Mayshadow flicked her tail, squirming uncomfortably. "They shouldn't have taken ours, we didn't even get to name our poor daughters..." She rasped, heart throbbing in pain. "Leafpaw... He's odd, yes. It's not just that though." She persisted, green eyes glittering with worry. "All of the Clan talks about him and it makes me want to... He notices it, too! Heatherpaw is the same way, they all talk about those two." She murmured, letting out a sigh. "Adderbite, give Watcher a break. He was young when he left the Clan, he felt like he wasn't needed here. Those rouges made him feel wanted, apparently. Look at him now! He's a warrior, a mentor, a trusted warrior at that. He's bad tempered, yes but what blind cat isn't? I believe he is the best mentor available for Leafpaw. He needs someone who is going to show him the real world, not the spoiled world. Give him a break, a lot of cats mistrust him. I know he's been involved in a lot of bad things, but Watcher is my brother. He is just... Give him a break."
Leafpaw laughed, shaking out his calico pelt. "Fine. Watcher will punish us all I guess!" He joked, tail flicking with worry. He didn't want to push his mentors buttons any more than he did last night. "Twigpaw, you're as skinny as a twig!" He nudged the older apprentices shoulder, stumbling a bit himself.
