    Ignition Team--Lead Dog--Female--Siberian Husky

I hesitantly nodded the sunset furred dog. "If you say so," Looking down to my paw, I lowered my head, opening my jaws. Smoothly fastening my teeth around the damaged piece, I started to pull, but a large wave of pain washed over me. "I can't do it!" I squeaked, with a whimper following the small cry.

ll Finn ll Brute ll Team Dog ll The Hitmen ll

Sitting back on his haunches, under the over of the deep shade, Finn a Team dog from 'The Hitmen' that was soon to part-take in one of the biggest sledding races, parted his lips in a long, deep yawn. Blinking his optics gently, the grey Siberian Husky gave a pointless bark towards Derrick; his musher. The brute hadn't really been paying attention to the past few minutes around the pool, but what he knew he wanted to do was jump into the pool and swim around. However he was terrified of burning his feet on the exposed flooring. He wasn't a fan on the heat and the water was the only thing that cooled him down to the point where he then wanted to warm up.

Lifting from his haunches, the Husky stared towards the pool. His mind flickered and it seemed the world was then moving fast, spinning around and around unstoppably. Once his mind had settled and the world had calmed and he could see clearly through the blinding rays of light bouncing off the pool to blind him the brute readied himself. Crouching he gave a deep inhale before, sprinting directly towards the pool. To his surprise his pads didn't burn, but they began to heat up and tingled with the slight feeling of warmth. However he didn't stop, near the edge of the pool he leapt high in the air, taking a deep breath until he fell in with a loud SPLASH.

Popping up to the surface, he began paddling around, now relaxed and calm. His fur was stuck to his skin and his eyes slightly blurry from the chlorine-filled water that had sneakily made it's way into his pair of eyes. Propelling himself to the shallow-end of the swimming pool, he stood on the very last step that was still being washed over with water. Shaking out his pelt, he felt the soothing sound of water splattering everywhere: The wall, the floor. Taking a seat on the step he released a sigh, the sun still relentlessly beating down on his coat, but the water lapping at his paws cooling his entire body down, in one lap every 2 or so seconds.

"Oh gosh! I'm so sorry, Tikaani! Would you like me to... um, help you?" I asked softly, lightly prodding her paw in comfort. I didn't want her to cry! That was the only way I knew how to take care of broken claws. Whining, I slowly got to my paws and padded over to the window that was behind the truck. I pawed at it, hoping Caleb would hear me. If I couldn't help Tik, then Caleb would be able to, wouldn't he? He always helped me when I was hurt, but I didn't know if he'd ever helped me with a broken claw. Once I was pretty sure Caleb had heard me, I walked back over to Tikaani.

He had been sleeping in, so much he didn't give his friends a Good Morning or a Hello. Not long after moving around the pool, he was addressed with a slosh of water from Finn's pelt. "Well hello Finn." he greeted him politely. "I'd join you, but I'd likely slip, and drown in the kitty pool section of the pool." he said with a sarcastic tone to his voice. ll Finn ll Brute ll Team Dog ll The Hitmen ll

"Finn's ears perked to a familiar voice. Bosco. The brute's tail gave a brisk twitch as the water surfed over his paws again, sending a quick shiver down the back of his spine. He turned to Bosco, who was now sitting beside him, he wasn't the best at carrying a conversation. But he soon figured Bosco wasn't going to leave him to his own thoughts. "Don't sweat it, Bosco," Finn reassured, lifting apaw and awkwardly patting the brute on the back.

He felt odd for the next few seconds where there was silence, he decided that he should keep the conversation going to amuse his fellow team mate. "Sooooo... excited for the big race coming up, soon?" he enquired with a small twitch to the ear and sniff from his nose. He had to be honest the race had had him, on his heels when his team trained, which was rare since they lived somewhere where it happened to be hot and there would be little chance of snow fall.

  • Marble listened then to Bosco and Finn, his ears switching over from Cody and Mudd to Finn and Bosco in mild interest. He dove under with a splash and resurfaced again, his paws sending water droplets spraying the water around him. He yipped and kicked out his hind legs, deciding to swim in circles again. He stuck to the deep end, shaking his ear when water got in it briefly. "The big race." He said wonderingly, imagining his team racing other teams in the snowy terrain.

    ||Siku||Female||3 years||Swing Dog||The Glide||[justify][size=9pt]
Siku have a small woof for the fea running alongside the truck. She smiled, her tail swaying against her haunches gently. Her attention was taken from watching the running dog by a light blue and black butterfly that somehow landed in the truck. Siku laid down to watch the creature who was having a tough time staying upwards through the wind.

(I don't know what to say with her)
(When can we get to the trail?)
(And like for the training in Alaska after awhile would we have a time skip?)

I just love the competitive environment." Bosco took a moment to contemplate about what would happen to his sled mates in the race. Bosco sighed, "I like racing, but I just hope for no one to get hurt. Us, and the other two teams. I genuinely have a bad feeling for some reason..." He fiddled his paws, and sighed. "Maybe it's just me taking this race too seriously. I don't want to come off as arrogant. I'll just be happy to be at our cabin, and to be able to race." Suddenly Bosco's expression changed immensely. "But let's not worry about that!" Bosco grinned, and became wider at the thought of being with his friends. "Let's have fun, relax, and just chill out."[/fancypost] [fancypost bgcolor= #0E1824; bordercolor= COLOR; borderwidth= 2px; border-top: 0px solid transparent; border-left: 2px dashed white; border-bottom: 0px solid transparent; border-right: 2px dashed white; border-radius: 20px; width: 110px; color: white; font-family: times new roman; overflow:auto; height: 270px;][justify]
ooc) Marble you can always jump into Finn and Bosco's conversastion! C:[/fancypost]
  • No longer trying to be sneaky, Mudd let out a delighted bark and raced head-first into Cyril, shoving his entire weight onto the unsuspecting dog. At first, Cyril resisted, stiffening up as he realized what was happening. Then, as Cody put everything he had on Cyril, the dog finally gave in, splashing, undignified, into the pool. Grinning, Mudd let loose a short howl, and jumped in after the two dogs. Water swirled around him for a second, before Mudd surfaced and looked to where Cody was grinning at an un-amused Cyril. "HaHA!" Mudd laughed. It was goof to be with friends.

  • OOC: Marble can be a bit of a peeper. ::)

IC: Trinket had to slow to a trot to catch her breath, yipping when she could clearly see Siku among the others on the Glide. She put on a second burst of speed and reached the truck's side, keeping her pace slightly behind because she couldn't entirely keep up. She heaved a deep breath, the truck thankfully not going too too fast. Her heart thrummed in her chest, forcing out longer breaths and making her legs sore. She'd be dragging by the time the truck stopped, she was sure.

Marble finally decided to stop steering clear of everyone and swam over to Bosco and Finn, his tail wagging halfway out of the water. "It's always nice to have a pool, huh?" He said with a lap of his tongue, letting it hang out a little while longer before sucking in some air. He turned rapidly from Bosco to Finn and back again, paddling quickly around them in a circle.

"Just jump in!" Siku noticed the struggling female. "Your soo close! Just come on!" She called encouragingly. Her tail waged in anticipation and she yipped again, shakily walking over to the edge of the truck and trying to see if she could get the latch of the door-thingy down. How do I do this? She whined a bit in frustration, thinking hard.

    [/fancypost]

  • "Here goes." Trinket said breathlessly, her words hardly more than a whisper. Siku's encouragement got her going, her legs pumping and nearly giving out when she tensed up for a leap. She dug her claws into the ground, hoping to a grip on the top part of the truck's rear latch to at least get her front paws on the thing. She pushed upwards and got a good grip on the bck of the truck, her hind legs scrambling for a good grip before she found a hold. She then lurched backwards to bring more force forwards, barreling up and over into the truck face first.

For some people at least. I can't swim." he said as he shuffled out of the water and onto the edge of the pool to keep his distance from some of the mischievous dogs in the pool. He laid down beside the pool, "I enjoy the pool though. Very tranquil... Sometimes quiet." Bosco picked the wrong time to say that when Cyril took a big shove into the pool by Cody and Mudd. He smiled, "How are you two doing?" "Good job!" Siku praised the she-dog, a wide smile plastered to her expression. "That must of token a lot out of you..." She gave an even bigger smile, nudging the fea gently before sticking her head out of the truck bed, letting the wind blow her ears backwards. Siku gapped a yawn and blinked the air from her eyes; the force of the wind being strong made her feel queasy. A large shadow loomed overhead and she nervously looked up, her eyes widening cautiously. A large grey plane castes a shadow over the hills and then the truck as it flew by. She scented the air, wondering if the plane was too far away to sniff-Nope! It wasnt! Siku laughed in her head and inhaled the raw stench of gasoline and harsh scent of metal.

    [/fancypost]

  • Trinket let out a breathless bark, getting shakily to her paws and steadying herself from the leap. She sniffed the air and winced at the scent of gasoline and metal herself, not overly fond of it. She flattened out her ears and slid sideways on a turn, regaining a proper balance as she sat herself down. The wind buffeted her fur, making it stick up in every direction. "That was a bit much." She said with loll of her tongue.

I dunno. Maybe I was overreacting. All I knew was that my paw hurt like heck. I scooted over to Isabell, pressing my muzzle to her ear. "It's not your fault. It's completely my fault." I woofed with a faint grin, my tail thumping the ground in a happy wag. I felt like a terrible dog now. Blinking, my thoughts returned to my paw and I breathed a grunt of displeasure.
