  • IC: Sunset watched the cats, before snapping her attention to Aermind. "So, what do we learn today?" She was trying her best to keep calm, and not bounce off the walls again.

OOC: Sorry, I was shopping for back to school.

  • [OOC]
I like it... the font seems a little too plain though dont you think?
    [IC]
Aermind watched his student go through her excitement with a hint of amusement. This was exactly the kind of student he needed. "Well dear Sunset I'm thinking we are going to need to restock the herb supply because we are getting low on some important ones. I think it's time to test your nose and see how well your eye sight is." he purred, swishing his tail to indicate to follow him.

Nia popped up behind her mentor and poked him with her paw. "That bird looked really tasty so don't sweat it." she mewed, looking up at the sky hoping to spot it again. Shrugging she shook out her spotted pelt and looked at Talmin. "Lead on." She mewed.

Roan watched the patrol leave and he flexed his claws. He was itching to do something and he looked over at the Queen and King sharing a private conversation. Obviously now wasn't the time to intrude. He sighed, looking around aimlessly. He eyed a nice looking mouse on the freshkill pile and licked his muzzle. He hadn't ate since yesterday morning so he grabbed it and found a nice dark place to eat... the only thing you could see were his glowing yellow eyes.

  • IC: "Really? Yay! We don't go out of the cave often!" The orange tabby began to leap after him, her pelt rippling. The bramble green glow was beginning to fade a little from the light the grass produced.

OOC: Hmm, I'm going to try a different font.

  • Ail looked horrified at his student's words, his body growing rigid as he lowered his head and eyes to the ground, his tail curling slowly, he couldn't eat something so pure, so innocent... Giving his head a shake he rose his head to be level with hers, a sudden protectiveness over the bird shining in his eyes.
"I could never eat something so special.."
There was something in his eyes that proved it was more than just because it was beautiful. Backing up a bit he looked at Talmin, did the tom think he was crazy for saying so? He looked away, and just waited for the tom to lead the way once more, his eyes watery.

Aeron left her mate's side and wandered over to her den, she was appearing rather plump than usual, but she had been eating a fair amount the last few days. Lowering herself down cautiously she began to lap at her fur, some places drying uncomfortably because of the water. She also enjoyed doing this as she sat in the sunlight. Her eyes closed as she savored the moment; figuring it wouldn't last for very long. She spotted Roan in the darkness and tilted her head curiously, wondering what the tom was up to, but she didn't bother asking. The look in her eyes was question enough.

  • Talmin looked at Nia, then at Ail, that was a strange thing to say, but he didn't seem to have any disdain for him saying so. "Hm, I see, like if someone sees a beautiful flower. You wouldn't want to pick it would you? That would ruin it. Not too odd to think like that I suppose." he mewed, before looking at the apprentice. "Well then, come along, and be careful, I do hate back-tracking, and just the thought of doing it more than once in a day makes me sick." Talmin mewed, flicking his tail quickly before trotting back along the way he had came, pausing to make sure that the two were coming with him this time. He didn't want to grow bored after all, boredom being the most torturous of punishments, something that Talmin would do anything, and everything, to avoid, even 'jumping off the edge' per say. The idea didn't feel nice on his mind, he hated the ideal in fact, if he was to do that what was the possibility he may cross the line? Very high. The cat of black shook himself, to remove the awful thoughts from his overly active mind, and he caused him to grow slightly dizzy and scattered for a second, but Talmin quickly recovered, and began to pad along the path once more, he needed to get back to Knighten soon, if he was left without someone's better judgment for too long who knew what kind of trouble he would get himself into.

  • IC: Revenant sighed as he tried yet again to pull his paw out of the mouse hole. How did I get here again? He thought to himself, Oh yeah, stupid mousebrain scampers down there and I make the mistake of sticking my paw in. He tries yet again to pull his paw out, and suddenly the tortie tabby tom dislodges his paw, going flying. He grunted as he landed on his half black half red tabby face, blinking the sand out of his mismatched eyes. I wonder how Sunset is doing, my little sister...

The orange tabby called Sunset he had been thinking about was happy, but wonder was buried within. Is it possible Revenant could have survived? He would be maimed though, if he did survive the fall, or maybe not? Suddenly the little she just blurted it out. "Aermind, is it possible that Revenant could have survived? I know it's a silly question but... never mind."

OOC: Sorry, I forgot to mention in Revenant's bio that he is blinded in his right eye because of the fall, so his left eye is the one that mainly glows in the dark.

    I think I know what the Queen was whispering to her mate about c;
    [IC]
Nia looked at her mentor but followed Talmin. A faint breeze ruffled her short fur and she let out a purr. The sun was gently shining down on the cats, and as she looked around she noticed that nature seemed a bit more alive today. Gazing at Talmin she watched the light reflect off his dark fur and she sighed. Seemingly at peace, she looked back to see if her mentor was following.

Roan studied the Queen, noticing her slight difference in appearance but decided to shrug it off. If it was what he thought it was then he would wait to see if he was right. He took another bite from the tender mouse, licking his muzzle clean and looked around for anyone else.

Aermind chuckled, padding easily out of the cave they called home. He took a deep breath, his eyes alive with content. "Smell that? Today is absolutely beautiful!" he mewed, heading off toward the river. As he walked he smelt the scent of the patrol that had just left and ignored it. He kept sniffing the air and then stopped. He sat down and eyed his student as he heard her question. "It is possible Sunset though I wouldn't be able to tell you if he is. Why not pray to one of the Celtic gods? Ask for a sign or something?" he suggested, watching her.

  • IC: "Hmm, alright! Thanks for the advice Aermind!" The orange tabby looked hopeful, and determined at the same time. Who should I pray to? What should I say? It's so hard to think of these things!

    OOC:

  • OOC - Shhhh xD Also.. I know I really only wanted 2 cats per people but I may just change it to three because I really want to make another cat or else my post won't work xDD

    IC -

Ail was moving slowly, but he was following, his eyes shrouded in emotion. Giving his head a brisk shake he hurried to catch up, his fur bristling a bit as a scent hit his nose. He didn't know what this scent was, but it didn't... smell right. "Do you two smell it too..?" He asked, his voice quiet as if someone else may over hear them.
The small tom gave a yelp as he was tackled to the side, a tall figure looming over him as a paw rested on his cheek and squished his head into the ground several times, his eyes blinking as he tried to figure out who the figure was.
    "Long time no see!"

  • [OC]
Oh... .-. I made three I didn't know you only wanted two per person but okie dokie
    [IC]
Being lost in thought Nia didn't give much notice to her mentors question. She sighed when all of a sudden she heard Ail yelp and a strange voice. Rouges! she thought. Unsheathing her claws she spun around with a growl. Her ears pinned to her head she hissed at the unfamiliar stranger.

Aermind nodded and poked her with his paw. "Now enough of that. Right now I'm going to test your nose." he mewed, and took a deep breath. "There are herbs for wounds, diseases, and there are poisons that could be mistaken for herbs. It's my duty to teach you what is for what. You can pick what herbs you want to search for first."

  • OOC - I know.. but I was nice and accepted you anyways cx

    IC -

Ail squirmed under the black cat's strong legs, before the she-cat snickered and stepped off. Ail glared at her but he slowly relaxed when he saw who it was. "It's alright, Nia.." He said quietly, his ears going back against his head. "It's just Drust." He added, moving back towards Talmin. "We have to go, Drust.. We can't stay. The others they're... they're still waiting.." He murmured, hoping she'd get the hint that she wouldn't exactly be welcomed with open arms.

Drust gave a face, her tail flicking and lightly hitting the Student's nose. "I want to join, idiot." She scoffed, making Ail glare. "You're too cute for me, Ail. Stop making that face," She admitted, before looking at Talmin and tilted her head. "Who is this? Your lover?" She asked.
    "H-He is not!"
Snickering at Ail's response she watched Talmin with great interest. Her long legs making her taller than some but not all. His pelt was black as well. And what was that saying? Birds of a feather, flock together..? Or, was it in this case; Cats of colour, stick with one another? She had no idea, but she'd definitely have fun testing everyone's stressing point, but the smirk left her face seeing the look she was recieving from Ail. "What?"

  • sorry for inactivity today... havnt had much time online. recap please?

  • Visions padded towards their den, paws padding over the stone of the caves. His thoughts wandered. He couldn't believe that he was going to be a father. he vowed to himself that he would always make tome for them and teach them as well as could. His paws tingled in anticipation of the day they were born.
He made his way into the den and lay down beside Aeron pressing into her with loud purr. He drew his tongue over her forehead lovingly. "i can't wait to be father to our kits" he murmured softly in her ear

  • -OOC-
Unfortunately... I have to leave early.. I'm sorry everyone :s Just pause the roleplay now or only post one more response tonight, sorry! -All of you are on literately evening times for me xD-

  • Nia settled down... but only slightly. She didn't like the look of this cat, and didn't care if her mentor knew her. She rolled her eyes, deciding it wasn't her problem and trotted after Talmin. As she walked next to the cat, still just as tense she brooded silently.

  • (nah iwas about to come and say i have to go to it's... nearly 1 am here.

  • (I'll just do a quick one response to the new cat Drust. Then be off, I don't wake up as early as you guys do. >^<)

The tall black cat had been very aggressive when the cat first appeared but now he had a look of mild interest on his features. Very mild. Talmin's inner hunter still wanted to attack the other black cat, but he didn't. There was a strange glimmer in his green eyes now, not just interest, but a form of hidden danger. He got that way sometimes, but he quickly snapped out of it when his younger brother came rushing up behind him, tripping over himself, and landing in a fluffy mess next to Talmin. "T-talmin I smelled something-" he stopped when he got up seeing the other black cat, and looking at his brother. "Don't worry Knighten, this cat knows Ail." he mewed, seeing his smaller sibling fluff up and bare his teeth for a moment, before slowly flattening out his fur. "OH, that's no fun." the brown Siamese muttered, flattening his ears at this. Talmin dipped his head to the she-cat, a sharp smile on his features, oh, how he wondered who this cat might be, what role she might play. This was quite interesting indeed. He no longer would have to worry about being bored.... at least not for a little bit. His dull green eyes sparked sharply, before he quickly began to scan the area, just to keep the others, mainly Knighten, from noticing how his eyes gleamed at this, only because only the brown cat would understand him doing this, and he wouldn't like it.

  • IC: "Could we try feverfew and lavender?" The she wasn't used to the scents of outside the cave, and wanted to try with something relatively easy. Feverfew is tangy, and lavender is you know, lavender. You can find those Sunset.

OOC: Sorry, I am running a few dungeons in FFXIV.

  • Ail's ears went back against his head, watching Drust as she tilted her head at Talmin. He backed up slightly, standing next to his Student and watching her carefully. "She couldn't hurt anyone. Except maybe me," He said quietly, with a tiny laugh afterwards, though his eyes shone with worry. How would Aeron react when he brought a stranger back? Especially when that stranger would be a pain in the butt for everyone there?
"Drust I really... are you sure you want to join..?" He asked her carefully.

Drust's ear twitched, having seem the gleam in Talmin's eyes and she allowed a smile to cross her black face, a pink tongue slipping from her jaws to run over her teeth. "I like your friends already, Ail," She snickered, but blinking hearing his question. "Why wouldn't I be sure? It's taken me this long to find you... I'm not turning around and heading back now."
    "So, where to?"
She asked Talmin and the other cat she figured was her look-a-like's brother. This surely was going to be interesting. Looking at Ail she saw worry, and her eyes softened a little but she didn't say anything, her feet just itching to begin moving once more.

Aeron purred in response to his excited words. "I can't wait to be a mother, either." She said softly to the tom, drawing a long lick over his cheek before she rested her head atop her paws, her whiskers twitching absentmindedly as she went deep in thought about not only the kits, but of their group. Maybe she should begin scheduling events to get everyone out of the Cave every now and then? Some of the cats she could tell had begun to get restless; wanting to get up and see the world they were born into. Giving a soft sigh she rose to her feet, watching with proud eyes as she sat, looking at those still in base, and giving each a thoughtful look.
