Katrina sat in confusion for a moment, still conjuring her memories. "My....oh..." She face-palmed. "I'm an idiot. Sorry for waking you, Sin." She apologized, sitting up and rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. As if she wasn't embarrassed enough, she realized what had happened previously. She had clung to him, nearly cried, and to top it off, fallen asleep against him. How stupid can I get?!? The brunette thought, her entire face flushed, right to the tips of her ears.

"I was dozing. Do you always blush this much?" Sin asked as her cheeks and entire face became a dark red as he sat up completely. It was amusibg, definitely, but it made him curious about her. He smirked and poked her red cheek teasingly, tossing his dark hair out of his face once more.
-
Katrina swatted at his hand, mumbling something under her breath. "W-why does it matter?" She asked defensively, trying to force the scarlet from her face, but failing miserably. "Do you alway tease this much?" Okay it was admittedly a lame comeback, but alongside having just woken up, she felt much too hot by now, and her mind was too fuzzy for mocking.
-
"No." Sin said with a shrug as he noticed her disoriented state, a grin pulling on his lips. "I tease more than this usually." He rimbled as he got up and stretched, his bones popping and cracking as he stood. He reached up toxa cabinent and drew down a huge water jug, finding a tall shabby cup and carefully pouring water into it." Here. You'te dehydrated from blood loss." He said as he kept the water out and handed her the cup.
-
"I guess I'm lucky then." Katrina huffed, smirking slightly at his response. "Oh. Thanks." She gratefully took the glass, immediately taking a drink. After a few minutes, she looked up at the male before her. "So...uh...if you wouldn't mind, why don't you tell me about yourself." She suggested. It wasn't like they were going anywhere anytime soon, so might as well share stories.
-
Sin remainex standing, as he felt restless and wary. "Me? Theres not much to tell. I'm just a guy stuck in the zombie eat human world. Before that, I lived in an abusive family, got bullied often, but I struggled through it and tried to ignore it. I worked out as much as I could and often had to beg friends to let me have some of their food. Thats pretty much it." Sin said with another shrug of his broad shoulders, not meeting Kats gaze.
-
Katrina's eyes had widened during his story. His life had been more difficult than she expected from someone so nice. "I'm....sorry to hear that. I guess this situation is a cake walk for you then, huh?" It wasn't really a joke, and she hoped he wouldn't take it as one. Something like this hardly compared to being abused by your own family. Although, what did she know about families? She had never known hers personally, or even seen them in person.
-
"Kind of. Seeing my friends become these monsters is hard. And I wanted to be a doctor, but thats not going to happen any time soon." Sin said bitterly as he finally sat down, right in front of her. "What was your life like?" He asked as he propped his chin on his palms, his eyes emotionless.
-
Katrina winced slightly. She had hoped he wouldn't really care about her life. Not that there was much to tell, but she didn't want him to think she was telling a sob story. "Well....uh....I-it was.....average. Kinda. I grew up in an orphanage....... But that's really it." She lied, taking a long drink of water, as if trying to avoid telling anything more. Though he did deserve to know, the concern previously mentioned still plagued her.
-
"Is it really? You know...I also studied body language. So are you going to tell me?" Sin said calmly as he crossed his arms arcoss his chest calmly. He knew she was lying just by the way she had hesitated, his eyes barrowing. It was true he had studied body language, and he was recieving all the signs that she was lying.
-
Katrina slowly put down the glass, folding her hands in her lap. "Uh....I guess I kind of have to now, don't I?" Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, she replied, honestly this time. "Er..... Well I always fended for myself. Really the only times I was ever acknowledged was when someone caught me trying to sneak out and called the 'warden'. I did manage to escape eventually. I think I was.....twelve??" She mused to herself. "Twelve or thirteen....." Pausing for a second, she chuckled softly. "That was actually the first day I saw what the sky looked like." It was a little off-topic, but she felt it had to be mentioned. She was telling him about her life after all, and it was an important moment for her.
-
Sin listened with his head tilted and jaw clenched tightly. "That should have never happened to you. It must have been torture." He sighed as he sat back, unable to keep still but wanting to hear more about her life.
-
Katrina smiled softly. "Nah. I guess I didn't really mind it as much as I thought I did." She insisted. "I was a quiet kid anyway so it was no surprise that I was ignored. So it's okay." Even she wasn't sure wether it was a lie herself, but she felt she should say it anyways in attempt to make him feel better about it. Though, I would've liked to meet my parents.... It was a sad thought, but she still maintained her small smile.
-
Sin nodded slightly and scootched closer, casually cupping her face in his hands gently. "You're not so quiet anymore. Or alone. You can leave once you're healed if you wish." He rumbled as he rubbed her cheeks gently, straying towards her lips with his thumb. He blinked and pulled back, shaking his head.
-
Katrina's smirk widened ever-so-slightly. "Mmmmnope. I think I'm gonna make you keep tolerating me. Sound good?" She teased lightly, trying to get onto a better subject. As soon as it happened, she knew it was a terrible idea to ask such a question. As much as she enjoyed playing around with him, she now had the feeling she should tread lightly.
-
"Sounds brilliant. You might run away the first day though." Sin teased back as he tilfted his head and smirked, copying her exact movements and position to piss her off or disturb her. He had a feeling that he would leave the first day instead of her, as he could tell she was good at poking and prodding buttons.
OOC: So sorry for my short posts!
-
OOC: No no don't worry! Thanks for sticking with me still! I know my posts often kinda suck :P besides, I'm on my phone so they look long to me xD
IC: Katrina stuck her tongue out at him childishly, realizing what he was doing. "Copycat!" She declared with a girlish giggle. Yes. She definitely wanted to stay, though prayed he wouldn't mind it. She was well aware how annoying she could be, but he seemed to be fairly okay with it this far.
-
OOC: Haha I know how you feel XD
Sin chuckled softly and sat back then stood, ruffling her hair like a big brother to a little sister would. "Stay here. I'm going out for a bit to get more food." He explained as he grabbed his pack, emotying it before he headed towards the ladder.
-
OOC:

IC: Katrina stiffened as he did so, but relaxed as soon as he stopped. She was about to protest when he began to leave, but what could she say? He had gone out alone before, and it wasn't like she could walk with him. "Okay...." She finally mumbled, cursing herself for being such an invalid.
-
Sin smirked and headed up the ladder, disappearing within seconds. He shut the trap door quietly and dashed to another building, muscles taught as he pulled out a dagger. He strode swiftly through the shadows, heading ro the same store as before. There was plenty of food there for him and Kat now. He rummaged through the food and packed it quickly, tensing as he heard a shuffling. Looking up, he was bowled over by a dog, a rather big German Shepard at that. He huffed and grappled its neck, keeping it from snapping at him, as he knew it was infected. He winced as he rolled over brojen glass, gripping its neck tightky and quickly snapping it. He rolled the dog off him and headed back, pulling the glass out of his bacj.
