Basics:
Winterclan's territory is a large forest and parts of a mountain,most of which is covered in snow three fourths of the year, the summer months are not as warm as most other places on the earth but the clan uses the time wisely to stock up food. Their main prey are rabbits, birds, and fish. In the mountains cats do have to keep an eye out for eagles and mountain lions. In the forest there are some foxes, badgers, and the occasional wolf.

History:
Many cats would live in the forest as loners and rogues. There was on cat and his name was Winter, he believed that the cats of the forest would do better if they lived as a united force. So he gathered together as many cats as he could and he started Winterclan.

Religion:
These cats do not believe in specifically Starclan. They believe that the deceased or what they call ancestors live within the Sacred Cave. Medicine Cats must visit the ancestors on every quarter moon to speak with them and receive any messages. Leaders must go every new moon when it is the darkest to be given advice or message. Other cats may go and speak to the ancestors whenever they wish, except for when the Medicine Cat or the Leader is there on the quarter or new moons.

Ceremonies:
Apprentice Ceremony- When a kit becomes an apprentice. Everyone gathers in the center of camp and the leader give the kit it's apprentice name and it's mentor.
Warrior Ceremony- When an apprentice becomes a warrior. The leader takes the apprentice to the Sacred Cave and performs the ceremony in front of the ancestors so they can see. Only the apprentice's kin and mentor may come to see the ceremony. Once the apprentice becomes a warrior it must stay in the Sacred Cave until morning.
Leader's Death- This ceremony is very important. When the leader dies, it must be taken to the Sacred Cave for the ancestors to accept it's soul into the afterlife. All cats who want to attend will be allowed and the can stay for a silent vigil all night until the sunrises, when the body is buried. The deputy then goes to the ancestors to receive it's nine lives.

Eclipsestar is a very playful and fun loving she-cat. She does not believe that being serious all the time will bring her greatness. She is very caring and sweet. She is very good with the younger cats in the clan. She loves kitten and still really hasn't lost her inner kit. It takes quite a lot to make her angry or to seem unsettled. Wireclaw is practically the opposite of her sister, Eclipestar, she is a very sharp tongued individual. She hates kits and would much rather be out hunting or defending her clan that sitting around in the nursery with kits. She is very devoted to her clan and would do anything to protect it.
