  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Twilight's eyes widened in slight surprise when the Princess hugged her, but she hugged back after a moment. "I will, Princess. I promise," She swore.
    Crona began to shake again when Twilight slowly pulled away from Celestia and stepped towards him. "I-it won't hurt, will it?" He asked softly.
    Twilight shook her head with a reassuring smile. "It won't hurt a bit," She said, and Crona's confidence was raised. Twilight glanced at the spell once more, then closed her eyes in concentration as her horn began to glow. Slowly, Crona's soul began to project. The colt suddenly appeared to be surrounded by a magenta orb with a flame-like wisp. But just as quickly as it appeared, it was swiftly sucked into Crona's small form. The colt gasped slightly; it didn't hurt, but it felt strange. He felt weaker, somehow. Not physically, but his soul's energy was silent. "Is this how people from other worlds feel all the time?" He thought. "It's terrible."
    Twilight opened her eyes. Her horn continued to glow, upholding the spell. "Does it feel like it worked?" She asked, to which Crona nodded.
    "I feel weird," He remarked.

    Will wandered around, much slower as he tried to find Orko. After tripping down a flight of stairs, he found himself walking through a hallway of what seemed to be armor. He touched each figure, memorizing the pattern. "Armor, wall. Armor, wall. Armor, w..." "Plant?" He said out load, touching the fronds. "It's out of place. That must mean..." The Reaper suddenly whisked out his hedge clipper, aiming it to where he thought it would grab Orko's cloak.

    Medusa sneered right back. "I brought you here, didn't I?" She said. "You simply have to understand basic universal quantum madness manipulation," She told him. A scientist, but a witch; Medusa was a true enigma. "See, I sent Crona away, and now I can bring him back with that same magic," She grinned, her horn glowing as she cast her spell. Her eyes widened, however, when she felt nothing. Her child's madness signature was gone; entirely erased. Her eyes narrowed. There were two possibilities: one, that he had been killed, which wasn't likely, given how peace-loving these ponies seemed to be. Back in her home world, when she had stormed the enemy fortress, she had been attacked with intent to kill. This world had simply imprisoned her, and she would be able to sense Crona's soul if he was imprisoned. The second option was that they had found a way to use Soul Protect, which was slightly more likely, given those creatures' abilities with magic. It was unlikely, but more probable. "He's being shielded," She growled.

    {ooc: Long post; sorry :P }

  • OOC: I grudgingly accept your apology for that awesome piece of roleplay you just wrote. How dare you make me read, Cosmic!
    Jk ;D

    Celestia, who had kept quiet during the spell, spoke up. "Twilight, please try to stay out of major combat situations. I know you have dealt with them wonderfully in the past, but without the use of your horn..." Celestia stopped there, not even wanting to imagine her student in such a situation. Glancing to the side, she wondered if she would have to ask the same of Crona.

    Orko yelped as Will's pruner caught in a niche between his robe and scarf, jolting him backwards. "I'm sorry I yelled at you!" He squealed before doing anything else, then hurriedly clamped his hooves over his mouth.
    "Sorry, did you want to say something now?" He asked in a now muffled voice, eyes shining apologetically.

    "Of course he is." Skeletor retorted smugly, putting on an air of humoring Medusa. He let the chainsaw drop to the floor and strode in the opposite direction, stopping when he reached the wall. "Since your little spell isn't working--for whatever reason--what do you say somepony go fetch your brat? Like I originally suggested?"

    {ic}
    Twilight nodded. "I will, Princess. Don't worry," She promised.
    Crona nodded. "I will too, I guess. Fighting would release my Soul Wavelength," He said. "Actually, I'm not sure if I can. I probably can't wield Ragnarok without my soul energy."

    Will sighed. "You don't need to apologize," He grumbled. "I should. It's simply that..." He cut off, took a deep breath, and continued. "All my life, I've focused on business and efficiency, and prided myself in my abilities in those aspects. You're not either of them," He said, "But... I'm starting to realize that that's okay. In your case, at least. It makes you... Endearing, I suppose. Like I've adopted an amusing child." He hoped his pep talk was working. He wasn't used to giving them.

    Medusa glared at him. "Fine. You may go, Skeletor," She huffed, sitting on her haunches. "But first, let me at least attempt to return you to your bodies. If it works, then Grell shall go." It would eliminate her threat to return them to their home worlds in their own bodies, but it might make Skeletor more compliant, she thought.
    "Yay!" Grell cheered. "My own body! My glorious face! The color red!"
    "I believe it would help if you two were touching in some way," Added the witch. In reality, she didn't think it would help anything, but she wanted to be amused.

  • In forces, Medusa was about even with her but they had more ponies to protect now, with Twilight and Crona unable to fight. The spell was undoubtedly worth it to stop Medusa from harming Crona any further, but Celestia couldn't help but worry over the cost. Telling herself to think about it later, she smiled at Crona. "Maybe you could tell us how souls work over a meal, if you're comfortable with that." She offered.

    Orko stared back at Will blankly. "But...You like me?" He said hesitantly, attempting to verify the information he had been given. "Because....I was thinking that you don't like me, because I yelled at you...And I threw a door at you when we met!" He added as an afterthought, though he obviously considered it a horrifying one.

    The knowledge that the imbecile Grell had been prancing about in his skin was frustrating enough; Having to actually touch the misused body was rubbing in the insult as deep as it could go. But he needed it, his magic, and his power back, and as soon as possible.
    After the internal conflict was done avidly playing in Skeletor's expression, the corners of his mouth drew back into a look of pure disgust. Taking ridiculously small steps, he inched his way towards Grell, then turned around and outstretched his left back leg until it very lightly tapped the edge of Grell's hoof.
    "There, we're touching, Medusa!" He cried out, sounding like he was saying how obnoxious he found everyone in the cavern much more than giving a status update on his proximity to Grell.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Crona's eyes widened. He nodded rapidly, his stomach growling in response. His face went red as he spoke silently, "Sorry. I'm just hungry."
    Twilight smiled. "The best meals in Canterlot are served right here in the castle," She beamed at him. "I'm sure we'll find something to satisfy your appetite."
    "Me too!" Ragnarok suddenly shouted, spouting from in-between the colt's wings in a spurt of black blood. "I'm hungry too!"
    Twilight tilted her head. "Do I have to guard his soul, too?" She asked, to which Crona shook his head.
    "I don't think so. Since the shield's around my body, it should guard Ragnarok's soul," He said. "I can tell you a lot about souls. It's basic knowledge in my home world," He said. "At least, in my school. But I don't know as much as my friends or my teachers, because I haven't been going very long."

    Will sighed. "Well, unlike Grell, I happen to have an extremely hard time expressing emotion," He muttered. "But I don't lie. So if I say that you're forgiven, I mean it." He slowly lowered his hedge clipper, trying to make sure the jester didn't run.

    Medusa smirked. "Good boys," She taunted, before muttering he spell. She knew that ponies typically didn't need to use commands for their magic, but it felt odd to her if she didn't recite her ingrained mantra at the beginning of every spell, like at home. She felt it honed her magic a bit more, anyway. "Nake, Snake. Cobra, Cobura..." She murmured, concentrating. She felt their souls move under her command, sliding along the channeled energy... And clashing.
    The Snake Witch growled a bit to herself. She couldn't get them both across the channel at one time. But if she put them both in one body, and then moved one, she might get somewhere.
    "Good news," She spoke with effort, "You're not switching heads. Bad news, you'll both be in the same body for a moment, and a body without a soul has a high chance of death," She said, holding the connection while she spoke. So which one would she rather keep alive? They were both strong allies with a thirst for blood. Skeletor was cunning, though. Medusa much preferred allies that would obey your words without question or with slight prodding over underlings that thought for themselves. Smirking slightly, she put Grell's soul back into his own body, alongside Skeletor's soul. The skull-headed body fell to the ground, still breathing, but as a shell. When Medusa saw that the body still lived, she grinned. "You two sit and groan for a bit while I try to figure out the next spell." She knew the spell perfectly, but she was enjoying the moment.

  • "So you have special schools for soul magic." Celestia stated, more repeating information than actually asking a question. Crona hadn't been going to the soul school for very long. Had be been going to some other school before then? She frowned. "Crona, how old are you?"

    "Yes, yes, yes, thank you!" Orko in quick succession, pitch rapidly increasing in volume. Estatic, he lunged at Will's neck for a hug but only barely touched him before pushing away and leaping in the other direction. "Wait! We have to find Twilight and tell her! Let's go, I can teleport you!"

    Unusually...crowded. He could distinctly feel Grell's presence, right next to him, uncomfortably close.
    Skeletor pushed his way to the mouth and snarled. "You mean to tell me that instead of doing the spell you put us in one body!? Put me back this instant, you Grell!" His attention only lasted on Medusa for the moments it took for him to say those words, then it snapped back to his new bodily roommate, unintentionally replacing his insult with the reaper's name.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Crona followed Twilight as they began walking to the dining hall. "Professor Stein would argue that Soul Study is science, not magic," He said, smiling fondly at the memory of the professor that had saved him from death. "Um... I dunno," He said, in response to her question. "I've never really had a birthday party or anything. I don't know my actual birth year, or the day I was born. Medusa didn't really care about that."
    "Well, you needed to reach a stable age before Medusa replaced your blood with mine," Interjected Ragnarok, "And I've been stuck in this body for twelve years and two-hundred and seventeen days. I've counted," He growled. "So, if I had to guess, you're probably around thirteen or fourteen."
    Twilight stopped and stared at the colt. "And you've only been going to school for less than a year?" She questioned. "Your world must be odd if no one goes to school until they're a teenager."
    "It's not exactly like that," Crona murmured. "All my friends have been going to school since they were little. It's just that Medusa wouldn't let me around other kids, and usually kept me inside unless she wanted me to go and kill something, and even then she'd always watch me. I never got away from her until Maka saved me."

    "No!" Will exclaimed quickly. He caught himself and cleared his throat before continuing, "I mean, perhaps we should just walk. Teleporting makes my stomach turn," He said, adding mentally, "When it works right."

    Grell stretched his legs, pushing Skeletor out of control for the moment. "Quit complaining, drab-face. Who wouldn't want to live in this beautiful form?" He smiled. "I've got my own hair and face back!"
    Medusa concentrated on Skeletor's soul, opening the channel again as she moved it back into his body. As soon as Grell felt full control return to him, he sprang up in the air. "Mine! My body! My wonderful hair! My wonderful clothes! My wonderful face!" He cheered.
    Medusa rolled her eyes for what felt like the hundredth time that day as she placed Skeletor's soul back within his own form.

  • Celestia looked at Crona, feeling pity welling up inside of her again. The more they discovered about the colt's past, the more horrible it seemed to become. "Well, when you get home, you can thank Maka for us." She said gently as they approached the corridor leading to the dining hall.

    "Uh, that's okay!" Orko chirped, looking semi-confused by Will's reaction as he ran back to pick up the plant, ears flattening to his head as he ducked under the poised leg of a suit of armor. "You're great at walking! I'd walk all the time if I was as good at it as you. Come on!" He darted off, not looking behind to see if Will was following him.

    Skeletor raised his head, shifted into a more dignified position, and held out his leg. The Havok Staff flew off the ground at him, and he snaked a hoof around it, using it's weight to lift himself up. "It's about time you took me out of that accursed body." He commented testily, though he made no further snide remarks, instead waving the staff with his aura and summoning the image of what looked like an incomplete map of the Canterlot palace. All the see-through model showed was the parts he had been in so far, which, besides the place where they had battled, was not much. "I hope you have more information about this infernal building than I, Medusa, if you are going to send us there."

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Crona smiled. "I will," He promised. "Maka's my best friend. I'm sure she'd love to meet you all. She loves learning about new places. She just loves learning, actually," He said, but suddenly he frowned again. "I wonder if I'll ever see her again... Or my teachers, like Miss Marie or Professor Stein. Or my other friends. Do you think they miss me?" He whimpered.
    Twilight smiled, draping a wing over the colt. "I'm sure they miss you very much," She said. "They're worried for you, I'll bet. They probably hope you're okay."

    Will stumbled after him, running into a wall. "Orko!" He yelled. "I can't see, remember!" He called, trying in vain to make his way up a staircase.

    Medusa walked over, adding to the map as she spoke, "I know one thing for certain. This," She said as she completed a corridor, "Is the route to the sleeping chambers. The best time to get Crona back would be while he's asleep," She said. "But we'll need something very important first."
    Grell looked at his hooves and gagged. "Please say it's hofficures," He muttered.
    "No," Replied the witch. "Candy. If we're going to capture Crona sucessfully, we need to shut Ragnarok up. The only way that works are with bribes. He might've come willingly before, but I believe it's around dinnertime. If they feed him, he's on their side."

  • As Celestia watched them interact, the pity for Crona openly mixed with pride for Twilight's supportiveness, the way she knew what to say to make Crona feel better. It seemed like such a short time ago that she hadn't wanted to do do anything not involving magic, or books. "We'll have to continue this over dinner, because we're here." She announced, strolling ahead and holding the door open for the other two. "I believe you liked pasta, Crona, so we can have that if you want."

    "What? Oh, right!" Orko spun around and headed back again, this time with a long string of handkerchiefs tied together, which he had inevitably pulled out of his clothes somewhere. "You can hold on to this, and I'll run really fast and pull you up the--wait, no..." He shoved the end of the makeshift rope in the general direction of Will's mouth. "Just hold onto this."

    Skeletor lowered his head. Despite all the magic he had, he could not conjure anything. Transform, yes, summon, indeed, but he had only concentrated on things that would be useful to him in fighting, tactics, stealth, and the like. Making candy appear out of nowhere was never a problem before, and even if it had been necessary in some way he would have simply told one of his warriors to retrieve some from shops on the Light Hemisphere, or more likely tell them to get it from that stash that they thought he didn't know about.
    "...Candy." Skeletor attempted to narrow his eyes, remembered he had returned to lacking them, and instead walked in a half-cicle around the map. "If we infiltrate the palace, and wake Ragnarok, why would Crona not scream and alert the others? Would he not be awake as well?" He asked, too invested in the plan to add on a layer of sarcasm or a biting insult. Of all the beings Skeletor had encountered and worked with, Ragnarok was undoubtedly his favorite. Easily swayed, lethal, and literally a weapon, he was looking forward to getting him back.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Crona's eyes widened and he nodded his head quickly. "Yes, please!" He said.
    Twilight smiled as she let her wingtips brush over Crona's mane before she retracted her wing entirely. "And after dinner, we'll all get some sleep," She said. "I'm sure we need it."

    Will nodded, grabbing the lead in his mouth. "Honestly," He thought, "Needing four legs to walk and holding things in my mouth. How degrading. I'm just glad that the Undertaker isn't here taking pictures," He grumbled.

    Medusa nodded. "He might, but my child is easily manipulated by fear. If we threaten Crona, it'll probably keep quiet," She said, using "it" terms for her own child as if he were an animal. Aside from merely using him as a tool and slave, another excuse she used for her words was that no one really knew his gender, anyway. "Ragnarok is harder to persuade. Unfortunately, they're two sides of the same coin. Two bodies in one," She said. "We can't have one without the other. Crona's pretty useless on its own, anyway."

    {ooc: I has ideas. But they're long and complicated X3 It starts with me asking if you wouldn't mind if I played Luna ;) }

  • OOC: Not at all! When she came up I was going to ask if you wanted to play her anyway, I just have no clue how to do it. XD

    Celestia gave the serving pony a quiet description of what they wanted, then came back to Crona and Twilight. "It'll be ready in a little bit. Why don't we all sit down and relax." She motioned to a neatly arranged set of dark wood chairs with her hoof.

    Orko led Will onward in a confusing pathway, left then right, up and down stairs, disjointed enough that if he hadn't been calling out Twilight's name--and everypony else he had seen her with--he could have been easily mistaken for wandering aimlessly. About when it started to seem like he was only getting lost, the lead tightened. Quickening into a jog, Orko ran in front and poked his head into the dining hall, the two ends of the hankercheif trail hanging out the bottom of his scarf like they were tentacles on some lovecoltian creature.
    "I found her!" He called out behind him, then busied himself with trying to prop both doors open at the same time.

    "I would suspect as much." Skeletor dryly observed, claking the Havoc Staff on the ground beside him as he passed the map completely and went straight to Grell, though he adressed Medusa just as much with his next statement. "We're leaving to get the bribe."
    He and Medusa could plan the rest when they returned, he reasoned; Getting candy couldn't possibly take long, there were probably stores full of it everywhere in this world. He continued where he left off in the declaration of his actions, only the barest of pauses in between. "And we are going to do it subtly this time. As much as I would enjoy watching it scream in agony, you are not break into the shop and kill the owner, Grell."

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]{ooc: Yay :D The rest of the plan is that Luna finds a way to connect Crona and Orko to the dreams of their friends back in their home worlds (Will doesn't have friends. Or dreams.) Crona gets even more desperate to get home, and manages to enchant her human world mirror to send them home, but our friendly villains follow. So, basically, we'd be switching but the scenarios to go to the Soul Eater world, the MotU world, and the Black Butler world ;) }

    {ic}
    Crona nodded, hopping into a chair. Twilight sat next to him, but her eyes darted upwards when Will and Orko slammed through the door.
    "Twilight!" He shouted. "Princess. Twilight," He corrected himself. "Could you place conjure me a pair of spectacles if I supply you with the measurements?"
    Twilight raised an eyebrow. "Uh..."
    Luna yawned as she emerged from a door in the other side of the dining hall. "Good evening, everypony," She said. "Anything important... Happen..." She stared at William, Orko, and Crona. "I... Explain."

    Medusa shrugged. "Do what you like. But be back here by nightfall, or you'll never get home," She said.
    Grell giggled. "I get to go outside!" He cheered, pulling his comb from his pocket and running it through his mane to turn it brown.

    {ooc: Sorry this post is so short :P }

  • OOC: *squee* Good ideas! All very good ideas! Must not in around house in excitement and freak out cats! :D By the way, im going to be gone for several days again, I'm not sure if I'll be able to post on here during that time.

    Celestia turned to Luna, looking apologetic, and immediately began to summarize the day in as calm a way as possible. "Sister, I am afraid you missed a battle we had with Medusa, who has escaped by summoning ponies from other worlds to Equestria to free her. Crona here," She motioned to the young pony, "Was forced into working with these ponies, but when he came back to get a spell fron the royal library we managed to help him, and he is now our friend." She folded her hooves in front of her on the table and lowered her muzzle to them as she spoke, suddenly aware of just how much had occurred. "Twilight met two more otherworlders, William and Orko, yesterday, I believe. They are the ones wearing matching red hats."

    "Yeah, and I'm Orko!" Orko clarified, climbing onto a chair opposite of Twilight as most everypony else was either sitting or about to sit down. Raising his forehooves, he seemed to consider jumping onto the table as well, only to ultimately decide against it and put both limbs back on the seat.

    Skeletor looked askew at Medusa, trying to determine if her words could have hidden a veiled threat. He gave up the train of thought after a moment's consideration and came to the cavern wall. His horn glowed and with barely a paused in between the actions the staff shot up, crackling with energy; Then it passed on the **** a third time, now into the surrounding as energy zapped of it and formed a temporary, small portal in the wall. "Coming, Grell?" He said impatiently, not bothering to look behind him and address Grell face-to-skull.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]{ooc: Yay :D But aw :P I'll miss you.}

    {ic}
    Luna blinked blearily at the new ponies. "All right, then," She said, walking up to the table. She sat on the other side of Crona, looking the young pony over. "Are you expecting Medusa to return once more?"
    Twilight nodded. "Unfortunately," She said. "She's getting stronger every time. Crona used to be under her command, but now that we've freed him, Medusa's outnumbered," She smiled, and Crona waved a small hoof at Luna in greeting.
    "Orko," Asked Will as he sat next to the blue one, "Can you dictate exactly what I say in legible hoofwriting?" He said as he pulled a piece of paper and pen from his coat pocket. "I believe that the Princess would more easily understand my measurements if they were written down. Unfortunately, I cannot write in this state."

    Grell nodded, shrugging off his red coat to complete his disguise. "Hold on to this for me, would you, dear?" He asked Medusa, grinning with normal-shaped teeth. Medusa narrowed her eyes at him.
    "I should incinerate it for that comment," She muttered, "But I won't. Just get going."
    Shaken, Grell scrambled after Skeletor. "Let's be back quick so she doesn't singe my jacket!" He exclaimed.

  • OOC: I'm back! I missed you too! *hugs* I've also been thinking completely overanalyzing and I've found a reasonable seating arrangement, matching the descriptions we gave, that does not involve Will rudely shoving writing utensils around Luna. You'd think it would be easy, but it's not. XD

    "However, Twilight has given up her spellcasting abilities so Medusa cannot latch onto the madness in Crona's soul and summon him, and Crona can't fight now." Princess Celestia finished, meeting Twilight's eyes, then smiled warmly at her sister, levitating the just-served cup of water she had been given in front of her folded hooves. "As you can see, we have a lot to discuss."
    "Got it!" Orko reached forward and clamped the pen and paper between his hooves, then poured them onto the table. The notepad he levitated in front of him with his horn, while the pen--just before it rolled off--he delicately snatched off the table by it's top, and to test if everything was working he signed his name. It was in surprisingly elegant penmanship for someone with not only a personality as child-like as Orko but also someone writing with their mouth when just two days ago they had fully-functional hands.
    Orko nodded enthusiastically at Will, the pen swinging up and down with him as he motioned his readiness for instructions.

    Skeletor glanced to the side at Grell momentarily, and did a double take. Grell looked completely different. With all that had happened he had almost forgotten about the disguise; Grell's normal looks and simply overshadowed it with loudness and brightness, completely different from the meek-looking brown-maned pony beside him. He snickered, pulling his cloak forward so it hid him completely and stepped through the portal and disappeared from sight.
    When he was on the other side, he was in an alleyway, one of the ones he had passed through that morning. It was getting dark outside, which in Eternos meant that shops would start lighting up by both natural and mechanical means, though rarely by ****. If things were similar here it would only make it easier to find what He and Grell were looking for, and hopefully speed up the search.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]{ooc: Okay then XD I wasn't really thinking about it LOL
    My little sister wonders if you're British, FYI X3 I'm American ;)
    I also apologize for the crazy amount of text you're about to read. Soul Eater had 51 episodes (64 if you include the spin-off) and lot of lore-building.}

    {ic}
    Luna quirked a eyebrow. "The madness in Crona's soul?" She repeated. "It sounds as if you're speaking in another language, my sister."
    Crona paused from stuffing the pasta into his mouth, although Ragnarok continued to fill his own muzzle. "Yeah. Each soul has at least a small percentage of madness," He explained, "But if that madness is given in to, and that person commits a crime or something else that's bad, the madness gets stronger. If the acts continue, the madness will increase to the point that that person eats a human soul. After that, they're no longer human, and become monsters called Kishin Eggs. The more pure souls they consume, the more humanity they lose. Their bodies often get deformed and grotesque. That's the purpose of my school," He smiled. "To hunt down Kishin Eggs and exterminate them before they turn into a complete Kishin. There's only been one complete Kishin in existence, and his madness radiated off of him and infected the entire world. So we work hard so that won't happen again. Every time a meister, the weapon-wielding good guys, gets a Kishin Egg soul, it's either absorbed or eaten by their weapon, based on that weapon's preferences. Both empower the weapon. These weapons are like Ragnarok, as they're people that turn into weapons, but they all look normal when outside their weapon form. I've never seen anyone else with their weapon in their bloodstream, either," He admitted. "Obviously, human souls is a really bad thing to feed your weapon. It's against the rules. But if you feed your weapon ninety-nine Kishin Egg souls and one Witch's soul, they become a Death Scythe. They get really powerful, and can be used as Lord Death's weapon. He's the Grim Reaper, and he runs the school. He can't leave Death City, where the school is, because his giant soul is bound to the city to protect it. Am I leaving anything out...?" He thought to himself.
    Twilight desperately wished she could write all this down, but she was having enough trouble trying to lift her fork without magic.
    "Oh yeah," Crona smiled, "Witch's souls are born evil, your ability to wield your weapon strengthens with your souls' compatibility, and Soul Resonance happens when a weapon's and a meister's souls sync up perfectly," He beamed. "I don't know as much as Professor Stein, but I learned a lot from him and M... My mother," He caught himself.

    Will nodded in approval as he began to give Orko the dimensions for his glasses while eating. He was careful not to talk with food in his mouth.

    Grell's ears twitched as he followed him. His head was hung level, contrary to his normal posture of holding his head high. "Perhaps we should find a shop soon, mi'lord," He said meekly, "It's getting to e dark. We should by the truffles before the shop closes."

  • OOC: Actually, I'm American too! From Texas. ;) And I forgive you as long as you forgive me whenever I post something super long, LOL.

    Celetia watched Crona as he told them about his world, listening intently. Much of it raised even more questions; Was Lord Death using Soul Protect to cover Death City, would eating a human soul make one powerful even though it was not mad, what was a human? On and on. But she didn't have to ask all of them now, there would be time later to get all of the information she could. "You don't have to call Medusa your mother." She reminded.
    "Did it!" Orko exclaimed, dropping the pen. He shot the notepad towards Twilight and placed it beside her plate, where her silverware would be. "Now you can use your magic to make Will some new glasses!" He said optimistically. Then he frowned. "Wh...Hm, Uh, didn't the princess say something about...?" He leaned forward to look at Celestia, the ends of his scarf dangling precariously over his plate.

    Skeletor laughed out loud, tossing his head back and revealing just the tiniest glimpse of bone before lowering both his head and his voice. "You are much more likable in this state, Grell, " He cackled in hushed tones, pulling the hood tighter around himself. "You almost make me stop loathing you. Come!" He strolled out into the open air.
    The alleyway they had been in was a long crevice between a store and a restaurant, neither of which appeared to be selling the sweets they were looking for. "We are going to split up. You will head to the right, and woe betide you if you alert the royal guard to our presence." Skeletor instructed, pointing in the direction he wanted Grell to go."I will search elsewhere. "

    Crona sighed a little. "I know," He murmured, "But I don't like calling her by her real name, either. Even her name is scary," He whimpered.
    Luna seemed thoughtful. "Your world seems rather... Intricate," She said. "Do you miss it, little one?"
    Crona nodded. "More than anything," He confessed. "I'd give up eating pasta forever if it would let me get home."
    Twilight gave up and simply dug her face into her plate to eat.
    Will sighed. "Great. Is there anypony else who could provide me with a pair of spectacles?" He muttered.

    Grell was a little put-off when Skeletor said he liked his butler disposition better, but he didn't show it. He was surely going to complain about it later when he got his good looks back, though. "Of course, mi'lord," He said. "Would you like me to signal you if I find the candy?"

  • OOC: Oh, that explains it. I started doing that a while back to see if people would think I was English or Irish or something, then completely forgot about it until now. XD Looks like it worked!

    Celestia chuckled. "We won't have to resort to that, I think. If we find how Medusa managed to summon you, then we should be able to find a way to send you back to your friends and teachers."
    Orko looked at Will. "I guess I could try, like you wanted me too before...But that would mean using magic...at the dinner table..." His eyes lit up. "I knew this was missing something!"
    Orko grabbed his plate and thrust it into his sleeve, then jumped up onto the table in a blur of motion. "Princesses and Gentleponies, May I have your attention, please! Prepare to be amazed as I make this stallion's glasses appear out of thin air."

    "Of course you signal me, how else am I going to find you?" He said, speaking as though Grell was a small child and wouldn't understand if he didn't say it slowly. "Go! And do not dissapoint me. It's in your best interests to get the candy as well."
    Done talking, with a whoosh of his cloak be was already slinking away. Skeletor didn't see any point in telling Grell how to signal him; He trusted Grell would be at least smart enough to find a way. If he wasn't, then he would be sure to insist that Grell return to the caves--And make it very hard to get there.
