"Because I said so!" The king responded.

He rolled his eyes and started to swim back to his room.
-
Alana
I was still asleep in his room. Someone had been nice enough to untie me, though, so my hands and feet weren't tied together anymore.
-
The prince cautiously opened his door. "Hello?"
-
Alana
Of course, I didn't respond. I wasn't gonna wake up till someone released me from the sleep spell that I was under.
-
He swam into the room and frowned. "Hello? Hey, wake up," he frowned.
-
Alana
I still didn't wake up. A maid swam into the room. "Is there something wrong your highness?" She questioned.
-
"Yeah. Why isn't she waking up?" He asked. "Is she dead?"
-
"Oh, of course not! She's under a sleeping spell. She didn't take it well when she found out she was to leave her family." The maid responded.
(Sorry I took so long to respond! I've been very sick recently)
-
(It's fine! Are you feeling better? How are you doing?)
"She never should have been taken away in the first place," he grunted. "How do I get the spell off?"
-
Alana
"I can fix that." The maid responded. She waved her hand and I started to wake up.
(Better than I was about a week ago. But with the illness I have, that can change really fast.)
-
(I see. I hope you get better soon.)
The prince just watched her wake up, a blank expression on his face.
-
Alana
The maid left the room. I groaned, struggling to sit up. I was still weak from the sleeping spell.
(Thanks.)
-
"Are you alright?" He finally asked Alana.
-
Alana
"I-i'm not sure." I responded. When I had almost pushed myself up to a sitting position, I collapsed on the bed again, exhausted.
-
"Just rest. It will be a while to adjust to ocean pressures," he explained.
-
Alana
I closed my eyes, too tired to say anything else.
-
"Just rest," he told her, leaving the room. He had seen her, talked to her. His father could send her home now.
-
Alana
I fell asleep.
-
The young prince went back to see his father.
