In my time being back from the Shadowlands, you have been the only thing in which I've cared about. I'm sorry Raven, I truly am. I wasn't trying to throw you back into the darkness." Tears began to roll down his face as he spoke, truly afraid of losing what they had. He was pouring himself to her, unsure as to how she'd respond.
