Jayden stepped along the cracked sidewalk, his light green colored eyes glaring at the ground as he made his way to school. 8:15 AM. Fifteen minutes late. Actually pretty early for him if you know him personally. He smirked, running his fingers through his silky hair as he glanced up from his little daydream to see his high school. His smirk instantly disappeared. Sighing, he continued to walk at a slow pace up to the school doors, already curious on what the teacher was going to say.
Jayden pushed his way through the glass doors, staring down the empty hallway as he listened to his foot steps echo. He made his way to his locker and snubbed everything that he didn't need for his first class inside. He really needed to organize his locker more: Looks like a bomb went off inside.
He sighed, shutting his locker and walking to his first class with Miss Knight. He had remembered how she reminded the class that a new student was arriving today. Oh this will be fun...He opened the door and froze when he noticed that she was literally introducing the new student. Great timing, idiot.. He thought to himself. His eyes widened and he slowly began to back away, closing the door but it only closed with an EXTREMEMLY loud creek noise. He heard some people giggling the room and he probably would have been laughing himself if it were someone else other than him.
Jayden grimaced when he heard the teachers voice, still holding onto the door knob as he stood in the hallway. He slowly peeked around and gave her a blank expression when she heard her call him by his last name. People giggled when she said it. His name sounded a lot fancier than what he was actually like which was why he didn't like it. People just laughed at him for it.. "Please don't call me that..." He murmured as he looked at her annoyed, walking over to his seat which was close to the window. Really being the only reason why he liked this classroom. He stared up at the new student curiously, crossing his arms as he looked them over.
Jayden listened attentively to the newbie, smirking as he heard him talk. This was going to be really interesting...He didn't seem too bad, definitely nothing compared to Jayden. He looked at them in the eyes, believing that you could learn a lot about someone just by there eyes. He used it against other people to freak them out which was always an enjoyable thing to watch.
Jayden quickly began to doze off, rocking his feet back and forth underneath his desk tiredly. He was always up so late no matter what day it was..Suddenly snapping out of his sudden haze, he glanced up at the teacher with a ticked off glare when she said his last name again, other students smirking and giggling to themselves. Hearing her request, Jayden glanced around the room confused on why the heck she would pick him out of everyone. "Really? You sure you don't want someone else to do that?" He asked her, raising an eyebrow as he awaited an answer.
Jayden's eyebrows narrowed and he grew an even angrier expression when he heard her response. Geez, you fall asleep a couple of times, you blame him for life! He glanced around, noticing some people who were struggling to not laugh at his last name. He let out a sigh, raising his arms up as he just instantly gave up, "Alright! Alright! I'll do it just stop calling me that!" He replied sharply, his deep red colored bangs covering his eyes as he looked down humiliated.
Jayden bit the corners of his lips, shaking his head as he stood up out of his chair. He heard one of the students behind him whisper his last name, struggling to not turn around and punch them in the face. He walked down the row and walked up to Matthew, smirking as he got a better look at him. "Alright, let's get going..." He said, gesturing his head over to the door before beginning to walk out, not even checking if he was following. He was just happy to get out of the classroom.
Jayden glanced behind him when he heard Matthew speak, snickering when he heard how much he was stuttering. He glanced back ahead, stuffing his hands into his pockets, "Main classrooms." He replied, meaning the basic classes like math, English, and science. "What's your schedule like?" He asked curiously, looking over his shoulder at him.
Jayden reached a hand back and grabbed his schedule, looking over it closely. Both him and Matthew had almost every class together! "Okay so the main math, science, and English rooms are all in this hallway." He said, gesturing up and down the hallway they were in. He glanced back down at the schedule before looking forward again, "Your second and third class should be down here.." He said as he began to walk ahead. He smirked when he heard how he was stuttering again, raising an eyebrow, "Nervous are we?" He teased playfully, looking over at him with a now more playful look in his eyes.
