[sub]Minnie sighed in frustration. The kitten couldn't see some colors very well, and orange was one of those colors. The femme instead surveyed the shapes of the blooming plants. Some were shaped like bushes, and some were very flat. She closed her eyes and sniffed loudly. Most of the flowers smelled very nice, but powerful. She was looking for a strong, gross smell, not a nice smell. The femme sighed, and flinched at Thousandlies' cursing. She shook her head slowly, then flicked an ear. This might not prove to be very successful.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;]Marigold has a musky, pungent scent.
The tom nodded sharply before dashing into the meadow, looking around with a single wide eye. Hm, this was gonna be rather harder than he thought. All these flowers had pungent scents! Well, just look for an orange one. A ball of orange, eh? Not very drescriptive, but he could deal with it. It couldn't be that hard to find.
Randomly, he grabbed a orange flower that looked as if it was curling in on itself. It smell wasn't musky nor pungent, but he was still in the meadow, so who knew. He grabbed some others in his paws before padded back over, dropping them at her feet. "I'm not sure if this is it or not. There are a lot of flowers over there the scent is overpowering the Marigold." he explained.
Looking down at the flower again, he grimaced. Nope, that probably wasn't it. Eh... maybe he could help Eskimopaw find some? But would that be cheating? Hm...

❝ and you're gonna hear me roar ❞
[hr]Fever was simply looking around, absentmindedly picking various herbs to give to Glitchmob once done. The amount of herbs here was staggering compared to the desert she'd worked in.

Azurekit didn't want to leave the safety of Hyacinthpaw's large imposing figure and so he whispered quietly to his hawk companion and the fledglingly fluttered happily in response before hopping off his back and onto the ground.
With her slow skipping motions the hawklet followed the others, her beady eyes wide as she searched out the herb described to her by the quiet kitten. It didn't take long to stumble across the collection of bulbous orange flowers, but she noted that there were only a few present in that particular area. Hadn't Azurekit told her to leave them if the area was picked too much? Otherwise no more would grow.
Empty handed, or rather, empty winged, the avian fluttered back to deliver the news to him and he nodded solemnly as she climbed back onto his shoulder blades.
"...y-you shouldn't pick...so many..." He mewled quietly to himself, nodding as he glanced around from behind the polar bears large limbs.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 9px; text-align: justify; width: 350px;]Well she heard voices saying they found it so she lost but she wasn't going to give up. The daughter of Daywalker and Lee continued to leap around in the field, sniffing around. She was in mid-leap when the familiar scent of musky marigold caught her nose. She froze and inhaled sharply. This is it! She thought excitedly and dug her paw under the dirt, getting the root with it. Faithfulkit was 99 percent sure this was marigold leaves but she couldn't certify it because she couldn't see it. She raced back and placed the leaves down at her little white paws. "I t-think this is it!"
-

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify][sub]Collecting about ten or so leaves, Eskimopaw gripped the leaves firmly but lightly between her jaws. It seemed right, at least according to what glitch described. Trotting back, Es dropped them at her paws. -
[fancypost bgcolor= none; border: none; overflow: auto; width: 200px;][justify][color=white][sub]Oakenpaw listened, really too shy to speak up. She made sure she'd remember what the medicine cat had explained to the group. With a soft sigh and a look of determination, she went looking for the marigold. It was a gold flower, and she would bring some back, even if she wasn't the first one back. it didn't matter to her. The african painted dog quickly picked out the flower among the other flowers, and she plucked it gently from the ground. she carried it tenderly back to where the group was gathering.
-
[sub] Minnie's eyes brightened when she saw the familial bunch. It was very small, but it was still marigold! She grinned, and plucked the bundle of flowers. The stem snapped in half, and she growled slightly. It still worked, though. She daintily stepped through the wildflowers, carrying the herb as she went. The fae walked back, her tail held high and her chin up. Once she saw that others had already brought the marigold, she frowned. Her one bunch was much smaller than the others' medicine they collected. Her tail drooped, but she continued to lift her head. The femme sighed through the plant. Some of the juices had squeezed out and in her mouth. She wrinkled her nose, but continued holding it. Westminsterkit sat down beside some others, and looked up at Glitchmob.

She announced in a louder tone, picking herself up. "Carry your own herb bundles, everyone." The fem looked around, trying to remember where catmint grew.
By a small tributary, she found some. "What herb is this?" She asked aloud, hoping none of them got high from the plant.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;]He nodded before padding along beside his girlfriend. As they stopped, and the Medicine Cat asked the question, he tiled his head. "Catmint... or catnip. Whatever works." he meowed.
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 400px; font-size: 15px; font-family: georgia][justify]She smiled and carried the herbs around. She narrowed her eyes at the herb that Glitchmob showed and let out a hiss. "Catmint."
-
Clockpup followed, looking around.
"Catmint?" she answered, looking at the herb.
She was holding some marigold she had found earlier in the field.
It smelled kind of sweet, making her want to sneeze. -

"It smells...really good." This one Azurekit did not know but it had such an enticing scent he left his bear shield to venture out and rub his nose on it, tail trembling as he held it aloft behind him.
Catmint? Catnip? That's what everyone was saying. He'd heard of that but had never seen it before. The point kitten backed away before he was tempted to take the plant for his own.
That wouldn't do.

[fancypost bgcolor= none; border: none; overflow: auto; width: 200px;][justify][color=white][sub]the plant had a very pungent scent to it. the young painted dog narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. the herb had some sort of mind altering affect to it. oakenpaw could tell. there was one that she knew of that did that, and since everyone else had said it, she thought that's what it was. "It is catmint, right?" she asked softly. "May I ask a question?" the apprentice spoke up after a moment.
-
[sub]Minnie nodded. She sighed once more. The fae squeezed her eyes shut as she tried to think of the name. Thyme? No, it didn't smell tangy. It smelled weird. As Westminsterkit grew older, she would eventually realize that catnip didn't effect her, like some other felines. Minnie then perked up. "Catmint!" Her tail swished back and forth. The fae focused her gaze on Glitchmob.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 9px; text-align: justify; width: 350px;]She scented the air and a nice sweet smell wafted into her nose. She inhaled slowly, it smelt amazing! She knew exactly what that was- "Catmint!"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify][sub]Repicking up her pile of leaves, Eskimopaw prepared to answer before everyone else spoke. Oh, well. She said the name anyway. -

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;]Nodding, the tom darted over the the soft, leafy, and sweet smelling plants. He planted a paw on the leaf and stroke it, remembering the feeling of it.
Looking back over to Glitchmob, he tilted his head. "May we pick some now?" he asked politely.
