I was actually on the other side of the universe at the time. I just woke up as a female sometime a week or two ago, but I'm still the same Doctor. Anyways... You guys ready to start the role-play?

  • So...

On her own. That's what she was - on her own. Against...everything. She just had to keep on hiding in the narrow alleyway, away from the evil ood. She was very scared...so she told herself a story from a memory. A story about the Doctor, how he had saved the world countless times, even when breaking the hearts of others, like Teresa's grandmother who had loved him. The Doctor was always there when things looked bad for Earth...
...and now he was dead. Now Teresa was alone, without her secret hero.

    OCC:

    We role-play on this one.
And Jadence, I noticed that you had a thread that you needed a tenth Doctor. Might if I role-play him (just saying now that I didn't get to meet Clara yet, so I'll try my best)?

Abandoned streets and houses seemed to be endless as Jennifer walked cautiously. It was mostly silent since The Doctor died and there was nothing else that could protect the planet in his place. There was an occasional scream in the distance, but even that was getting rare. She noticed a burned stuffed animal on the ground.

"Have you seen my mommy?" A small girl asked with hopeful eyes.
I smiled slightly, "I don't think so. But I'm sure that we can find her."
"I heard what she said to daddy," the girl didn't look afraid.
My smile started to fade, "What did she say?"
"She said that no-one will save us," the girl answered, "Heroes don't exist anymore."
I tried to smile again, "They still exist. They're just waiting for the right time."

  • Felix slumbered by the door of the massive, sage warehouse, his dark, blue eyes glazed over with exhaustion. He hadn't slept in three days, and it was certainly taking its toll on the former soldier. Shaking his head ever so slowly, Felix Kimball peeked his head outside the massive sliding door, brown, curly hair falling in front of his face.

Outside, the streets were deserted, broken down cars littering the sidewalks here and there, but other than that, nothing. After the Doctor had...well...now that he wasn't around, everything had fallen apart. Felix exhaled slowly, closing his tired eyes, yesterday was history... History. It was a funny word now. History had meant nothing to The Doctor, and nothing to anyone who had known him...

  • Teresa tried her best to hold her breath, not daring to make a sound, should the evil ood hear her. She could hear it though, walking and searching very carefully. Tess was pretty much stuck. There was no Doctor to save her, only shadows. It wouldn't be long before she was cornered by the ood and feel its orb press against her head, killing her with an electric shock. Dear God, send someone to save me. Someone. Anyone. Even a bum!

  • Felix slowly rose from his sitting position. It had been a glow to shake the former soldier from his state of exhaustion. The glow of an ood orb. Usually they didn't stay around in one place unless they were looking for something. Something to kill. Something human. Clenching his hands around his combat knife, the soldier rose, staying to the shadows as he slid through the doomsday town.

Crouching down, Felix moved silently, entering another house and whirling behind the door. It was right there. Holding his breath, he lunged forwards, the creature gave a gurgle as the knife slid neatly into its neck, silencing it forever. Keeping one hand holding his arm down, Felix pushed the ood to the ground, and watched it die.

  • Tess stared wide-eyed as the ood fell to the ground, bleeding and dying. She looked up and saw a man, around her age, with a knife in his hand. Her prayers had been answered. "Thank you so much, sir," she said, taking his hand and shaking it. Her voice was deep with wisdom and kindness.

  • "No problem, miss. You've gotta name with those manners?" His voice sounded slightly rugged, but at the same time, caring. He wore a military uniform that had been scorched, torn, and bloodied, but still maintained its camo. At his side, he sheathed his combat knife, and on his right thigh, sitting with only a few shots left, a magnum.

  • "Teresa. Teresa Smith," she answered. She glanced over at his uniform and military weapons, a look of uncertain surprise entering her eyes. "Is that a UNIT uniform?"

  • Felix smiled slightly, then shook his head, "No. Infantry. United States originally...but I worked with UNIT here and there. The name's Felix Kimball." The soldier averted his gaze down at the now deceased ood, "I feel bad when I kill these ones...the Doctor said their secondary brains were cut away and replaced with an orb to make them more processed... No wonder they went rabid. The lot of them."

  • Tess lit up at the word "Doctor." She knew about the ood - how it wasn't their fault. Part of her wanted to tell them that she was on their side if they gave her the chance, but in this world, it was strictly forbidden to negotiate with the aliens. It would backfire. She cleared her throat and continued. "The reason I asked was because my grandparents worked at UNIT a long time ago. Before they even had kids. They travelled with the Doctor. Always told me stories. Of course, when I came around, they weren't with him anymore." After a pause, Tess asked, "Do you have a...base?"
