"Make them change their minds! I don't want to lose a brother!" Alfred was wanting so bad to do it himself, but it seemed that was not going to happen.

Maria sighed"I tried! I tried so hard but they didn't want to listen!" She cried, feeling the baby kick in her stomach.
-
"Try more! Please! They can't leave him out there to die, it's inhuman!" Alfred stated, feeling hopeless.
-
Maria winced as the baby kicked again"xhe child is not vanting to move right now. Plus my back hurts from zhis child in mein stomach." She breathed out.
-
Alfred looked down, letting out a sigh. "This is why, I tried to hard to keep him close." He muttered to himself.
-
Maria sighed"I knovit's hard. I lost Gilbert. So i knov it's hard." She agreed softly, looking over at Alfred sympathetically.
-
"But... He's alive, we can do something about it!" Alfred really wanted to go get his brother, himself.
-
Maria sighed"I can't do anyzhing......." She mumbled, sitting on the bed sadly. She hated just sitting here, doung absolutely nothing.
-
There was still noises from downstairs, it showed that something was going on and there sure was. Francis and Matthew were in the house, Arthur and Francis had left to get Matthew. When they did, Arthur got separated from them.
-
Maria looked towards the door"I zhink ivheard Mattheu down zhere vith Francis....." She trailed off, a hand on her stomach.
-
There were footsteps leading to the door and then a knock. Alfred was tempted to go and open it himself.
-
Maria stood up as fast as she could and shuffled to the door, unlocking it and opening it.
-
Francis and Matthew were there. "Ve t'ought ve vould come up." Francis told her, before going into the room. Matthew was behind him, looking very sweaty and flushed from colour on his face.
-
Maria nodded and stepped back, looking at Mattheu"Are jou alright, Mattheu?" She asked softly, sitting back down on the bed.
-
"'e is a bit in shock, and tired from running. Arthur vas 'olding onto Matthew's 'and vhen a zombie 'ad grabbed onto their arm. Making Arthur 'ave to run the other way after 'e pushed Matthew away from the zombie." Francis explained.
-
Maria's eyes widened"So Arzhur's nit vith jou?" She asked, obviously nervous. Arthur could be the father of her child! He needed to be here.
-
"Non, 'e isn't. Ve don't know vhere 'e vent. I think 'e is still running." Francis looked at the ground, really wishing that he could have done something.
-
Maria's breathing hitched but she calmed herself. She lied back down on the bed, staring at the ceiling worriedly.
-
"He came back before, who says he won't again?" Alfred asked, trying to be optimistic. He smiled, brightly.
-
Maria nodded, looking over at Alfred"Jour right." She said softly, a smile if her own pulling st her lips.
