  • (And she chose a very tactful way of doing it.)

Matthias went under and followed them. He could barely see, since it was so dark, and felt a little trapped, since the exit wasn't very visible but since he knew it was there, he didn't panic.

Levi was lead to a hall with sapphires inlaid in the floor and emerald framed windows. Though the sun was on the other side of the castle, a light seemed to shine through them, making the gems seem to glow. The pillars were a golden colour and carved in intricate patterns, and even some stories. It felt like a safe place to be, and he liked it.

  • (yep...she's all about tactful ;) )
Raven emerged slowly from the water. Just letting her nose go above the surface so she could breath. Once she saw that there were no guards, she swam towards the Tunnels.

  • (I guess that's what makes Raven herself xD She's an interesting character.)

Adelaide sighed and followed. She was thankful she could see perfectly in the dark. Advantages of being a vampire, but the fact that she was still a bit thirsty wasn't helping at all. So therefore she hoped they'd get over with it soon.

  • (xD yep)
Raven finally found the Tunnels. She looked back at the others. "Hold your breath." then she dove under and swam through the Tunnels.

  • Matthias broke the surface as soon as he was out of the tunnel. He took a breath to fill his lungs, though he could have held it longer and swam over water to where Raven was. He started sink sink, until he realised the moving his arms could keep him above water. He nodded and followed Raven through the tunnels, scowling all the while.

Levi was lead to a room with a tall elf at the other end. He had shiny dark hair ending a jaw length and muscular arms. Levi assumed his legs were the same, but he wore loose trousers, so it was hard to tell. He turned and Levi couldn't help but think he was handsome, but he had heard that most elves were. He walked over and introduced himself as the leader of this castle.

  • Adelaide dived and followed. She wasn't very fond of swimming though, it was harder to move around. Holding her breath was an easy task, but the tunnels didn't seemed like a very...clean place. Or a place anyone would want to be in.

  • Once they got to a spot in the Tunnels where the ground rose above the water, she climbed onto land and took in oxygen like normal, no heavy breathing. She walked along the Tunnel, making sure the others were following.

  • Matthias started walking too. He took a deep breath then followed after Raven, squeezing his scarf to get the water out of it. His hair was sodden and falling into his eyes, but he ignored it, as it was hard to see anyway. He was mainly getting around using his other senses, which were extremely strong for his species as they lived in caves.

Levi shook the elf's outstretched hand, and introduced himself, getting the elf's name in return. Akkar. Quite elven. He started asking about the attackers, and Levi felt complied to tell him. Though he didn't know much.

  • Raven lead the way right underneath the dungeons. Then she opened the grate slightly. When she looked at the cages, she was horrified at what she saw. She ducked back in, holding her hand over her mouth, shacking her head.

  • "What is it?" Matthias half whispered, half growled, ducking down next to her. She seemed upset, or at least worried, but Matthias wasn't sure, since he wasn't good with non-dragon emotions, which were quite primal. He slowly turned round, careful not to make noise in case Raven had ducked down to not be seen.

  • "Blood. The person is still alive, but not for long." Adelaide whispered tryign to get past matthias so she could take a better look. It was hard to do that without being sen or making noise though, so she eventually gave up the idea and waited.

  • Raven nodded, then got a look of determination on her face. She knew what she was going to do, but it was very stupid and idiotic. She knew that her plan was written all over her face, so she would have to move quickly in case the others tried to stop her.

  • Matthias vaulted out into the open, and ran towards the cage. He knelt in front of the door, cupped his hands round his mouth, and started melting it with his breath. He eventually got impatient and melted it in a spurt of blue flame, then wrenched the door open. He looked around to make sure no one saw or heard, or was even around, as he hadn't checked before. There was no one, so he called to Raven and Adelaide.

  • "So it is true, dragons do breath fire" Adelaide smiled walking over and opening the door just enough to peek in. She then flung it open and walked in, looking around, since there were no guards in sight.

  • "Not all of them." Matthias told her, getting to his feet. "Certain species, like mine. Same with being able to turn into a 'human' form. I am the only one of my kin who can."
He followed her through the door, and looked around as well. He was starting to sense gems and jewels on the floors above. Not so much down here, but there were still a few. It was obvious that the elves showed their wealth through decoration.

  • Raven walked through the door. She looked at all of the cells with in human speed. Only one of them had anyone in it. She ripped the cell door off of its hinges and looked at the occupant. It was a human. She turned to the others. "How could a human get this far into the castle and still be alive? That other human is probably already dead." she looked back at the injured girl, and shook her head. The human was a young child, and obviously nearing death. She walked up to the girl, and waved her hand over the girl. She smiled, then her eyes slipped closed. She turned to the others. "Elves have the ability to ease creatures close to death. When we do that, the creature feels no pain and slips easily into death." she explained.

  • "I wasn't wondering, but okay." Matthias said, with a wave of his hand, and continued walking past the cell. There wasn't much to see down here, but he was fine with that. He supposed that the royal family would be somewhere easy to check on, since they were important prisoners. Unfortunately, he didn't know his way around at all, and so didn't know where that would be.
"They are probably on a higher floor." Matthias speculated. "I would not trust people in weak metal cages like this." He kicked one to prove his point, and the bar bent slightly.

Levi half-listened to the elf talking. He couldn't help but notice how his hair was shiny. Then he was being asked a question, and he didn't know the answer to it. How should he know where the person who attacked him was? It wasn't like he'd followed them after being traumatised. The elf was shouting now and suddenly his hair wasn't so nice anymore. Levi started to back away.

  • Raven heard shouting from the floors above. Her head snapped up, and she gave the others a silent gesture for them to follow her. She lead the way out of the cell and sprinted up a few flights of stairs. She ran along the shiny marble hallways and hid behind a pillar bordering the entrance to the throne room. She saw the elf who had issued the rebelling int the first place yelling at the humans he had tried to save outside the castle. She sighed; humans were coming to this place more and more often these days.
