I got to school quicker than expected and propped up my longboard so I could grab it. Hopefully it would fit in my locker, but if not, my friend stole a key to the janitor's closet that the guy never used. I could store it in there.
I pushed open the door to the school and walked down the hall, my earbuds still blasting music into my ears. I found my locker and put in the combination, and was surprised to find that my board fit perfectly. Such a relief. I then slipped my backpack off my shoulders and stuffed it in my locker as well.
I slammed it closed, trying not to laugh as a few kids startled at the loud noise., then leaned against it and pulled out my phone to text a few people while I was permitted to.
