  • stonepaw snapped awake he had dreamed of the day he was told his parents died he stood stiffly and walked toward the exit of camp

  • "I'm good," the deputy meowed, flicking his tail. He took a few more bites and said, "You can have the rest if you'd like."

Tawnybird padded over to Stonepaw. "You okay?" asked the queen.

  • Ivypool shook her head and set her head on her paws. The gray tabby and white she-kit flopped onto her back. "Ripplefur, question?"

  • "Do you like anyone, I mean, love them?" Ivypool asked, staring at the sky. She could imagine his face in the clouds, sneering. 'Certainly not you, you're ugly.' Is what he would say.

  • Dawnheart nodded. "Sure. Not much to do in camp today anyway." She mewed flicking her ears. The tabby stood up stretching, and flexed her claws before standing up straight. "Well, lets go then." She said offering a smile. The fae then started towards the entrance.

  • Ripplefur thought for a moment. "Hmm... I've been so wrapped up in duties, I haven't really thought about it at all," he mewed thoughtfully. He stood up. "Want to go hunting?" he asked, tail flicking.

  • Ripplefur shrugged. "Sure, why not!" he mewed, padding out of camp after her. As they walked, he breathed in the scents of early leaf-fall. He could smell prey too.

  • "Thanks." Ivypool beamed at the praise of the deputy. She dug a hole, put her catch in it, and filled the hole up. "Continue on."

  • Dawnheart stalked into the undergrowth at the scent of a thrush. She crouched down arching her ears forward to hear the tiny flapping of its wing then the thump of it landing. It was a juicy one. She could tell by how much sound it made. Eventually she was able to make out the white bundle of feathers nibbling on something. She creeped forward and once close enough, she put all her weight on her haunches. Without hesitation she leaped catching it as it struggled to fly away because of it fat body. She killed it with a simple nip to the neck before picking it up and prodding back to Icesoul. She buried it before scenting the air for more prey.
