Okay, so Ive been thinking about this dark guild ^^ and their motivations. Okay, bare with me, lol this may be rambling and convoluted XD
They're respective members go by "Tenants" such as the "Tenant of Despair" (my character in the Dark Guild), their tenants uphold that 'virtue' of the tenant they represent, which is why thats their tenant.. lol
Mesh has had dealings, well not dealings, but yeah, with the dark guild before, in fact, its where she was "trained". My character the Tenant of Despair, trained her using his "Despair Magic" which cast her into a magical domain called the 'Great Deluge'. Where she had to battle demons and monsters, and had to be tested every waking moment (its why shes currently an S rank mage). One day she escaped this torturous prison, and ran away. She didn't know where she had been, or who had put her there (or that someone in fact did put her there).
No shes not a spy, or nothing, or evil or anything. And this entire thing doesn't have to do with Mesh, its just apart of her backstory.
Instead, the guild - The Great Deluge (they get the namesake from that place). Hates Fairy Tail, they despise Fairy Tail, and this is why there is no previous Fairy Tail members around, because this Dark Guild battled with them in the past, then ended up tossing them all into the Great Deluge. Theyve recently been told Fairy Tail is thriving again, and such, by their spies, or what have you. And they don't want the "Strongest Guild in all of Fiore" to rise up again, because that threatens their superiority.
So thats why theyre after Fairy Tail again?
Sound good? Or a lot of hogwash? lol
Also, when -and if- we beat them, and find the Great Deluge magical dimension thing... we may discover that the previous Fairy Tail people are all 'darkened', from being in there for so long, much like Mesh has a darkness inside her. Something like that? XD to add drama xP
That was my idea for the Dark Guild. For instance, heres my bio for the Dark Guild mage XD
Name: "The Tenant of Despair", Ichabod Nox
Age: 31
Appearance:![]()
A dark wizard, with a brooding look to him. He has fairly lengthy white hair. From his nefarious ways and darker magic arts, his skin has long since paled, to a deathly blue shade. He has dead blue eyes, and black markings under them. His outfit is haunting, dramatic, and hair-raising.
Personality:
Ichabod is a rather nasty fellow. He enjoys torment and torture, and harming others mentally, as opposed to physically. He prefers the wearing down of the mind. If he can crush his opponent's soul and will to fight, then he will attempt to do so. Doing such, gives the man great pleasure, and he thrives on others despair. He is also a smart man, able to formulate tactics, and battle strategy. That being said, he does make his fair of mistakes, and is overly confident in his abilities as a dark mage.
His attitude is often foul. He considers himself better than most, and especially better than those outside the dark guild he belongs to.
Magic:
As the 'Tenant of Despair', naturally, Ichabod has 'Despair magic'. It allows him to toss people into the void that is the Great Deluge. A treacherous place inhabited by the nightmares of whoever is thrown into it. Furthermore, the more nastier ability of his magic, allows Ichabod to bring his opponents to their knees, their heads filled with nightmarish thoughts and horror. He can instill despair and terror into someone, breaking them down mentally. As his magic is more 'mind-gamey' in nature, it does leave him fairy open and weak to full frontal attacks, that involve hand to hand. That type of fighting style isn't suited to Ichabod much.
History:
Ichabod is one of the founding members of the Dark Guild 'the Great Deluge'. As he knows of that treacherous plain, the guild gets its name from. Once, the man opened his heart, and took on a little girl as his adopted daughter. Self-adopted really. Nothing legal there. He sent the girl's mind to the Great Deluge, to train her, hoping one day she would join his guild. The day she broke free and escaped, Ichabod's heart broke, and he swore to never let such a thing happen again. Turning completely over to the darkness inside.
Anyways, thats just my idea on the Dark Guild, and my character for it if that were to be the case. ^^
