    Recap: Thrushkit and Quietkit were out in the territory and got attacked by a fox. Emeraldstar stepped down and became a loner. Ripplefur is leaving soon to get his nine lives and name.

    Leafpaw stared off in the distance, until her nose twitched. It was a, familiar scent, but not a good one: blood. Her eyes widened, and she followed the scent until it became strong, and found Quietkit. She gasped and gently scooped up the kit by their scruff, careful to not cause any more pain that it was already in, and raced back to camp swiftly. She gently set the kit down, and lifted her muzzle. "Injured kit!" she yowled, not knowing if the med. was anywhere.

    Leafpaw nodded, and sped off. Her heart raced as she searched for Echosong. her ears were flattened, and her tail seemed to lash violently with fear.

    Echosng rushed out of her den, "What in the name of- Oh my.." The Medicine cat looked at Forestfire and Leafpaw, and hissed urgently. "Take them to my den! And hurry!"


    Quietkit heard voices, but she couldn't quite identify them. Then, she heard a noise, a whistle perhaps, and it felt like it was summoning her somewhere..


    Darkness. It was the only thing Quietkit saw in her aqua-blue eyes. Then she saw the misty outlines of her parents, and Quietkit cried out, "Mother, Father!" She dashed over to them but the images faded. Suddenly, tears started to trickle down her cheeks. A-Am I dead..? No! It can't be! I want to stay alive! I want stay with Leafkit and Thrushkit! I can't leave them!


    Leafkit saw her cousin/sister and gasped, "Quietkit!"

    Leafpaw helped take Quietkit to te medic den, her eyes clouding with worry. She gently set her down at a nest, and stepped out of the den, sitting right outside the entrance.
