  • Luke cringed and immediately reached for his phone, turning off his own music. He couldn't stand when two different sounds happened at the same time. He finished cooking and put the pieces on a plate, walking over to the kitchen table. He set the plate down, before heading back to the stove and turning it off.

  • "You did a good job." Shiloh smiled as he placed the food down. It did look delightful, "Did you sleep alright?" She asked, getting silverware for each of them and placing it beside the pates as she sat down. She let her question linger in the air, they had slept a little bit. She looked up at him with a faint smile, as she lightly cut the corner off her French toast.

  • Luke shrugged softly, sitting down where his plate sat. He started eating, waiting for a moment to respond. "I slept pretty good. I woke up in middle of the night to rain outside, but that was pretty brief." He shrugged softly, looking over the kitchen for a moment before he continued eating.

  • Shiloh nodded, having not woken up, but knowing the feeling, because she used to all the time. It had been five years since Dylan died, but that doesn't just let off a person within a couple of months, especially the person who loved him like he was the world. His parents still called her sometimes, and she still wet out to lunch with his sister, but she was done waking up in the night to cry. "That's good." She said after chewing the bite, "Luke, this is really good." She admired.

  • "It's the only thing I can make besides peanut butter and jelly. Even then sometimes the jelly is too much or the peanut butter is too much..." He shrugged and looked at her for a moment before looking back down at his food. Then, it hit him what he needed to do today. He sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair, also recognizing that he needed to do his hair.

  • "You okay, babe?" Shiloh asked still smiling from his last comment as she watched him fidget with his hair and sigh. She took another bite, happy it was small, because she didn't eat much, she was not much of a person. She checked her phone when she heard it buzz, but it was just Meagan confirming that she could go out. Her blue eyes danced back up to Luke.

  • "I need to go home." Luke told her while looking down at his plate. "I need to feed Bat and Dior, I got Wyatt to do it last night. I probably need to ride Bat some, and start working with Dior more." He shrugged softly, finishing his food. "I don't want to bug Eli, and Wyatt leaves town for a clinic today."

  • "Are you kidding me!?" Shiloh toned it down quickly from her outburst, realizing it was a bit too aggressive, "I'm supposed to be out at the barn, working with my horse, right now, but you made me stay. Need I say, I need to bond with Romeo a lot more than you do with your horse, I'm going on a world tour! You're taking your horse, with you." She stood up, abruptly, "I can't believe- ugh!" She grabbed her phone, getting ready to tell Meagan she didn't have to go, as she found the contact in her phone.

  • Luke looked at her with wide eyes, quickly standing up himself and putting his dishes in the sink. "I was going to get someone else to do it!" He defended himself, clearly not liking her tone. "But goddamn, go ahead and spend time with your horse who is head over heels with you, and will continue to be while you're gone. But me on the other hand, will be here and other places while trying to talk to you whenever I can." He rolled his eyes at her, quickly heading towards the front door.

  • "The nerve you have! I haven't been with my horse for five years!" Shiloh yelled after him, stepping in wake, throwing her hands at her sides and making aggravated fists, "Can't you think, before you just let words fall out of mouth," She followed him all the way to the door, "You can be so thoughtless sometimes." She groaned deeply with a quick sigh, running her fingers through her hair, aggravated, "What is gonna happen when I'm on tour, huh!? I'm so sorry, but I forgot to clean my saddle, I can't come to your show, or anything!" When he finally reached the front door she stood back, ready to watch him leave.

  • okay i have an idea but we kinda already did it so idk

Luke turned around and looked at her with narrowed eyes. "Who says I'm even comings to your shows anymore? God, who knows how you'll react if I show up a couple minutes late!" He said while glaring at her. "Now I can really understand why Chris is the way he is!" He looked at her for another moment before scoffing. "And I'm the one with all the problems." And then he left, striding towards his truck with his keys in his hands.

  • Shiloh slammed the door behind him and let the sound echo through the house, already biting her lip so hard to not say anything else, she didn't have the last word, never wanted it, so nobody could ever say she was the one who ended it. released her lower lip when she realized she had been bleeding. She groaned, so aggravated, as she hit her head against the hall in the hallway, sliding down until she sat on the hard wood floors. She tried to stretch out but just ended up kicking, Chris's boxes, that he had yet to get.

    What was the idea?

  • luke getting in a crash, either minor or serious.

Luke slammed his truck door shut once he got in and started up the large copper colored truck, the truck roaring to life. He soon drove off, not even looking in his rear view mirror as he headed down the driveway. He was one of those guys that needed time to calm down before he could even start to think sensibly.

  • Sure

Shiloh stood up after a couple of minutes of her pissed off growling, and cursing Luke's name. She headed back into the kitchen to clean up her food, not feeling the slightest bit hungry, anymore. She bit her lip, hard as she cleaned their plates, scrubbing every last crumb off until her knuckles were raw and the plates were spotless, but they weren't dirty in the first place. She stood over the sink, catching her breath, knowing she needed to calm down. She found her phone, her lock screen a picture that a photographer had taken at Luke's show, of them hugging in the middle of the arena as Bat stood regally, the one good thing about papparazzi. 'Hey, Meg, don't bother, I'm headed out, anyway.' She texted.

  • Luke drove quickly, not realizing how fast he was going, or the fact that he was heading in the direction of downtown, the same way you go to get to where Shiloh boarded Romeo. He had been driving along sternly until a group of deer jumped out in front of him, causing him to swerve and drive off the road, though the road had no shoulder, and his truck flipped, everything going black as the top of the truck hit the lower grass area.

  • Shiloh jogged upstairs to take a shower and change, figuring she should get to the barn before rush hour, and a hot shower would calm her down a little more. She started running the water, and took off her sleep shirt. She stepped back into the room for a second hearing sirens blaring, as a couple EMS trucks flew past her front gate, headed in the direction of downtown Nashville. She jumped in, for a quick two minute rinse, but was moving a little bit faster, wanting to know what was going on as she got a pair of breeches and dug in her draws for tall socks.

  • Police and Emergency squads soon arrived at the scene, firemen already trying to figure out a way to get Luke out. He was unresponsive, and the policemen were trying to figure out what happened. The firemen and police officers eventually got the driver's door pried open, the emergency squad member's immediately working to get Luke out.

  • Shiloh got dressed quickly, and did a little bit of makeup, just some mascara, and a bebe cream to even her skin tone. She was always psychically ready for paparazzi attacks, just never mentally. She jogged down the stairs wearing a nice fitting tshirt, with a grey hoodie, a pair of black riding pants, with her tall boots. She ran down her front steps and got in her Mercedes, a firetruck and police car also speeding by. She worried for whoever was in the incident, and started up her classy car, messing with the radio before actually pulling out and getting down the road. She hadn't been driving long when she could see the emergency lights flashing ahead. As she got closer she saw a cooper ford, and her heart stopped. She pulled the car into a curb, tears already collecting in her eyes as she recognized the license plate. She fumbled with her seat belt and jumped out, running towards the scene, police officers standing by but she couldn't breathe, "Luke!" She screamed tears running down her face.

  • The police officers walked over to Shiloh, making sure that she wouldn't pass the area they had marked off. "Ma'am, do you know?" One man, Officer Maloney, asked the young woman. It was clear they didn't know either celebrity. The squad members got Luke out and onto a stretcher, stabling his neck quickly. They started moving fast, knowing that there was limited time to get him awake before he slipped into a worse state.

  • Shiloh just cried harder , as the officer stopped her. She let out small cries and wiped her eyes before pointing at the stretcher that was being loaded into the ambulance, "That's Luke Spokane, the love of my life." She answered before having to wipe away more tears as she could no longer see him. She fell on her knees. and hid her face in her hands, not knowing what to do. Why him?
