Pearl panted softly as she was outside in the heat, her blue scales gltiened in the sun as she helped back in the cave by her mate, her belly full of eggs she was carrying. The female wasn't feeling well, she was tired and laid on her bed of dry soft moss, she sighed softly as her mate pet her belly to make her feel better.
It's our life, we stay together no matter what. (Male mate needed!)

Drake softly patted her belly and he looked at her concerned. He also spoke concerned, "are you sure your ok? I didn't want you flying because of this."

She nodded, and curled her tail, her sickness was normal since pregnant animals always had to deal with this. Pearl licked her muzzle as she then nuzzled him. "Don't worry...i'm fine." The female spoke softly.

He nodded and he layed down outside of the nest and continued to rub her belly. He nuzzled her cheek, "is there anything else you need? Food? Water? Comfort?"

Pearl purred softly, she was hungry and smiled softly. "I am kind of hungry." She stretched some.

Drake smiled and stood up and he kissed her cheek. "Alright let me go find a good catch for you." With that he walked out of their lair and flew into the sky and began hunting.

She purred and rested heeyes some as she waited, her tail curled around her side.

Drake flew for a while till he came to a small opening in the forest and found a herd of deer. He flew down quickly chasing them and snagged two of them by their necks breaking them and he began to fly back. As he was flying back he noticed something hadn't before. He flew over a human camp and the humans spotted him. He flew as fast as he could back to their lair and he landed and walked inside and set the deer down next to her. "Here you are dear." He walked a little bit away from the nest and walked wall to wall, back and forth with him looking at the ground pacing.

She sat up on her belly and watch him for a second. "What's wrong?" Pearl asked.

He continued to pace for a little bit. Then he walked over to her and gently rubbed her side where the eggs were at and he looked at her concerned and worried. "There is a human camp not too far from here and they might know where we live. I don't want to see you and our eggs anywhere near danger. I just don't know how to go about it."

Her eyes widden some. "We can just move right?" Pearl grew scared.

He looked at her and sighed. "Yes we can but in your state right now. You will probably lay our eggs before we find another home."

She looked worried. "We could at least try." She offered.

He looked at her large swollen belly full of eggs. He nuzzled her cheek. "Ok but I want us to walk. I don't want you falling from the sky. But first eat. You will need the energy."

She nodded and began eating the deer, tearing it's belly open.

He kissed her cheek then sat down at the entrance and waited till she finished.

She soon was done, licking her muzzle. Pearl got up slowly and walked to the entrance where he was at and smiled.

Drake smiled at her and put his wing over and he kissed her cheek. "Alright. Lets go find a new home or atleast a good hiding spot for you to lay those eggs."

She smiled back softly. "Ok." Her yellow gold eyes lightened up.

Drake smiled and helped her to the grass. He kept her under his wing and close to his side as they traveled through the forest to keep their trail hidden.
