    "S-skyshadow?" She murmured then gasped for breath, choking and coughing, but somehow in the most unusual delicate way.
    "Water." She whispered then coughed some more.

    ☆IC; Before she could say another word, Skyshadow dashed out of the nursery and went to the medicine cat's den for some moss. Finding it quicker to take some from his nest, he left camp at full sprint, nearing the stream that curved towards camp.




    Turtlekit was still silent.




    Creamkit seemed to be crying.

    IC: Whisperleaf stopped breathing after a couple of seconds. There was nothing the medicine cat could've done...Whisperleaf was dead! Her heart stopped it's beat, and her last thought was: Goodbye Skyshadow...goodbye kits. I loved our time together..

    ☆IC; Skyshadow returned to the den, dripping moss in his jaws. He panted and almost stopped breathing when he saw Whisperleaf. Her chest was not moving. He walked over, completely dropping the moss. He licked Creekkit's head and then took the moss to clean up the blood she had coughed up. He felt like crying. His second mate had died.




    Turtlekit and Creamkit were now buried in their mother's fur, both crying and scared.




    Their mother covered them with her tail, her eyes glazed as well. She looked over at Creekkit and Skyshadow, feeling horrible.

    Riverkit sat at the back of the nursery. He never saw his mother's face but he knew she was beautiful. He started crying thinking about her.

    Creekkit looked up, and noticed Riverkit sitting in the corner. She walked over to comfort him as best as she could.

    Patchkit stayed with Whisperleaf until moonhigh. "Whisperleaf, don't leave me, please." she whispered in the queen's ear. Patchkit licked her mom's soft, warm pelt all night.

    OOC: Hmmm..... What about the HornetkitXCreekkit thingy?


    IC: Creekkit wondered the same thing as she sat beside her brother in silence.
