  • Jareth growled and fumed at the broken mirror. He glared at the wrecked walls of the labyrinth. His Labyrinth. This wasn't supposed to be how it ended. She was supposed to fear him. Love him. Do as he said. And he would be her slave. And she just rejected him. For what? The child. But Jareth, truth be told, felt no mirth towards the infant. He was only a babe.

He would have his revenge. Even if that meant having Sarah submit to him, by force.

    or does it?

    3 years later......

  • It was a beautiful summer day. School was thankfully out. The heat had come and almost everyone was at the local pool park. Except Sarah Williams. She was currently at home, watching her youngest brother. It had been excalty three years since Sarah had returned from the Labyrinth. And, she didn't forget it. In fact, that seem to be what was on her mind as she went on with her life. Sarah moved about the kitchen, cleaning Up Toby's mess. Toby, who currently was 3 years of age, was running around the living room, playing with an air plane.

Sarah smiled at her brother. She had became a lot closer to him due to the past events. She learned to love her brother and became even more protective of him. Sarah dumped dishes into the sink. She would clean them up later. Walking into the living room, she sat on the couch, watching Toby run around.

Jareth sighed irritably. The goblins were running amock around the castle again. There were bits of rotted food and veg hanging about the throne room. Ale was spilled in various places, and there were small fistfights everywhere. Even if they can be considered fistfights... he thought miserably to himself.

Closing his eyes, Jareth reminisced on memories of Sarah. The only thing that kept him sane now. He sighed, imagining the raven black of her hair, the pale emerald of her eyes, her pale complexion...her spunk. Her fire. Never would the Goblin King admit it, but even if she was 15 at the time, the girl was a full-fledged beauty...in more than one aspect.(If you catch his drift)

"Sire! Sire!" A Goblin burst through the throne room, snapping Jareth out of his reverie. "Yes?" He hissed in annoyance.

  • Sarah closed her eyes as Toby continued to play. It was strange......It seemed ages ago. Though she remembered it like it was yesterday. Running through the Labyrinth. Dodging goblins. Making new friends. Her chest began to hurt and felt like a cold hand was squeezing her heart. She gulped and got up, walking to the kitchen for a glass of water. She missed her friends. So much that it hurt. As she filled up a glass, she thought about Hoggle and Ludo and Sir Diymus. Taking a shaky breath, Sarah brought the edge of the cup to her lips, taking long gulps.

Toby's voice could be heard from the other room, "Sarah! Sarah!"

"Coming," She muttered as she walked over to her brother. He was now sitting on the floor with his crayons. I wish.....I wish.....I wish they were here. I wish.... Sarah thought to herself as Toby grinned up at her and held his picture.
She stared at and barely noticed the glass as it slipped fro her hand and shattered all over the floor.Jareth.

  • That was all it took. Those words.

Jareth grinned like Cheshire cat, a wolfish grin plastered on his face. Internally, he registered where he was. But he already knew. Oh yes, he knew very well where he was. Sarah Williams' Parlour room. He glanced around him, looking at the sofa, the paintings that were mounted on the wall, the old china cabinet in the corner. He only remembered some pieces of this room from that night. When he flew out in totem form.

Jareth's eyes then settled on the raven haired beauty before him. She had grown since he last saw her. All traces of the childish girl from before gone. Now they were replaced with the marks of womanhood. But either way, to him, she would always be his precious, little Sarah.

"Hello, Sarah. Miss me?" He said cockily, in a silk-like voice. That trademark cultured accent.

  • As soon as she thought the words, Sarah realized what she had done. The room suddenly felt stranger and eerie. Goosebumps popped up along her skin, making it striven. Sarah didn't need to turn around to know who it was. Her heart went cold and she whipped around, her green eyes wide with surprise. Toby poked his head from behind Sarah, his own blue eyes wide with curiosity. Sarah stepped protectively in front of Toby.

"You," She whispered, but then shook her thoughts and surprise away. Her green eyes narrowed dangerously, "Go away. I played your game and I won. I don't care to play again."

  • "My, my Sarah. You misunderstand. You wished me here. You said my name. So here I am, and by the laws I am bound by, I have to take you back with me." He drawled matter-of-factly. On the inside, the Goblin King was squealing with delight. Sarah was even more beautiful than he last remembered.

And the laws of the Underground state that, should a runner wish for him, they came immediately under his power. They wished for him to have power over them again. "Sarah, please love." He said more softly this time, "My...how you have grown." He whispered thoughtfully to himself. Jareth screamed at his inner mind for letting his emotions to begin to show through.

"I would never hurt you...or Little Jareth." He regarded Toby with a loving look. "He still has my eyes."

  • Sarah felt fury instead of fear rise in her chest. Toby went to stand and go greet the newcomer, but Sarah held an arm in front of him, preventing him from going. "He isn't yours. He never was to begin with." Sarah was unaware of the law. If she would have known though, Sarah probably would have been more careful of what she thought. Sarah was not one to let someone have power of her. And, she wasn't going to start now. His soft voice was suppose to calm her. To comfort her. But, Sarah was far from comfort or calm. She was p*ssed, more at herself than anyone.

  • Jareth's face went stone cold. He only meant the comments in light jest. But that was besides the point. Jareth folded his arms across his chest, "What's said is said." He growled. "Your coming with me, you don't have a choice. And before you go whining the 'It isn't fair', I warn you, you got yourself into this." He paused. "You, Sarah Williams, wished me here."

That was one of the most simplest ways Jareth could put it, without the conversation being a 3 hour tour. "Sarah...You have to understand." Gods Jareth, get a grip!

  • "I didn't say anything. I thought it. And, I wasn't wishing you here. I wished for....." She stopped short. Why was she even saying this to Jareth? The last person she wanted to talk to? She shook her head stubbornly, grinning, "You said yourself, Life isn't fair. Well, take your own words as advise. Toby is not going with you. I'm not coming with you. And that is finale." Though, Sarah wasn't sure how this was going to turn out. He did have powers. She was just a human. Last time she had the advantage for some reason. This time, she didn't. Anything could happen.

  • Jareth was beginning to lose his patience with Sarah. In a flash, he was in front of Sarah, and he had managed to pin her against the wall. An arm on each side stopping her from moving. Jareth inched his face very close to hers. "Sarah, you are coming with me, and that is final." He mocked. Although neither of them noticed how close the proximity of their lips were....

Jareth sighed, and bowed his head in frustration. What was happening to him? Why was he being so...open? So emotional? Where did his cocky, half-assed demeanor go? The Aboveground was probably messing with him.."Sarah look, I have as much say in this as you do. Those are the rules. And all Fae have to abide by them. Even me." He murmured into her ear. "Toby stays...unless of course you would like to bring him...The point is, is when a runner wishes for say, me, to come back, the whole 'You have no power over me' becomes revoked and given to me."

Jareth grinned misceviously. "Like it or not precious, I have power over you."

  • It all happened too fast for Sarah to comprehend. First, Jareth was standing a few feet from her and then next, she felt her back slam against the wall and Jareth towering over her. Toby began to cry and Sarah closed her eyes and moved her head away from his. Part of her was itching to punch or kick him, but she found that she was frozen.

What part of she didn't wish him here did he and Fae not understand? Clarly, Sarah saw she didn't have much of a say in the matter. Instead, she opened her eyes to glare at him, "I will go," She said firmly. Mostly because Toby was here. "Toby stays here." For a moment, she thought over about what had Jareth had said before replying, "You will never have power over me. I don't care what you or the rules say."

  • Jareth smiled, his lips upturned into a smirk, but what she said...hurt him? Where did his all powerful mighty Goblin King image go? The one that struck fear into the hearts of his subjects with just a simple action as blinking? Apparently, gone. When it comes to Sarah Williams.

"Good. Believe me, don't sound so hard..." He said silkily, trying to mask his frustrated pain. "It's only forever, not long at all. You will be treated with the finest of luxuries, but Sarah beware. I can be cruel, and I can be generous. Do not mistake my kindness for weakness."

  • "You don't scare me.....So stop trying to," Sarah found herself snapping. She shoved past him, walking over to Toby. She picked him up and hugged him before placing him on the couch. Lucky for Toby and Sarah, their parents would be home soon enough. Toby wouldn't be on his own for long. Sarah kissed his forehead before turning back to Jareth, arms crossed across her chest.

  • A look of shock passed over Jareth's face, but it quickly subsided as he turned to look at Sarah. "You ready to go?" He asked harshly, his frustration showing through. If you are going to be this difficult I shall toss you into the Bog of Eternal Stench! He thought sourly. At least that was worse than an oubliette, for sure.

  • Sarah hide back a smirk. It was a good thing she was being difficult. Maybe he would get annoyed with her and let her go. It wasn't much of a hope, but it as some. "Yes," She muttered, "Ready as I will ever be." She looked back at Toby, who was staring at her and Jareth.

  • Jareth groaned inwardly, and with a snap of his fingers, they were gone.

And inside a large, ornate bedroom. There was luxury furniture in one corner, and a four post bed off to the side. A vanity sat near the door, and washroom behind them. Jareth sighed irritably, but his irritation subsided when he looked thoughtfully at Sarah. He drank in her curves and they way her lips where just the right rosy color. Oh how he wanted her, how the Goblin King wanted her.

  • Sarah looked around the room and shifted uncomfortably. Her eyes fell to the window and she walked towards it. Staring out of it, she recognized the Labyrinth. It had not changed much. At least in her eyes. She secretly hoped her friends were out there and okay. She wasn't sure about their fate once she had defied Jareth ad left the Labyrinth.

  • Jareth followed her, standing directly behind her as she gazed out over the labyrinth. He didn't know what she was thinking, but the aura that radiated off her made him realize she was thinking about her friends. "Sarah, I didn't hurt them." He whispered softly. Jareth, get a hold of yourself dammit! Stop being so soft!

  • Sarah jumped slightly as she heard his voice, but soon relaxed. She should be used to him sneaking up on her. But, that wasn't the case. Sara nodded, not speaking as she watched the Labyrinth for a few more moments. She wanted to move away from the window and Jareth, but he happened to be in her way. And, she certainly didn't want to turn around. Because they would be literally face to face again.
