Hi there. I'm planning on making a character based off of Tyrion of A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones. I know there's such a thing as a munchkin cat, but is there a mutation of something similar? I want his potential siblings and family to be full-sized, is the thing.

It's similar to other dominant mutations in the sense that any kids could get it since it, rather than a recessive one in which many mutations get lost. One parent, at least, must carry the gene since it's an aforementioned dominant gene and needs to minimally be heterozygous. With that being said, if one parent is and one is not, the chances will be slimmer but still prominent.

You said that you wanted the family to be full-sized, though, to acquire the naturally occurring achondroplasia (proper term I think), a parent must have it, one of their grandparents, and so on. (^:
