"See you then, Miss Daire." Viola bowed slightly and turned to Chess, nodding. "Yeah, that was my dad.. Of course I'm worried about him bringing me back, but I'm really hoping that he's mad enough to give up on me. I'm a lost cause, anyways." She smiled bitterly.

Chess frowned, "You aren't a lost cause..." He said reassuringly, "I think you're a really cool person... I mean, how COULD you be a lost cause?" He said, not actually sure how to respond to that.
-
She smirked and shook her head. "Thanks, but I'm not worth saving to him. He wanted a doctor in the family and I wanted to be something else. I stole his beer money to run away. He still has hope for my lil bro, anyways."

Others~
is a Timeskip okay? -
It's okay with me~
-
Oh, sorry ( ^u^") ... We should.)
-
Okay then!
I wasn't sure if you wanted to continue with your character bonding or not.Wearing a black t-shirt and simple sweats, and with fancy mirrored sunglasses perched precariously on her forehead, Amelia Daire looks out the window of the plane. So far so good. No members of the Lilyflower....
-
(They didn't show up cuz they're lily-livered, OHHH)
Chess had let Viola have the window seat, so he was now leaning over her to look out the window, "Planes are so cool..." He muttered under his breath, nearly forgetting that he was leaning over his friend in all the excitement. He was honestly excited to be up in the air again, eating airplane food, breathing airplane air, feeling airplane emotions, throwing up because he was feeling airplane anxiety, it was all so wonderful.
-
((XD))
Daire glances over her shoulder. "Y'all good back there?" She asks the two other members of her expedition.
-
Viola shifted uncomfortably, nodding slowly. To be honest, she was terrified of air flights-- whenever it ascended, descended, or made the slightest height adjustment, she would get this unbearable feeling in her chest. As it ascended a bit further she shrieked, grabbing onto the nearest thing she could find; Chess's shirt. "We're all gonna die!" She screamed, hopefully not loud enough to freak out the nearby passengers. That certainly answers Miss Daire's question.
-
Chess laughed, "Oh stop..." He took a hold of her hand, "Look, we're already in the air." He looked out the window, "This is my favorite part about flying... It's so weird looking down at the world, but it's also beautiful..."
-
Viola hesitantly turned her head towards the window and cringed, looking out. Her shoulders relaxed slightly as she saw the view, her red eyes glittering with surprise. "O-Oh wow..! I've actually never looked out the window before.." Although this really didn't stop her from trembling.
-
Amelia makes a 'heh' noise and pretty quickly buries her nose in the book, rereading the notes that she's already pored over for several weeks. Maybe there's something she missed. Maybe some of the other cryptic messages will become clear once they reach the island.
-
Chess smiled, "See... It isn't so bad..." He watched as the clouds drifted by, something about it was very relaxing to him. Relaxing to the point that he worried he might fall asleep, would it be so bad if he did? He thought as his eyelids drooped, blurring his vision.
-
Timeskip? (To when they're there?) I apologize for all of these timeskips, but I have a thing against skipping a really long time. :/ Sorry.
-
Sure go ahead cx
-
Lol, mmkay.)
-
Okay...
Amelia lowers her sunglasses, looking around the small, rickety dock. "Hm. Let's consider getting off of this, before we start adventuring."
Nodding to the small, slightly frightened boatman, she takes her own advice and cautiously steps off of the old dock. -
Chess followed Miss Daire off of the dock, looking around. That plane ride had been fun, even though he'd slept through most of it. He tugged on the bottom of his shirt, not sure what they were going to do next.
