  • Feeling strangely compelled to say 'no', Katrina sat there for a few shorts moments, then shook her head slowly. "No. Please don't leave." She whispered, almost inaudibly. She hated showing weakness, but there was no way she could make it home on her own. After another brief pause, without any thought she added, "Don't leave me alone....." Taking whatever internal strength that remained, she focused it on fighting back the tears that welled in her downcast eyes.

OOC: It's cool! I'm headed back to school in a few weeks myself so I get it ^_^

  • Sin raised an eyebrow as she spoke, hearing the desperation in her voice. He held back a smart remark as he saw a glimmer of tears in her eyes, instead sliding his arms aroubd her and picking her up. She was a lot lighter than she looked, so it made it much easier. "I won't. I'm going to have to take you to my shelter. Luckily, I have needle and thread there." He said soothingly s he started walking, careful not to jostle her leg. There would definitely be a scar and Sin wasn't too sure if she would have a limp or not, but he wasn't positive about it.

  • Katrina gently clutched to the fabric of his shirt. She was silent for a long while, before muttering a soft, "Thank you." And going silent. Many times as he walked, she had almost fallen asleep, but was immediately brought back to consciousness by the sharp pain of her wound. Each reminder caused her to choke a tiny whimper, and hold just a little tighter to Sin.

  • Sin clenched his jaw tightlt as she clung to his shirt, automatically hooding her closer to his solid chest. He paused before nudging a door open, eyes narrowex as he headed through the crumbling building. He crouched and used a free hand to pull at a rug, opening a trap door underneath it. He slowly lowered himself in the cellar, careful not to bunp her.

  • Katrina blinked a few times, realizing something important. "I don't.....know your name...." She murmured, still clinging to him as he descended. By this point, she felt a little awkward for not asking sooner. In fact, she still hadn't asked. "So...uh....what is your name?" She added, still barely above a whisper.

  • "Hm? Oh you can just call me Sin. Everyone used to." Sin said with a shrug of his shoulders as she reached the bottom, carefully setting her down so he could shut the trap door. Once he did, he easily found a switch and flipped it, low lights flooding the entire room. There wasn't much, just a cot and a sleeping bag with a pillow and clothed piled in the corner. He pack was currently on the bed so he moved it, swinging her from the ground to the cot without jostling her leg. "Alright. I'm sure theres a needle and thread around here somewhere. Whats your name, by the way?" He asked as he searched his room calmly.

  • "Alright. Sin it is then." The brunette managed a weak smile at him as he searched. Hearing the question for herself, she answered with, "Katrina. But call me Kat if you'd like." Normally she hated being called the shortened version of her name, but she wasn't going to give him a chance to come up with a dumb nickname, so Kat it would have to be.

  • "Why not Kitty?" Sin teased as he pulled a spool of thread with a needle stuck in it. He kept searching however, finding an unopened bottle of pure alcohol, glancing at Katrina. He approached her and pulled yhe wrap around her cut off, pressing his lips together tightly. "This is going to hurt like hell, so keep quiet." He rumbled as he suddenly poured the alcohol into her cut, sterilizing it properly.

  • Katrina rolled her eyes. "Either or, doesn't matter I guess." She replied with a small smirk. Nodding to his comment, she pulled her good out in front of her face and bit down hard. In a normal situation, she would have cussed and yelled and sobbed, but being where the were, she was aware that it would be a horrible idea to do so. And so, as an alternative, she squeezed her eyes shut, while nearly putting holes in the hood of her sweater.

  • Sin clenched his jaw and stopped dumping the alcohol on her deep cut, checking it once more. The blood had been washed away and he could see it clearly now. It was deep but not dangerously so. A few stitches would do. "I'm going to start stitching your leg. Its going to hurt much less and feel really weird." He warned as he sterilized the needle as well, cupping her leg where he needed to as he peirced her skin to start sewing the cut shut.

  • Katrina was gradually able to calm down, actually turning to watch him as he worked. Compared to the first part of the process, this dull sting amounted to that of being hit with a pillow. Well.... Maybe that was a little bit of an overreaction......but it still felt better. In the past few minutes, the brunette had decided she could trust Sin, and maybe even grow to enjoy his company.

  • Sin sighed softly as she relaxed a bit, anle to work much better as he tugged the last knot and broke the string. "Five sstitches. Impressive for a fence." He rumbled sarcastically with a grin as he stepped back and sat down, his multi colored optics watchin her curiously. She looked like she was about to cry and he hated it when people cried, as it made him feel like he couldn't do anything for him. Hesitantky, Sin reached out and cupped her cheek, his thumb stroking her cheek gently. "Kitty, please don't ever cry." He said softly, his voice uncharcteristacally gentle.

  • Katrina couldn't hide the shock that appeared on her face. He just touched her. Just like that, as if they'd know each other forever. Whatever tears had been waiting, we're suddenly gone. As soon as they were, she managed to smirk over at him. "Ever? Well I dunno if I can promise that." She teased lightly, though realized he was being serious. "But I'll try." She added and, without thinking, reached up to put her significantly smaller hand over his own.

  • Sin could see the shock on her face and it made him smirk in return, almost knowing she would say something to tease him. As soon as she did, a smile tugged at his lips before disappearing just as fast as it had appeared. He blinked as she rested her smaller hand over his, his smirk growing bigger. "You have really small hands Kitty. I guess the name does fit you." He teased gently as he slowly pulled his hand away from her face.

  • Katrina squeaked in protest at his comment, hiding her hands in her pockets and turning away with a childish pout. "I do NOT! Yours are just really big!" She shot back, a deep blush evident on her pale face. At this point, she couldn't even feel the pain left by her wound, she was to distracted with being embarrassed. "Jerk." She grumbled under her breath, shoving her hands deeper into the pockets of her hoodie.

  • Sin burst out into deep, rumbling laughter as she squeaked in protest, his sides shaking with his laughter. He covered his face, unable to stop laughing as she spoke. To hear protesr come from such a sassy girl was hilarious and also adorable in a way. Sin shook his head and managed to control himself, resting his hands in his lap as he gazed at her. Her cheeks were a deep red and it made him smirk even more.

  • As she sat there silently, Katrina was hit with unexpected exhaustion. Between the heat of her cheeks, and blood loss from earlier, calming down like this made her vision go white. Not bothering to try and fight it, she allowed herself to slip out of conciousness. Her limp body fell lightly against Sin's shoulder while she slept, which she would probably feel awkward for when she woke.

  • Sin blinked as she slumped against him, shaking his head slightly. He moved carefully so he wouldn't wake her, setting her down on the cot and and covering her with the sleeping bag. Sin stood and stepped away, stretching out on the ground as he rested his arms behinf his head and closing his eyed.

  • ~A few hours later :3~

Katrina reached up to rub her eyes, using her free arm to assist her in sitting up. For a moment she forgot where she was, or even what had happened, and threw her legs off the side of the cot to stand and take a look around. No sooner had she took a single step, her injured leg gave way and she stumbled forward, narrowly missing Sin as she fell.

OOC: Dunno if you'll find this as funny as I did, but you really gotta watch this xD:

  • "What do you think you're doing?" Sin spoke with his eyes closed, as he heard her fall next to him. He was dozing but could hear everything when he slept, no matter how deeply. He slowly opened one eye to gaze at her, his face emotionless. "You really shouldn't be walking. It'll tear your stitches out and open your cut again." He said smoothly as he propped himself up stiffly, his back groaning with protest at the hard ground.
