    Sparkflame yawned, poking his head out of his den and nearly forgetting he was on a high surface. His claws scrabbled against the rock as he gripped the ledge, his eyes wide. He huffed, dashing down, only skidding to a halt once he reached the clearing. He shook his pelt, following the scent of the fresh kill pile.




    Flyingfeather was sleeping in the Combatant's den, next to his sister Graysplash. Their brother, Sparkflame, being the annoying one sometimes, would probably send lead them on dawn patrol.

    Wolfheart twitched his ears as he yawned waking up slowly. He gave a stretch of his body to fully awaken himself his muscles rippled and trembled under his pelt.


    Tinyclaw was still sleeping the small female was curled up in a tight ball. Her grey tail laid over her nose as she slept soundly.


    Softpetal was sitting in the camp her ears twitched and she looked around calmly a small smile was on her maw as she looked around.


    Hawkwing was resting in camp his ears twitched wondering what to do. He gave his chest a few licks to flatten the fur down.


    Leafpaw padded out of the apprentices den he looked around before going to get himself something to eat.


    Nightpaw peeked out of apprentices den.

    Firecloud yawned, curled around Redkit. The only queen looked around the empty nursery, wondering if anyone would come into the den.

    Lotuspaw padded over to the fresh-kill pile beside Leafpaw. Meowing a quick greeting, he grabbed a plump mouse and sat down near a rock.


    Thunderpaw yawned and bounded out of the apprentice den. She pawed at a leaf playfully before looking back at Nightpaw. "Hi Nightpaw!"

    "Lotuspaw, grab your mentor once your done, let her eat, then join Flyingfeather and I on a hunting patrol. Anyone else want to come?" Sparkflame asked, looking for his brother.




    Flyingfeather, the young warrior, had found another way down the mountain trails. He mischievously stripped the bark off a tree, smirking. He stepped on the board, sliding down the mountain. "Look out below! Sparkflame, move, MOVE!"




    Sparkflame jumped, avoiding the board, but not his brother. "I thought we agreed not to do that anymore." He said bluntly, getting out from under his brother.




    Flyingfeather shrugged, his amber eyes teasing.

    Sparkflame returned to the pile to grab a sparrow, sitting down and yawning. "You can all eat before we go." He murmured, amused at his brothers attempt to chew past the feathers on a thick feathered bird.




    Flyingfeather grunted, spitting out of mouthful of black feathers. "Where's the meat on this thing?" He complained, pulling out feathers with annoyance.

    Braveheart sat down in the camp clearing and looked around. His silver pelt shined in the sunlight as he took notice in a patrol. The handsome Greenscale got up and bounded after him. "I would also love to help." He said as he blinked his bright amber eyes a bit.

    "Thanks Braveheart. Go eat, we're leaving for the strip of forest by the river. Prey's bound to be enjoying the sun and water there." Sparkflame murmured, swiping his tongue over his muzzle.




    Flyingfeather coughed up a black feather, finally finding the meat on the bird. He ate the small bird, taking his feathers to line his nest. He came back, shaking his pelt and getting ready for a patrol.

    I just noticed all of Brightheart's son's have the end -heart, to their names. It's just in the Brightheart bloodline XD

    Flyingfeather and Sparkflame were ready, they were just waiting for the other cats to finish eating so they could go by the river to hunt.

    "You have a feather stuck on your forehead."Softpetal said to Flyingfeather as she walked past him a bit following the patrol. Her ears twitched as did her whiskers showing she was holding in a purr of amusement.


    Wolfheart twitched his ears and followed the patrol he yawned softly before continuing on. He walked carefully not wanting to make any sounds.

    "Huh. That's weird." Commented Flyingfeather, shaking his head to rid himself of the feather. It drifted by his mouth and he caught it, spitting it out.




    Sparkflame trekked to the river, catching the scent of running water. "Start splitting up, we're nearly there." He instructed, the trees in the surrounding area starting to thicken into a small stretch of forest.




    Graysplash nodded, and dashed ahead towards the river. She had been given the 'splash' part of her name for her fishing.




    Flyingfeather climbed a tree, using all of his skills to look for prey in the thick branched area.




    Sparkflame wasn't named for his hunting skills, but was quite skilled anyway. The tan tabby spotted tom scented the air, catching the scent of blackbird. He followed it, his eyes narrowed with his focus for the prey.

    Wolfheart padded off he was a rather skilled tom he was promoted to a green scale for no reason. He had trained and worked hard for his postion. He opened his maw and inhaled the scents around him then he spotted movement in a near by bush.


    Softpetal was light on her paws she rarely made a sound as she padded forward keeping out of the way of the others she slipped off into a different direction smelling some prey.
