  • oocx~ sorry if I can't reply right now, because I'm kind of rushing to get 10 things done at once for tomorrow

  • Take your time, no need to rush.

  • Happy Sweet Sixteen. Have fun!

  • No problem, again.

    I will await your return.

  • Then it is your turn to reply.

  • Nodding in reply, Sky continued along the narrow patch, carefully placing one hoof in front of the other. One clumsy mistake would lead to slipping, which would lead to falling, which would lead to lost time and injury.

A slight shiver ran down the stallion's spine as a chunk of ice slipped from underneath his hoof. He quickly reacted, however, removing his hoof from the block of ice before it began it's decent toward the ground. Letting out a sigh of relief, Sky glanced back to check if Mint was alright.

She flicked her ears, noticing that Sky was watching her. "I'm fine, you can continue, you know."

  • "Alright." Sky replied simply before turning back to the path. Every hoof step was accompanied with a crunch of snow beneath his hoof as he shimmied along. It did not seem to be any more ice along the ledge, the stallion noticed.

"How long is the tunnel?" Sky asked himself, letting a sigh escape his mouth.

  • Mint continued along the tunnel after Sky, keeping one eye on the snow and ice beneath her hooves as it began to thin out

  • About half way down the cliff side Sky noticed something moving. It was not the snow that the two ponies were kicking off, Sky noted, but something much larger. Though visibility was shortened due to the snowfall that was pounding down on them, the dark colored shape was easily seen through the white coated drop.

"Did you see that?" Sky asked Mint, stopping momentarily to point down the hill.

  • "I saw it, but what is it anyway?" She asked curiously, stopping a few feet behind him and staring at it. "Maybe some sort of timberwolf or pony?"

  • "We are close to Fillydelphia's forest. It might be a Timberwolf." Sky agreed with Mint, though he did not sound happy that it was a Timberwolf. Now, if one of them were to fall, they would end up in the jaws of a wooden beast, ending their life quickly.

"Let's keep moving. The sooner we get out of here, the sooner I can breath properly..." A rugged sigh escaped the stallion as he continued to shimmy along the ledge.

  • She continued on after him without another word, glancing down at the dark form of the thing that had fallen down the hill and looking away.

  • After shimmying all the way across the length of the tunnel, Sky's hooves finally touched the flat surface outside the other end of the tunnel. A sigh of thankfulness escaped his mouth as he practically fell to his haunches to kiss the snowy ground.

"I will never leave you again." He promised between kisses. As his muzzle pulled away from the white ground, several clumps had clung to his fur, coating his muzzle in cold, white snow.

"We can stick to the train rails the rest of the way." Sky pointed out as he shook the clumps of snow from his muzzle.

  • "Okay, now that's just weird." She thought, watching him kiss the ground and rolling her eyes. "You know, there's still some snow on your face. And I'm fine with that idea."

  • Shaking his muzzle a few more times, he began to paw at his muzzle with his hoof in attempt to shake the remaining snow off. Once his fur was snow-free, he lead the way toward the train tracks.

  • Mint silently followed him again towards the train tracks, hesitantly stopping a few feet later. "This is going to get us there how fast?"

  • "As fast as we can. There are no more tunnels along the path, so we will be able to walk the whole way there without worrying about obstacles." Sky responded over his shoulder as he continued to walk, only to stop when he noticed the mailmare stopping.

Turning to face Mint, his head tilted slightly, his blue eyes shining with concern and confusion. "Are you alright?" He asked.
