Teresa stopped. Jennifer Holly Peterson. Of course! She had heard that name before. The Doctor's companion, as the girl had just clarified. Tess sunk back into a memory, her mother reading a newspaper article to her. This was just after the Doctor died, right before the world fell apart. Tess had visited her mother for her 53rd birthday, and soon they found themselves all huddled around a newspaper, reading about the Doctor's death. The name of the Doctor's companion had been mentioned, but only to say that if anyone knew her to comfort her. Tess flashed back to the present. She held out her hand for Jennifer to come in, feeling honored to be in the presence of the Doctor's last friend.
The end of time (open 2 slots left) and those left behind...

Jennifer smiling slightly at the sight of a welcoming hand behind the man with a weapon. She hurried inside the warehouse and set her book-pack down. It wasn't meant to be a traveling pack, but she used it to carry around a few helpful supplies. The young adult leaned against the wall, "How long have you guys been staying here?" She asked with interest. Some people have given up on leaving their homes, but the group of people that she found seemed to have traveled from different areas.

"I've only been here for tonight," Teresa answered her. She pointed at Felix. "After Felix rescued me from an evil ood." She began to introduce herself. "I am Teresa Smith. It is an honor to meet the Doctor's former companion face to face." Teresa smiled at her, until concern filled her brown eyes. "This must be hard for you. Come, sit down...somewhere."

"Well...ain't this just a big time travel party. I'm Felix. Sorry about the knife...you never know these days..." Sheathing the knife in his pocket, he began to focus on closing the door. The heavy metal door creaked in protest, but finally shut with a thud. Felix turned, wow, three girls and one guy. In any other scenario of the apocalypse he'd have other plans.

"It was hard... still is," Jennifer forced a smile as she sat down near Teresa.
She didn't really look at anything specifically as she went on, "I was pretty close to him even if I only knew him for a week or two." She barely realized that she was fingering a small rope necklace which held a key."The TARDIS key?" I asked as my hand turned it over.
The man smiled, "I thought that you deserved one by now."
"I'm glad that you think that," I placed the rope that held the key around my neck, "I promise that no one else will get their hands on it."The young adult shook her head slightly as she put the key into hiding once more. She glanced back at the others.
"To admit the truth," she sighed slightly, "I believe that he knew that he would die. The last thing he said to me was to not give up. I questioned it, but he never told me anything else about it. Now look at me... Wondering the planet and trying to image what he would want me to do to help out."[/fancypost]
