  • There is a small town in the mountains. Isolated from the rest of the world by tall stone peaks and lush green forests Liore is a town of peace. The people there prefer a more rustic way of life. They live in peace and help everyone in need, but one.

There is one the people of Liore won't even go near. She appeared one night a year ago. A strange cloaked girl with a metal leg, who plays with fires and spits blood. She strikes in the night. Stealing from people. No one knows where she came from. No one talks to her. No one knows her name. She is known as The Demon Child.

Here have two weird pictures drawn by me.

  • Jade and Jake
They are twins. Normal twins. Both adopted at birth by the same adopted parents. Jake is older by 20 seconds. He is strong and quite. Keep to him self and using his smarts as well. Jade on the other hand is the voice. She is loud and crazy but no matter how smart she is, always does the stupiest thing possible. Now, these two are 15 and just moved to a new town. Jade has a long black hair with green eyes and Jake has short black hair with green eyes. New too town, only been there for 4 days about, head the rumors of The Demon Child. They were quite interested to find her, but heard she stole things a night so, they started to plan to meet her.

  • OOC awesome! You're in!

Something moved in the shadows along the edge of the forest. A cloaked figure apeared shuffling along weaving between trees. They scuffed up small pebbles with their boots. They turned a moment looking towards the village a ways off revealing the face of a girl. She let out a sigh and turned away and kept going along the tree line.

  • Jade
"Jake, I say we just go in the forest!" I said sighing. Jake shook his head. "Why NOT!?" I asked. H shrugged. I took a deep breath then walked out of our house.

    Jake
I sighed and followed behind closely. She is so stupid and stuborn. We startd to reach the forest. I can hear something but not to well with the Jade talking nonstop about somehign random.

  • Voices floated down from the village slowly growing closer. The girl, alert now, stood still quieting her sound and looked around. Someone seemed to be coming. She turned quickly and started to trek deeper into the forest. She was in no mood for a fight right now and there was no saying those people wouldn't attempt to kill her as a few had already.

  • Jake
"Listen," I finally said. I stopped and stopped Jade. Someone was around here. Hum, who would is the real question. Jade then went off, in the wrong direction. "over here!" I hissed pulling her along.

    Jade
I stumbled after Jake as he pulled me along. Too bad he is stronger than me.i can't do anything about that. "Do you think its the person from the rumors?" I asked softly. Jake shrugged.

  • The girl attempted to move as silently as possible through the twigs and leaves. It was difficult to move fast and silent on a littered ground. From the sounds behind her she knew she was being followed. She could try to climb a tree, but it wouldn't offer much cover and she wasn't sure she could scale it in time. Her only options were to keep running or turn and fight.

  • Jade
I soon wrenched away and ran ahead, slightly here foot steps and I keep running. If this was the demon child, I would feel so happy. What if I called out and say we do not mean any harm. Or that we are unarmed. As I thought I ran straight into a tree then fell backwards. "Keep going Jake," I said.

    Jake
I looked at her then signed and keep running. Being quite gave you some advantage. You get used to hearing soft noises. But I don't was to leave Jade on her own. I stopped. Ran back to Jade" get on my back," I said. She did with out any questions then I keep running..

  • What was that? The girl heard a dull thunk. Then backtracking footsteps. What was going on? Now the steps where back heading at her heavier though. Odd. She didn't take too much time to ponder it though. What to do now? How long could she keep going? She would have to turn sometime. Preferably soon to conserve energy. With a last minute choice the girl whipped out her sword and spun around her face still concealed by the cloaks hood. "Stay back," she said her voice low in warning.

  • Jake
I set Jade down then put my hands up. Okay, this is bad.

    Jade
though the blurriness I saw the cloaked figured. I stood up then wen to sand next to Jake. "We mean no harm," I said. Jake nodded and helped me to keep steadie. "We just came being curious advwntur―" Jake but his hand over my mouth before I could finsijed.

    Jake
"We cme just out of curiosty but we shall now take our leave if you wish," I said.

  • "Go," the girl said flatly her gloves hands gripping the sword infront of her. Sure they said they meant no harm, but she couldn't trust them. There was no one she could trust now. Trust wasn't a part of her life anymore. That was taken from her along with many other things. No she couldn't let her guard down. Stay strong.

  • Jake
I nodded the dragged Jade away as she was fighting back. As soon we reach what I believe the edge of the forest near town, I let her go.

    Jade
"What the heck!?" I said. "That could of been The Demon Child! If it was, I had SO many questions!" I screamed whispered.

    Jake
I ignored her and forced her to go home. "Not now. She looked like she couldn't trust us, armed or unarmed," I replied. We reached home and signed.

    Jade
"I hate you," I hissed. I stormed inside and to the attic, more like our room. I sat down on my bed and never spoke.

  • The girl watched until they vanished from sight before returning her blade to its sheathe. She sighed and headed a ways deeper into the forest before climbing a ways up a tree and sitting on a thick branch. She let her legs dangle off into the empty space below her. She pushed back her good with a sad sigh. Maybe she should try a new place to live off of. Maybe she could try to live a life again. Being alone was not a life, but maybe she could still find answers and complete her goal. Just maybe.

  • Jake
I went up stairs to grabbed my bow and arrow. Jade is no in a good mood. Oh well. I walled back to the forest then shrugged. Well, maybe I'll hunt or practice aiming. I found a nice tree then went a little while away. I took the bow, loaded, then aimed. I was a lefty, so was Jade. But we are slowly learning to be a righty. Maybe I should try it with my right. Before I made a final design I released and the arrow went flying into the tree.

    Jade
I curled up in my bed with nothing to do. Jake had ruined our chance to meet who I think we the demon child! I bet he knew it too! I rolled over, then heard being called down by my mother. I got up and went down. "Yes?" I asked, trying to sound happy. "Where's Jake?" she asked. "Out practicing he archery," I guessed, hoping I was right. "Alright but as soon as it stats getting dark, you are going to get him, okay?" I nodded then went upstairs.

  • The girl heard steps nearby and huddledcon the branch hoping not to be noticed. Suddenly an arrow flew up into a nearby tree. Startled the girl gave a small gasp only to cover her mouth quickly. Had she been spotted? Or was it only coincidence the arrow was so close. She couldn't be sure and didn't dare look down for fear of really being spotted. She just hoped she hadn't been heard.

  • Jake
I stopped before loading a new arrow. Did I just hear something? I listened carefully then walked slowly to the tree, as quietly as I could. I slung my bow across my back then looked up the tree, squinting. I can't see anything.

    Jade
I looked out the tiny window. And waited till the sun started to set.

  • The girl remained still. Her legs clutched up against her. Don't move. Someone is there. they are armed. Don't let them know you're here. She slowly moved her hand so it rested on the handle of her sword. Just to be safe. She shut her eyes for a moment praying it wouldn't have to end in a fight.

  • Jake
I walked away. Rather a suspious tree I do say so. I keep looking back. Let's not use that tree any more. I pulled out my bow again to shoot at another tree. But I did looked back in the direction of the tree.

    Jade
Hum, looks like its almost time to get Jake I think.

  • The girl slowly let her breath out. The threat wasn't gone, but wasn't as near now. She relaxed her stance slightly, but still hugging close to the tree. She dared to peek out for just a moment. Her eyes went wide. It couldn't be! It was the same boy from earlier. She was certain. He had found her again. She stared for a bit longer than safe and quickly ducked up into the covering of leaves once more.

  • Jake
I let go of the sting, and the arrow foe the landed next to the other ones I shot. I sighed then went to color them. Pretty sure they weren't too broken, able to use it once more time.

    Jade
Its time to go get him, before my mom yelled again I was out of the house to go grab him.
