  • Fernstep padded castiously onto Thunderclan territory. Everysince the quarrel with Yewpaw he had belived he didn't belong in shdowclan. He didn't belong there, no. But something here psuhed him forwasrd within each step, he was connected to the delicate forest sounds of Thunderclan. But why? He had been born in Shadowclan, and raised there as there own. But his soft side made others think he was diffrent. The soft side he had hid for so long . . .

  • The gray femme slipped out of the shadows of the medicine den, freezing on the spot when she saw Fernstep. Dustblaze padded over to the ShadowClan cat and hissed, "What are you doing here?" This tom was vaguely familiar to the one who had been at the fight; if he were the same one she would claw his ears off.
ooc: If it's private, it has to go in the private board, doesn't it? Should we recreate it or wait for it to be moved?

  • Fernstep heard footstep and turned to see the same she-cat he had quarreled with earlier. "Oh, I'm just passing thourgh." He said, trying to act and look confident. He tryed to keep his fur flat as he could. "I need to go check something past over there," He pointed with his tail way beyong the clans. "I just suggested that if I skip through here, then I'll get there easyer." His heart was beating fast with fear, hoping the she-cat wouldn't notice that this was all a lie.

[[ I don't know . . I never done anything Private with the for main clans yet. I'll just check with on of the mods and ask them to move it f we have too. ]]

  • The gray she-cat eyed the tom warily. "Mmhmm," she grumbled, "just what do you plan on checking?" Dustblaze licked the dried blood off her cheek and stared at the tom.

  • "My. . " Fernstep paused, a bit nervous. Did the she-cat knew he was lieing? He just decided to burst out something random. "My mate." He smiled a bit, and hurried past her. "Now, she'll probelly be worrying about me now, I better get going!"

  • Dustblaze was a bit iffy on this statement, but she forced her eyes to light up like the sun. "That's alright! Go on through. I'll tell the others not to attack," she squeaked.

  • Fernstep smiled as she had her gaze on her and nodded in thanks. "Great! I'll be happy to hear it." As he started to get out of sight, his smile faded and he puffed a silent sigh of relief.

  • The cinnamon and white she-cat stepped into the sunlight and froze in her tracks. "You," she whispered. Her heart began to thud. No. This was a dream. This wasn't happening.

  • Fernstep didn't notice the cinnamon she-cat, as she was hidden from his sight. Sniffing the air, he noticed a mouses movement and pounced quickly. Picking the mouse up when he had caught it, he just noticed the she-cat as he toke a step forward. "Oh, erm . .Is this what you where looking for?" Fernstep tryed to hide his embrassment to not notice her. Dropping the mouse silently, he stepped back in case he had to run. How could he lie to a she-cat like her? Shes so.. so..-- No! I cannot love this cat! Shes my enemy! My enemy! [i]What would my clan think? Oh, thats right. I have none. But, still..

  • Rarityheart was twitching, although it didn't show under her dense fur. "Uhhh... No... But thanks." She sunk her claws into the mouse and brought up her paw. She hadn't eaten like this before, but it made her seem neater. Odd, but neat. She nibbled at the mouse, before dropping it half-eaten on the grass. "Thanks... I never got to ask what your name was."z

  • Fernstep heistated, he awardly glanced up to her and spoke his name. "Fernstep." The tomcat said, sitting down awardly. Would she recoinize him? "I met one of your friends back there," He poked his head toward where he had last come from, but then anceinty crawled up his fur if she was going to ask how he knew this was thunderclans territory.

  • 'I err better get going." Fernstep starmmered, not know what to anymore. He was glad he was close to the Thunderclan border with Windclan, because then he could just follow the border and find somewhere to hunt, and sleep. But as he walked away, he found himself looking back halfway there. No! Mouse-brained, you'll get her suspicious. He argued with himself, and quickly looked back infront of him.

  • Fernstep curled up in some fresh moss he had gathered, and put his head onto his paws. "Dear Starclan no . . . I can't. Why am I thinking about her?" He couldn't stop thinking about Raityheart, it kept him from sleeping thourghout the night. Finally, near dawn he started to doze off.

[ Maybe Raityheart should find Fernstep here sleeping and get into a fight, but then at the end when there exchuasted they start to get along a bit? ]

  • OOC: good idea.
ic: Rarityheart stalked among the border, looking for a mouse. A familiar scent rushed to her nose, and she all of a sudden felt weak. "Fernstep," she hissed, trying to sound strong.

  • Fernstep was still sleeping, unaware of the danger he was in. He had gone hunting and caught two mice and rubbed in thunderclan scent so his store of fresh-kill he saved wouldn't share his scent, but he had aalready ate the two pieces earlier.

  • "What? Who?" Fernstep jumped, Thunderclan scent filling his nostrils. Blinking his eyes open hi fur bristled at the sight of Raityheart. "You!" He hissed, remembering his face-off with her in Shadowclan. Then, he noticed he was awake and sighed under his breath. Mouse-brain! Now I'm in big trouble for acting hostile! Now, I have no choice but to battle . . Dropping into a crouch, he waited for her reaction.
