(Alright.)
Taj decided that he should inform Jake. He stood, walked out the door and whistled to catch Jake's attention. "Hey! Get in 'ere!" he called.
-
(I can't say anything about you not being on, it's not like I've been very reliable. hope things get better)
Jake turned at the whistle, he saw Taj a little bit away. He saw that something was on Taj, bandages? He began to walk closer to both see what Taj wanted and what they were.....definitely bandages, what happened? Jake got faster, Taj didn't seem in any immediate danger...thankfully
"What happened?!?!" he said when he got within speaking distance.
-
Taj smirked as he drew close, "Had a fight with giant, p*ssed mole-gods. I just wanted to tell you that I was right.. about... y'know... the Spider."
-
"Mole go- spider?! ok, first things first" he waited a second with his eyes closed "I'll worry about Arachas in a minute, how well are these wounds treated?" He was of course concerned with everything he said, but when someone walks up to you this injured you do something about it..... and mole-gods? really?
-
"They're fine." Taj shrugged, they sting a little... a lot. But that doesn't mean that I won't be fine. They're clean and wrapped. But we have more pressing concerns than a little pain on my part." Taj realized that he hadn't cleaned the bathroom, he mentally cursed himself but didn't let any of it show. He kept his smirk even.
-
"More important or not, what happened?! and do not say mole-gods" Jake was starting to get really worried, a million things that could have happened rushed through his head as he looked at Taj for an answer.
(You guys have no idea how sorry I am for no being on much anymore. I thought I would have time now but with some recent......realizations on my part.......my mind has been on other things.)
-
"Hey," Taj shrugged, "if I didn't tell you right out, I'm not gonna tell you at all. I'm going to stick to what I said. I guarantee that there's nothing dangerous hanging around the field, though."
-
"Ok, if you won't tell me at least sit down please?" he was genuinely worried for Taj, "Then we can talk about all of this stuff with you and Arachas" Jake's had real worry on his face as he spoke.
(not my best writing, I just pulled an all nighter... :\ )
-
(Well, I'm going back to school soon...I was awake until 2:30 AM and then I woke up at 7:00 AM...)
Esther sighed. "Everyone feels more stressed of recent," she told her brother.
"Not everyone, just a few people," he corrected, picking up a jacket and jeans with a turtle neck to boot.
"I suppose...taking a shower?"
"Yup. Remember to wear a hood, Esther. Extended time out in the sun is dangerous," Ojai told her seriously.
"I know, I know. We burn easily, you don't have to keep telling me, Ojai," Esther sighed, shaking her head. -
Taj shrugged, "Fine. I don't see why we shouldn't sit. But I suppose we'd better be in the cabin, eh?"
AJ saw Iellran standing just inside her cave and called out to her, "Hey! Miss... uh... what's your name?" he asked as he drew near.
-
(Ran went back to her cave, now she's just in the entrance...)
-
(I did not know. Oops. I'll edit that. Now-like.)
-
Ran looked up to stare at the person over there. She had seen them yesterday, at the forge. "I-I'm I-Iellran," she said shyly, taking a step back further into her cave. Always flinching back from people. With what seemed like a great effort she took two steps forward so that she was just outside the cave. "Y-" she swallowed, "you?"
-
"I'm AJ!" the young man tipped his hat, a grin on his face. "The blacksmith. Though I'm not often here these days. I was called back."
-
"Oh...why did you call out to me?" Iellran asked the fellow human. She leaned against the side of the entrance to the cave and let her brown gaze fall on the older person's forehead. She knew it was silly, but she was absorbing details about them, learning how to avoid them or how to keep a safe distance away, at least. She didn't like humans...or herself, really. Not after Tina's death.
"It's hardly a appropriate time for a chat," she told AJ. "So if you will, I'll be getting along back to my cave. I...I shouldn't be out this early, I shouldn't be out at all without a second or higher watching me." -
"Thought I recognized you." AJ explained, "Guess I was wrong. I'll probably see you around the field, eh?"
-
Ran shrugged and went back into her cave. With a sigh of relief she collapsed next to her bed.
-
AJ stared into the depths of the cave, "She's an odd one, ain't she? Aw, who are you asking AJ? The sky? People'll think you're crazy!"
-
Esther sighed and left her cave. She didn't need a shower. She flipped up a hood and looked around the field. "Eh?" she asked when she saw one of the people whose emotions seemed less...ordinary, so to speak. "¿Por qué estás aquí?" she asked in confusion before remembering to speak English. "Ah, I'm sorry, lo siento, but why are you out here?" she asked the stranger cautiously.
