SPECIFIC LOCATION: Subway
Daniel went up to the counter with Zane and Zoe behind him. "What kinda sandwich do you guys want?'" he asked," make it quick or we'll have to run while eating."
Zane exclaimed," I want turkey!"
Zoe,"me too."

Daniel gave the register man 15 bucks.
register person,"It's 16 dollars."
Zane sneakily took a napkinand turned it into a dollar and put it on the counter," ther you go you-"
Daniel covered his mouth and they rushed outside.
Tanis entered the subway with a bowed head.
Flint and Caramon followed him, the normally grumbling Flint oddly quiet. Caramon, normally excited about eating again, was silent. All of them were missing Tas, oddly enough. The boy was noisy and annoying, and he 'found' lots of peoples things in his pockets, but he was a companion and had become a close friend to them all. Now he was gone and they didn't know where.
Faye watched the kids as they dashed outside Subway. Whatever were they running for? Faye hadn't the slightest idea. She decided to watch them, since they were the most interesting thing at the moment. And, they had happened to catch her eye.
"It's not nice staring at kids, you know?"
Faye jumped, "Dante!" She turned towards him, "It's not nice scaring people, you know?"
Dante shrugged, "Why are you watching them anyways?"
"'Cause, they're the most interesting thing at the moment."
Dante nodded, and rolled his eyes. But he kept them locked on the kids, as well.
Zane swiped his and away from his mouth. "I wasn't gonna cuss. I am aware of my little sister."
Daniel,"Well it looked like you were going too. And anyways you were being too loud. What if a seeker heard us."
Zane," Do what we always do, you'll run like the wind as a cheetah and we'll get a free piggy back ride."
Dante sighed, "Why don't you just go down there and talk to them? We're not going to learn anything sitting up here on this roof. WE won't be able to hear anything they say and they will eventually leave."
Faye shrugged, "I suppose you're right." At that, she jumped off the roof and landed on a flying trash can. She looked up to see if Dante would follow. He did.
As soon as he landed, Faye eased the trash can down and stepped off. Not turning around to see if Dante got off as well, she walked towards the small group.
Daniel," Oh I wish you were the shifter."
Zane," I do shift things."
Zoe tilted her head just slightly,"persons." She pointed to a teenage girl and boy with her index finger.
Daniel and Zane turned to see the teenagers. Daniel then muttered," ah crap...."
Faye sighed, "They seem to have spotted us."
Dante nodded. He waved his hand and gave them a warm smile.
Faye didn't try to be welcoming. She almost always wore a scowl on her face. "I hope they don't run."
"Or try anything foolish." Dante added.
Zane," what's up her but?"
Daniel whispered harshly," shut up. Act normal."
Zane," Haven't ya heard. Weird is the new normal."
Tanis ordered dully, and the other two waited. Once he was finished they all left to see three kids running and a girl in pursuit.
"Think its a seeker?" FLint asked in alarm.
"No." Tanis said thoughtfully. "But come on. We should be there."
Caramon, still eating the sub, nodded. Tanis' talent was very useful. It wasn't as potent as the Sight, but it did tell him things sometimes. He knew better than to doubt it.
Zoe," you and your big mouth brother."
Zane," Hey I'm sorry I didn't think she'd actually herar me, I hope she isn't a seeker."
Daniel," I swear Im gonna buy a muzzle for you, Happy birthday."
Zoe giggled. Zane rolled his eyes," and I'll buy you a saddle next time we get to catch a ride on you when we're being chased."
Daniel," Go morph a car. I hate it when you guys keep riding on me."
Faye called out, "Hello there! Why are you running!?" That defientely wasn't the right thing to say, but she couldn't think of anything better to say. And she just voiced what was on her mind. She wanted to know why they were running. It's not like she was a Seeker or something.
Zoe stopped and turned and smiled at the girl," she not seeker."
Daniel stopped and Zane crashed into him," Zane you better be polite."
Zane,"ok,ok,okay."
They walked back," Well we thought you were seekers,"Daniel explained.
Faye raised an eyebrow, "How do you know we're not?"
Dante punched her in the arm. "Ow! That hurt!"
"Sorry," he shrugged, "but that was not the right thing to say." He held out his hand, "I'm Dante."
Faye held out her hand while using the other one to rub her arm, "I'm Faye."
Zane narrowed his eyes at Faye,"I'm Zane,"he spit on his hand and held it out smirking,"spit shake."
Zoe did a facepalm and Daniel added,"He's hostile with strangers. I'm Daniel," He held out his hand and shaked theirs.
Faye smiled at Zane, "Umm...No thanks."
Dante shrugged, "It is now normal water." He shook Zane's hand. "I love bein' a Changer."
Faye made a face, "I have a hard time believing you."
Zoe,"guys are disgusting."
Zane," Its tha manly shake sis, you wouldn't understand." Zane was getting along with dante more than faye.
Daniel," well it very nice eeting you two but we gotta go before an actual seeker comes."
Faye made another look of pure disgust before asking, "Is that why you were running?"
Dante gave her a look that said, "well duh". He turned towards Daniel and calmly said, "You can come with us, you know?"
OCC: I think I should make a seeker.
Daniel," I don't know, we wouldn't want any seekers chasing you guys."
Zane," why not, we could always splir up if that happens?"
Faye rolled her eyes, "Seekers chase us all the time. They're just too horrible to catch us."
"Whenever we get into fights we tend to always win. And besides, there's a base with more of us there. You'll be safe with us."
Tanis paused. "Isn't that one of Wish's friends?"
"Yeah." Flint said. "Dante, I think it was."
"Right." Caramon said. "Maybe he's seen Tas. We should go ask him."
