    On the night of September 4th, 2009, Alison DiLaurentus went missing from a sleepover with her best friend Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Emily Fields, and Hanna Marin. A year later, her body is found buried in her own old backyard, and her missing persons investigation turns into a murder investigation. But after the body is found, the friends Alison left behind start receiving notes from someone who is calling themselves 'A,' and the true fun begins.

    MY CHARACTER


    SPENCER HASTINGS



    "No!" I knew Ian was stronger than me, so I wasn't going to beat him with muscle, but I thought maybe, just maybe, I could talk him out of what he was about to do.
    "If you loved my sister you wouldn't do this!" I yelled, fighting with all of my strength to stay on the platform. Maybe Melissa was his weak spot. Just maybe.
    "I'm doing this because I love her," he yelled back at me, and as I felt myself go over the edge, I saw them- A. I knew they were going to just stomp on my fingers so I would let go and fall to my death, but something very strange happened: Ian looked up and yelled "What are you doing here?" and A threw him off the platform. Then just left. Just like that. I wanted to see his/her face, I wanted to know who had saved me, but they just left. So all I could do was pull myself up and hold onto one of the columns and wait for someone to find me.
