Grassclaw was about to pad after him, but the queens gathering around her blocked her, She sighed, and allowed the she cats to guide her back to the nursery. She didn't want Fangstrike to raise her and SPIRITCALL'S kits! It wasn't right. She tried her best not to let her emotions show.
"They're yours." (( Tom cat needed, PAFP! ))

Rainsplash and Spiritcall stayed away from camp all day. He nodded as he headed back into camp. He saw queens still talking about the exciting news. He sighed as he dropped his catches two birds and a rabbit. He sat down at the edge of the clearing and sighed a little as he rested his head a frown on his maw.
-
"Are you okay, Spiritcall?" A deep voice came from behind him. Fangstrike was there, looking at him with gentle green eyes. He sat next to him, the large tom having to look down a little to eye him face to face. "Is something on your mind?"
-
Spiritcall flicked his ear looking towards him for a moment shrugging a bit. "Yeah my sister close to birth I can't help but worry about her." He mewed motioning to the nursery. It was true his little sister was having kits when she barely knew the father and would have to raise them by herself.
-
He nodded in understanding. "I'm sorry; I'm sure she'll be fine." He said, smiling. Then he looked down. "This stinks. I wish Grassclaw wasn't pregnant..." He said, frowning.
-
He blinked a little seeming a bit surprised. Not wanting Grassclaw to be pregnant, he stretched a little wondering why. "Really?" He asked flicking his ears forward a little. It made him feel worse inside he didn't know the kits weren't his and now he didn't even seem to want to want the kits.
-
Fangstrike sighed heavily. "Our parents set us up, me and Grassclaw. I'm not even sure I love her. So how am I supposed to love the kits?" He wondered, his ears down. It was true. Grassclaw's dad, Wingedfur, and Fangstrike's dad, Spottedfang, set them up when they were apprentices. Neither of them ever really loved eachother, especially Fangstrike with Grassclaw. "She's no Honeyfern, you know?" He said, reffering to a pretty she cat in the clan.
-
He frowned nodding a bit. "I guess you have a valid point although you realize your full grown cats and can make your own chooses they can't control you forever." He said shrugging a bit. He was almost tempted to tell him the truth, but decided against it. He looked over towards Honeyfern. "Maybe you should ask her if she wants to go hunting."
-
He nodded. "Maybe. You know, Grassclaw can be bossy to. And rude. I don't know why my dad would set me up with such an awful she cat." He said, standing. "Well, thanks for the talk, Spiritcall. Maybe you should chat with Rainsplash." He said, shaking loose grass from his pelt.
-
He looked towards Rainsplash and nodded a bit shrugging. "Yeah she's many things." He mewed as he stood up stretching out. "You probably just need some time to think." He mewed as he smiled and nodded towards Rainsplash before heading off to the fresh kill pile.
-
Grassclaw cried on her sister, Hazeltail's, paw. Hazeltail had two newborn kits, Fernkit and Sunkit. Grassclaw trusted Hazeltail, so she told her the situation. "I promise I won't tell a soul." Hazeltail assured, resting her forehead on hers. "Grassclaw, I'm so sorry." She soothed, gently setting her paw on her back as she allowed her little sister to weep.
-
Spiritcall picked up two mice and heard into the Nursery seeing Hazeltail comforting Grassclaw. "Evening ladies." He said dropping the two mice smiling and swishing his tail a bit.
-
Hazeltail dipped her head in respect. Grassclaw waved her tail. "Hi." She said, her voice muffled.
-
He nodded and licked Grassclaw's ear affectionately. "Come on calm down you'll be okay." He reassured smiling as he swished his tail a little.
-
She frowned raising her head exposing her puffy eyes. "I-I-I hope so...." She stuttered. "H-hey... why don;t you go talk to Rainsplash? I bet she'd love to hunt with you..." She said quietly. She highly predicted that he'd rather be with a less complicated she cat than a hot mess like Grassclaw.
-
He shook his head and laid beside her nosing the mouse towards her. "No I want to stay here with you. You've always been the she-cat I wanted." He mewed sincerely and licked his chops and purred a bit as he nudged her softly.
-
She smiled lightly as she nosed part of the mouse towards him. "We'll share it." She smiled, then took a small bite. Hazelfur smiled, but then had to turn her attention to her kits, who were wanting to explore about.
-
He nodded as he took a smile bite stretching a bit. "You should just be honest he doesn't even want the kits." He mewed shaking his head. He had nothing against Fangstrike, still he wished that he would at least pretend he cared about the kits.
-
She frowned."I know... he loves Honeyfern anyway." She said. They've been lying to eachother during the many moons they've been together. It was obvious she knew that he loved Honeyfern.
-
He sighed his tail lashing a little out of habitat. He was getting a little angry at the fact they didn't love each other and yet he would have to meet her in secret not being able to be seen together. He shook his head a bit. "If this is a shared realization why don't you just end it and go with those you love?" He questioned flicking his ear.
