Her fur stood on end, legs wobbling due to her lack of walking experiences as she pressed one silver paw after another onto the warming sand. She was barely a moon old and yet here she was, leaving the ship. Gooseberry green eyes scanned the beach as Lastkit held her breath. It appeared no one was out there; no one to scold her or yell at the she-kit. She almost wished someone would come along and do so. Almost. You see, the femme had left the boat due to a childesh fear that gnawed at her belly. She was afraid of the waves hitting the boat. She couldn't comprehend what was so powerful that her home flinched at its touch, so here she was. Outside to fight the big, scary monster. Tossing one last glance over her shoulder, Lastkit scurried away, following the boat's exterior down to the ocean.
