Matthias doubted that it was because the place was tainted by evil that he didn't like it. Evil he didn't mind, he suspected that it was the cheeriness that put him off.
"What do you mean the rest will be revealed from there?" He asked. "Isn't this just a simple rescue?"

Raven nodded. "But haven't you had enough experience to know that most simple things end up being more complicated than you first imagined?"
-
"Things can get complicated, but isn't it better when everything is going according to plan?" Adelaide smiled. She wouldn't mind if things weren't as Raven planned, it would just make everything more interesting. And even though she knew the elves couldn't hurt her, this time she was determined to get both Raven and Matthias out of there alive if things went wrong.
-
"And why not tell us now? I mean, you are the weak link in our group." He pointed out, though he was partially procrastinating because he didn't want to turn into his smaller form. He did agree with his point though, since he knew that he could turn back at anytime time and be practically fine, and Adelaide was a vampire, and he knew those were tough.
-
"I don't know what will happen when we get to the safe haven. I can't tell the future. My plan may even burst into flames and laugh at us, so we have to be on guard at all times. Especially in the dungeons. Oh, and I know how my species inside and out. I'm special and different than them. I fight different, think different, even act different. So I may be at a slight advantage." Then she looked towards her home. "Well, lets go."
-
Matthias nodded, then swished his tail and sat, closing his eyes to concentrate. His breathing steadied as he focused his limited, yet higher than normal for a dragon, magic energy.
Levi was walking when he felt a pull, or a tug at his gut. He started following it, passing a group with a singing elf and coming upon a large palace. It was definitely the source of the pull, and he walked up the path to the front door, turning off his iPod and putting it in his coat pocket. He was entranced and didn't notice the elves on guard as he drew closer.
-
Adelaide waited, and watched Matthias. She didn't really liked the fact that he needed to concentrate so much. It was just something she'd never do. Being so vulnerable, even for a short period of time. Even though she couldn't be killed that easily, she didn't enjoy pain.
Someone else was approaching the elven castle, but it wasn't a dangerous species. -
Raven heard a rustling in the trees and turned to watch the human approach the castle. She ran swiftly through the foliage towards him and covered his mouth as she pulled him into the shadows, away from the castle.
-
Matthias slowly started to shrink, until he was in the form of a human adult. He pushed himself up from his kneeling position and scowled. He already felt exposed as his scarf flapped behind him in the slight breeze, as it always did.
"Let us go then, and let it be quick." He mumbled.(Sorry, didn't see your post.)
Levi shrieked as someone pulled him, but the sound was muffled by a hand over his face. He bit hard onto the hand and ran towards the castle, shouting for help and pointing to where he assumed the person who grabbed him was. When he reached the castle, and some guards were going to check, while another asked him what happened, he just stood and took a few shaky breaths before turning his iPod back on and answering the questions he was being asked. -
"We got a small problem, and the plan hasn't even started." Adelaide pointed out, looking towaards the castle where the guards were interogating a human.
-
"Then we should hurry." Matthias said, "Which way is it?"
He looked around, and started to pull them away from the advancing elves with spears. It would do no good to be seen right now. -
Raven went back to the others. Then she lead the way to the water way. "Okay, lets get started while the guards are distracted."
-
Matthias followed, then saw the water and waded in until he was up to his waist. He stood, getting used to the water and absently rubbing the deep blue scales on his cheeks. He looked at their 'way in'.
"How long will we be under water?" He asked, glancing between the two girls and the water way.Levi nodded as an elf asked him if he was okay. He was invited inside, and gratefully accepted, following the elf inside while some others searched for the person who had grabbed him. Unable to find them, they spread out, going to the sides.
-
"I was going to ask that too. "Adelaide answered. She didn't really liked being under water with no way to breathe. It was kind of something she needed to live, like any other living breathing thing out there. Sure, she could hold her breath for about 25-30 minutes, and she was glad she was a vampire.
-
OOC: Sorry about being inactive. A recap?
-
(Sure ^^ Matthias was about to eat Raven, and Adelaide jumped in, and Raven somehow convinced both to help her save her family, so now all 3 are at the castle. )
-
OOC: Alright. Hmm. Where to jump to..
-
(Levi's also going inside since Raven basically attacked him.)
Matthias ducked under the water for a few second then came back up.
"It doesn't look too far, but of course, looks can be deceiving." He mumbled, brushing wet strands of hir out of his eyes. -
(no, Raven was trying to get him away form the castle.)
Raven shrugged. "It gets pretty deep about ten meters in. Lets go." then she dived under and went under the castle wall. -
Adelaide sighed and dived in too, though she wasn't happy about getting her dress wet. She followed after Raven, looking around.
