  • Leah smiled and slowly stood up from her chair. "I'll let you rest in peace, Lewis." With a nod to both of them, she made her way over to the exit when she turned around and said to Tina, "if you need help, don't hesitate to call me over," before leaving.

Cyril shook his head, and held Eric's face firmly in both of his hands. His expression had become serious, his gaze hard on his friend. "Eric, listen to me carefully. Don't go outside. Maybe once a day or so, but that's it. And never leave the Sanctuary without me. Do you understand? Its for your sake. Its also an order - oh, screw the order. Do this for me, Eric. Please." Cyril released his hold and dropped his arms to the side. His head was bent low, his expression not changing. "I promised to protect you with my life," he muttered quietly under his breath.

  • Tina Ross

She smiled and nodded before sitting in the same seat Leah had been sitting, watching her newest patient since Richard.

    Eric Bradley

Eric noticed his friend's saddened look and dipped his head, picking Cyril's head up to look him in the eye. "Okay," he breathed. "I'll night hunt if it'll make you feel better."(its not gonna blow over like that lol. My mind is cooking up an idea >=P)

  • ooc: ahahaa, as usual ;)

ic: "It does make me feel better." Cyril gave a sigh of relief, and smiled a little at his friend. "Thank you, Eric. I will assist you when I can, just in case. And when the Hunters are roaming around at night, don't go hunting. Stay inside. I'll bring a human in for you, or..." He rubbed his neck with one hand, tilting his head to the side as he thought. "I will think of something. If it comes to worse, I'll offer you my blood."

  • (:) there's no stopping my epicasity lol)

    Eric Bradley

He smiled gently at his friend and nodded. "Well," he breathed. "We should get some rest. Tomorrow is another day that requires attention." He chuckled softly and wished his friend good night before he retired to his room.

  • (Yea :3 lol)

    Eric Bradley

He rose early to try and get a little time to ready himself for the rest of the day. Around eight was when it began. His head started to throb and his chest began to tighten. With a soft growl, Eric managed to call Cyril's name.

    Headmaster Sylvester

"He is very talented with a sword," he said as they travelled the hall's of their Sanctuary. "I agree," said Master (no idea what I named him if I named him. Let's go with Ross lol)Ross. "But are you sure he's the fit for the Holy Blade? I mean, he's still so young...."
"You can always put his through a test," suggested the Headmaster. "See if he's the right choice or not. If not the Blade, then maybe the Holy Bow. He's excelled in his archery classes."
    "Perhaps," said Ross thoughtfully.

  • ooc: lolll xD Ross sounds good, btw. :)

ic: "Yes, so watch out for the Hunters."

Cyril had been up early, seeing to the clan. He was talking to one vampire, when suddenly a feeling pulled at his guts, and the sounds around him seemed to be a blur with only one voice in his mind. It was quite faint - Eric. "Excuse me. I have been called," he said to the other and spun around, hurrying down the hall without waiting for a response. He rushed past the others and towards Eric's room, ignoring everyone and everything. "Eric?" Cyril called out softly, opening the door. "I'm here. What's wrong??" He shuffled inside and walked towards him with a worried smile.

  • (....what was the first speak directed at? Lol)

    Eric Bradley

He gave a small moan, his head in his hands. "It starts," he managed to say past the tightness in his chest. It felt as though it tightened its grip on his chest, making his face twist in to what appeared to be a grimace. "If I miss this feed, it'll get worse for the afternoon." His tone suggested that he was terrified that he would drain a human later if he didn't feed now. The Mark on his neck was shining bright as opposed to it yesterday.

(And I don't believe you answered that question I had asked in my pm to you lol)

  • ooc: oh, the other vampire he was talking to xD And yea, I answered ur pm.

ic: Cyril walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder and giving it a good squeeze. It was clear of how much pain he was in, and how urgent it was needed for him to Feed. Going out in the day would not be wise... Draining a human would not be good, and the Hunters are out looking for him. He sighed, and gently pulled away his hands, pulling his chin up with a finger and his thumb so that they would be looking right at each other. "This is an urgent matter, and we don't have much options at the moment. Eric, use me, quickly." He leaned in close to his friend, resting his forehead on Eric's shoulder.

  • (I'll take a look :))

    Eric Bradley

His eyes closed as his mouth stretched, fangs glinting in the light of the room. With one movement, Eric bit down into the nape of Cyril's neck. His arms went up and around Cyril's back., hands gripping his cloak in fists.

    Tia Ross

She was in the Healer's Wing, helping Lewis to stand again. "Good," she said in a reassuring tone. Lewis stretched his neck a bit, Still feeling as though he was back in the Arena, being Fed on. He shivered once and turned to Tia. "I saw the Marked One," he breathed quietly, afraid of something that wasn't there. "It was blood red against his neck." Tia lifted her head and yelled Leah's name.

  • ooc: okayy

ic: "Coming, Tina." Leah came walking at a fast pace through the doors, smiling as she saw Lewis up. "Do you need anything??" She asked as she went to stand beside Tina.

Cyril gave a little gasp, and sucked in a breath. One arm was wrapped around Eric as well, his clenched fist firm and supporting on his friend's back.

  • Tia Ross

She watched as Lewis sat down slowly and placed his head in his hands. "Go on, Lewis," she said reassuringly. Lewis took a deep breath and told Leah exactly what he had said to Tia. "His bite was....." he shivered and pressed a hand against the left side of his neck, the side that bore Eric's Mark. "It was like Dracula was the one feeding. There's no other way for me to explain."

    Eric Bradley

He drank a few more fills before he released his bite, licking the blood stains off his friend's neck before he carefully released his friend's cloak. "Thanks," he said, swallowing what had been left on bis mouth.

  • "Any time," Cyril replied with a grin. He shifted his cloak, rubbed his neck where Eric had bitten. "You are sure drinking more than usual lately." He dropped his arm, and looked to the Mark of Dracula on Eric's neck. "How do you feel??"

"Dracula....??" Leah leaned forward, eager to know more. But she bit her lip and forced herself back away. "Then... its possible its Dracula's new Protege, the one we are looking for. Lewis," she continued in a softer, quieter voice. "Do you remember what he looked like??"

  • Eric Bradley

He nodded, wiping his mouth with a hand. "I feel like my body is warping," he said softly, flexing a hand. "I can literally feel my senses sharpening higher. It feels...strange."

    Lewis

He took a deep breath and breathed out to calm his nerves. "He wore a black cloak," he breathed. "It was dark, but I saw his eyes. Deep blue, but with hints of crimson. What I saw of them, it looked like the crimson was spreading. I thought I saw dark black hair tumbling into them, but I'm not sure."

  • "That is great, Eric! You will be almost invincible now." Cyril smiled at his friend with a look of fascination. "It must be strange for you.. I'm sure you'll get used to it soon though."

black cloak, deep blue eyes, with crimson, dark black hair... Leah took mental notes of the description, and nodded gratefully at Lewis. "That's a start. Thanks, Lewis."

  • Lewis

He nodded slowly, rubbing his neck as though it hurt. "Yea," he breathed softly. "I think....I-I think they we're wanting me dead..." he shivered violently, rubbing his arms. "Now I wish I was." Tia tapped her chin before she remembered something. "Richard," she said. "That Mark on the left of your neck is the same as what was found on him."(abd Leah recalls something Josh told her lol)

    Eric Bradley

He nodded, rubbing Dracula's Mark as it faded back into his neck. "It's just really strange," he breathed softly. He closed his eyes for a moment, remembering back to when Dracula first gave him the mark and shivered.

  • (... I'm going to guess its about his sister. If I'm wrong, I'll edit lol )

"Richard...?" Leah repeated. Her eyes went slightly wide as she remembered something. "Then that would mean... Joshua's sister had the same mark as Richard and Lewis!"

"It must be." Once again he placed a hand on Eric's shoulder - a repeated gesture. He sighed and stood up, rolling back on shoulder to release the tension.

(I feel like giving Leah a tragic back story... idk why. I'm feeling evil. >:3 )

  • (Yea you got it right and go right ahead xD)

    Tia Ross

A shiver filled her body. "That vampire is really active," she breathed.

    Eric Bradley

"I wonder how Vanessa and Celeste are," he purred, grinning.

  • Leah nodded in agreement. "We'll have to watch the area more frequently. I'll request more patrols to the master."

Cyril chuckled, taken aback by surprise. "Ah, my beautiful little dove. The look of terror in her eyes hasn't left my mind since."

    (yayy~)

  • Tia Ross

She nodded. "That would be best," she said softly.

(Ugh. I'm itching to get on with my plan. Time jump. Aaaannd Cyril's asleep XD)

    Eric Bradley

He tried hard to stay inside as the moon rose. It had been hard, as no one had brought back a human during the afternoon. Growling as the savage took over, he grabbed his cloak, throwing up his hood and left the Sanctuary. With his heightened senses, he entered the city and searched for a victim. At midnight, he found a teen boy of around fifteen. With his savage thirst aiding him, he grabbed the human and held him tight, fangs glinting.

The boy struggled in the vampire's grip, unable to scream. Eric gripped the youth's head and pulled it to the side before biting down hard, shifting his bite a bit. It didn't take long for the boy to go limp in the vampire's arms. "Hey," called a hunter as a patrol stopped. "Y-You can't drain a human. It's against the law(lol)." Eric released the boy, letting him fall to the ground. As he turned to face his opponents, his cape fluttered to the ground and Dracula's Mark became visible and the entire patrol gasped in fear. "Dracula's Chosen," one of them breathed. Eric grinned darkly as they all drew their swords. One of them was a bright silver sword with a cross hilt.

Eric didn't notice the sword until after the others were on the ground. The New sword wielder rushed the Marked One and swung. Eric gave a yell when the sword cut through flesh, completely ignoring the Mark's protection.

"My Lord," cries Marente, bursting into the throne room. "Eric's in trouble. The same blade as with the Marked One twenty thousand years ago!" Dracula's eyes widened and he pretty much launched himself across the ground, a snarl appearing on his face as he began to dissolve into black smoke.

Eric lay on the ground, bleeding and shivering. "Headmaster will be pleased you're out of the picture," growled the Hunter. Right as the sword came down, Dracula appeared and brought his own sword up, easily blocking the blow and sending the Hunter back several feet. He snarled darkly at the Hunter. "Touch him again," snarled the vampire, crimson eyes wide and furious. "And I will personally tear your throat out. Now you tell your Headmaster that I will not lose another. He is not going to tear this one away from me!" With that, the Hunter ran off, shoving the Sword back into its holster. Dracula let his sword vanish(the Void Sword. It can steal life lol) before he knelt in front of his Protege, soft worry in his eyes. Eric flinched when Dracula gently touched his jaw. "I am so sorry." He breathed quietly. Eric looked up at the Lord Vampire in pain. "I didn't do anything wrong did I?" He asked quietly. Dracula shook bis head, gently lifting Eric off the ground. "You did exactly what I would have done." Dracula carefully helped the youth toward his castle before touching Cyril. "Come to my Castle," he said.
