Even though she was considered the sun princess, she still get's annoyed by early mornings. All the waking up was costly on the princess's body. But, she had a duty that could not wait for her to wake up. Most of the time, she would literally raise the sun while still in bed. Rarely would she actually do it in public.
With a simple golden trimmed flash of her white horn, the sky began lighting up as the sun was raised.
Once in it's position, Celestia smiled before resting her head onto her pillow.
"Oh, sweet pillow, how I have missed you..." Celestia murmured softly as she buried her muzzle deep into the cushioned bed.

The guard moved through the empty halls of the castle, a frown upon his face as he examined the crumbling walls. "It's a wonder the place is still standing" he said aloud. A moving shadow drew his attention. His heartbeat quickened as the unknown creature moved closer to him, the footsteps of some creature echoing off of the walls. The guard started running, but his world went black.

Appearance: A silver coated stallion with dark blue eyes. His mane is a dark grey in colour and he is usually seen in silver armour with golden accents and a gem in the shape of a shield on the helmet. His cutie mark is two swords in an X shape and a dark blue shield in front of them.
Special Talent: Defense related spells and physical combat.
Personality: He has a strong sense of duty and puts it above all else. Other than that, he is a closed character, rarely showing emotion unless it was about Somepony he had been around for a while.
History: He had been raised up in a family with a strong liking towards physical combat. His birth was strange, as he had two earth pony parents, and he was a unicorn, which was a very rare event and he does not speak of it. As he was growing up, he would get bullied a lot, and as such he refined his defences through magic. When he became an adult, he signed up for the guard and, after a lot of time, became captain of the guard.

The sudden shouting from the night princess startled the snow white coated Alicorn to the point of jumping from the comfort of her bed.
"Luna, please do not barge into my quarters like that!" The older sister scolded Luna with a narrowed glare. Now that she was awake, Celestia reluctantly rose to her hooves before trotting toward her dresser. With another flash of her horn, a small brush floated to her side and began combing through the bed-mangled hairs of Tia's mane.
Silver Blade walked up towards princess Celestia's quarter. "Good morning princesses" he said at the door "I presume you are well?". The guard was dressed in his usual uniform.
