Eli's ears perked as Caleb said something to them, motioning towards the truck. She leapt up into the back with Takaani and Isabelle. She parted her jaws in a wide yawn, catching a few snowflakes on her tongue. She whimpered softly, impatiently, crawling up in the truck to see if Caleb was bringing the frisbee. She loved playing with the frisbee, especially in the snow where it was a challenge to leap over snow drifts. Maybe Caleb would tie them up to tires and have them drag them through the snow to practice dragging the sled's weight. She did that when she was first trained to be a sleddog. It was hard work at first, and Eli didn't understand at the time, thinking it was a waste of energy to be pulling a stupid tire up and down the park field. Only later did she realize that it prepared for for the weight and work assossiated with pulling an actual sled, and was grateful.
