  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px][size=8]Not so long ago, Barry, one of his fellow Honorguards, had discovered a pile of comics, and to say the least, Steve was intrigued. He'd seen books, but he liked the whole concept of the pictures, too. He was rather drawn to art, after all. Today the kitten hadn't been feeling quite so well, which wasn't unusual, but rather than going out anyways and nearly dying from an asthma attack or passing out or puking up his breakfast, Steve had found a couple comics and was now sitting in his nest reading them. At first it had been rather difficult to understand the human language, since indy was pretty sure that knowledge wasn't something you could just acquire overnight, but it sort of helped that he was human reincarnation. He understood most of the plotline, along with the fact that it appeared to be about a character named Captain America. Hm.

She sat down beside him. "What are you looking at?" she asked, cocking her head to the said, as she had never seen a comic before. She concluded that it was a twoleg thing though, whatever it may be.

  • [sub]Minnie plodded up to them, frowning when Mariah swiped the comic out from Steve's paws. She narrowed her green eyes. "Hey, that wasn't very nice." She spoke, her voice quiet yet stern. The fae cocked her head, then glanced back at the others. "You should ask before you take something." She muttered loudly. The femme sighed. She sat down beside Steve, the smaller kitten twitching her whiskers abruptly.

[font=georgia][color=white]Looking around rapidly to see if there were any random loners coming to rip off her face. A small sigh left her little lips as she nervously padded up to the older cat. "Uh are b-books p..poisonous?" she said her fur shaking slightly as she stared at the bright picture before backing away slightly then falling due to her limping broken leg.

She waited for a moment the molecules in her face turning to a bright red before she covered her face nervously with her paw and chewed on her nails. This kit was a nervous wreck wasn't she?

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px][size=8]Steve glanced up from his comic, spotting the approaching WindClanners. "Oh, it's called a comic, I think. It's a story, like a book, but different and with lots of pictures. This one-" the golden tabby had been too busy describing it to Oakenpaw that he hadn't noticed Mariah and the comics was suddenly swiped right out from his paws. "H- Hey!" The Honorguard struggled to his paws, brow furrowing deeply, "Give that back!" Of course, he probably would've let her look at it, but she couldn't just steal it.
