Alfred was crying even harder now, putting his head rested on the bars. He tried to reach out to Maria, really wanting to hug her body at least.

Japan had watched the whole thing with wide eyes and a hand over his mouth. Silent tears rolled down his cheeks as he watxhed her body drop from the wooden board. She was always so nice towards him, even towards the Axis Powers. He dropped to his knees and sniffled, missing her already.
-
Francis kept his head down, refusing to look up. He wished that he could have done something so they could have all left. This was not what he wanted.
-
Japan blinked the tears from his eyes and stood up, tears still rolling down his pale cheeks. His eyes were red a swollen from the consistent stream of tears falling from his eyes.
-
"Chronokuma." Francis said, stating quite coolly. "I would like to make a deal with you for Alfred and Kiku's life, also keep let them keep the bodies of the killed." Chronokuma stopped. "Why should I do that? What are you going to give me?" Chronokuma asked.
-
Japan looked at France with wide eyes"France....." He breathed, surprised at his request. He wasn't going to give his live for his and America's, was he?
-
"You can do anything to me, kill me or just torture me and keep me locked here. I don't care!" Francis honestly stated. Chronokuma smiled. "Alright, get the tank of water ready and give them the bodies already." One by one, bodies of everyone that died were brought out.
-
Antarctica's body was propped up against the cell bars and she was placed between Germany and Prussia. Japan looked at all of the body's and couldn't help but cry. All of his friends were dead.
-
Alfred grabbed her body and held her close to him, it only made him cry even harder. He didn't understand where these tears came from, they wouldn't stop.
-
Maria's 'dead' body lied limply against Alfred's chest, her head rested on his shoulder. Her eyes were closed as blood covered covered most of her pale skin.
-
"No leaving till Francis dies. Come on." Chronokuma told them. Francis headed behind the bars, he was not sure what to feel about his sacrifice.
-
Japan walked over to America, kneeling down next to him. He sighed shakily and placed his hand on Anarctica's wrist. His eyes widened as he felt a pulse. She was faking to be dead! Leaning closer to Ameria, he whispered"Don't worry, America. Antarctica is arive. Do not say anything or CronoKuma wirr kirr her" he told him, just loud enough so only he could hear him.
-
Alfred gave a small nod, looking up at the tank of water. Then realizing what Francis had done for them, he had been too busy grieving to hear what Francis had did.
-
Japan looked at the rest of the bodies of his fallen comrades. He was happy at least three of them would make it out alive.
-
Alfred looked back up again. He never had a strong connection with Francis, he knew that Matthew did. Then he remembered that Matthew was one of the others who had died, he had actually quite forgotten, thinking maybe when he left Matthew would be there. Did he really forget the one person he tried never to forget as much as he could?
-
Japan sighed and looked at the water tank where France sacrificed himself sovthey got away"He rearry must of fert bad if he sacrificed himserf for us" Kiku mumbled, looking at the wall.
-
"Yeah, he must have." Alfred said, still looking at the ground rather than looking at Maria. Sure, he had Maria who was actually alive, but what about Arthur, Francis and Matthew?
-
Japan patted his shoulder"Don't worry. We wirr bring them back." The smaller country promised the taller blonde, his brown orbs looking at the water tank once more.
-
Alfred still found it a bit hard to believe, wasn't that like a Arthur sort of thing to say? It just brought tears to his eyes.
-
Japan stood up"I think we can reave now.... France is dead and as CronoKuma said, we can reave" he stated in his usual monotone voice, looking at America.
