  • (I like that recap, tis nice. >^<)

The cat of black fur winced when the smaller wet tom stumbled, and bumped into him, slightly slicking down his own thick black pelt with the excess of water that the smaller cat had on his pelt. Talmin made a strange expression at the small cat, Ail, before he made a sound of amusement, and laughed to himself. Before he stifled his laugh, forcing himself to be more professional, as he normally was. Though he still had the spark of amusement at the clumsy cat. "I'm sure the rest of today will go swimmingly." Talmin teased, flicking his tail-tip, and shaking his own pelt shortly, which succeeded in getting his slightly wet fur to lie with the rest of his well-groomed pelt. Like normal the black cat didn't have to do anything to make his pelt lay flat, just shake himself, and leave it be.

  • Eris let out a light chuckle at Talmin's comment. "Isn't this a wonderful way to start the day?" She smirked, wrapped her paws with her long tail. These cats really do know how to start a day. Shaking her head, the green-eyed she-cat settled on a rock farther away from the pool, not wanting be wet.

    Well that sucked. :/
I had no clue what to write as my first post. (Actually second post).

[justify][color=black][font=courier]Ches chuckled at the small group of soak cats. She herself had escaped with only a few splatters of cold water, but it still irritated her. Cheshire padded towards the fresh corpses, picking a malnourished rat for a breakfast. Once more, the silvery she-cat stood at a ridged attention. But this time, droplets of blood stained her muzzle, giving her a much more psychotic look to her already deceiving appearance.

  • [OOC]
Awwe :c I was so busy making random banners and now people are going to bed >.< Oh well...
    [IC]
The small white and black Medic awoke with a stretch, his back arching into a small curve. A small green glow came from his eyes as he looked around, seeing his Trainee and friends laughing at the pool. He laughed, padding up to Ail and flicking his nose with his tail. Aermind looked around at everyone else and smiled. "Good morning!" He mewed, taking a few sips from the pool of water.

Roan bounded into the cave, a sheen of dew on his fur. He stopped next to the Queen and King, shaking out his fur without a sound. Every morning he woke up early and went for a leisurely run, carefully not waking anyone up as he left. Nodding at the King and Queen, he lapped at the pool of water and began to groom himself.

A dim grey pair of eyes opened, and the ears belonging to the cat swiveled, listening to the conversation near the drinking pool. Nia stood and yawned silently before padding up to her wet mentor and she gave his head a few licks to dry it a little bit. "Good morning Ail..." she purred, amused. Though he was her mentor, sometimes she felt like she was teaching him how to be more comfortable around people. She cared for her mentor deeply like an older brother.

  • IC: Sunset smiled at Aermind, glad her mentor was up. "Hello, what are we learning today? Maybe traveling herbs? Wait, we never use them... herbs for fever? Birthing? There's so much to learn! Oh! I could redo the nests! Wait, we're out of moss and I don't know where to find it. Wow, I could learn how to collect it or.." The small orange tabby was bouncing on her paws, rambling on about what they could do, before realizing she must be annoying everyone. She sat down quickly, and bowed her head. "Sorry."

    OOC:

  • The cat of black fur, and bright green olive eyes looked at the medic apprentice in an amused way as she listed the things to learn that day, she seemed mildly excited for whatever her mentor had to teach her today. Talmin tilted his head to the side when she apologized, why should she apologize for being excited about something? He wanted to tell her that she shouldn't be sorry, and that the display had been adorable, but he reframed, it would probably embarrass the she-cat. The black cat shuffled his paws, he still had trouble working with these cats. In the group he was from he had talked normally for them. But here most cats always assumed he was teasing them, or being flirty, or something of the sort. Talmin flicked his tail, before quickly weaseling his way out of the large group of gathering cats, suddenly feeling like there were a few too many pair of eyes, and quickly slipping back over to his brother, who had been savoring the flavor of a mouse. "By the dark lord, Talmin, what were you doing?" Knighten asked him shortly, making a face at him. "Conversing. It's fun to talk to others sometimes. Don't you think, little brother?" he replied, able to talk like normal again, and quickly slipping down to the smaller cats side, content. "No, I honestly prefer not to interact with these cats. " Talmin didn't understand his younger sibling, but didn't pester him, simply shrugged, and let Knighten tell him about the 'perfect dream' that he had so rudely woke the small cat from.

  • IC: Sunset watched the black tom, wondering why he had gone. She quickly averted her gaze though, assuming the green eyes tom had left because he was uncomfortable. She looked at the pool, finding the cool air too warm, due to her preference for cold air. The orange and white tabby knew the pool would cool her down, and it felt so nice, until she got out and felt the water dripping, then it was uncomfortable. Why do I hate being wet yet love swimming? It's weird.

    OOC:

  • Aeron continued to smile, a certain gleam to her eyes as she watched all of the cats. Rising to her feet once more, she allowed another yawn before shaking her pelt out, clearing most of the water. Padding over to Talmin and Knighten.
    "Hello you two,"
Her voice was soft, warm and rather welcoming. Her eyes curious as she watched the two, her fur almost completely dry from just that one simple shake. She didn't have much fur on her anyways, not as much as Ail.
"Why don't you two go on a patrol with Ail and Nia on a patrol?"
She offered, her head tilting to the side. She would have gone herself, but she had to talk to Visions about something too important to have it wait until later. Her eyes glowing softly.

Ail's head lowered as well as his ears, and even moreso when Nia came over and licked his head, his cheeks still hot it only embarrassed him even more. He was supposed to the adult here, yet he was being treated like a kit. Then again.. He shook his head a bit, and lifted his head only a little bit upon hearing his name come from Aeron's mouth. The word patrol hit him like a gust of wind and he tensed a bit. He didn't like traveling in large patrols... it always made him feel awkward.. And he was going to show Nia around and may teach her some fighting moves but.. He wasn't exactly the best fighting opponent.
"Maybe Nia could fight one for them for training..?"
He thought aloud without even knowing he did so, his paws shuffling in the puddle of now mud, his fur still a mess.

[justify][color=black][font=courier]Ches lifted her head, having licked the blood from her fur. Her ears were erect, wondering what the queen was talking about. She swaggered the few feet towards the growing group, her teal eyes glowing fiercely in the darkness. [color=teal]“I wouldn't mind taking your place, Ail.”
Cheshire meowed, seeing the discomfort that had made a home on his face as soon as the Misses announced the patrol.

  • Knighten looked up at the queen she, before dipping his head low when he saw Talmin do so. "Go on a patrol? That sounds like fun. What do you think Talmin?" he mewed looking over at his older sibling, who smiled and nodded. "Better than pacing." he agreed, the small tom nodded before looking back at the queen, Aeron. "We would love to go." Knighten mewed, slowly getting to his paws, and stretching out each of his long limbs, despite him still being his meager size. The brown Siamese didn't mind the fact that Ail didn't really want to go, or that Ches wanted to go in his place, nor did he really pay attention to the words the other small cat said, but it seemed that his older brother had. 'that's just like Talmin' he thought with a huffing sound.
    -

The cat of black, and green eyes added over to the smaller cat, that was still quite wet. "Hm? You were going to train Nia in fighting today? I'm sure Knighten would love to help with that." Talmin said in a soft tone, but he was also being fairly friendly. Not in an pushy way though, he didn't want to make the cat think he had to go with them. "But you don't have to come if you don't feel comfortable doing so." the black cat added. Being a berserker he, himself, wasn't comfortable with fighting with anyone else that was part of the group. For personal reasons. Stretching out for a second the tom of black quickly went back over to join his brother, Knighten, not with quickly dipping his head, and settling down. Talmin was more than just itching to get to doing something, and he found it hard not to start pacing once more. How else was he going to keep himself occupied other than always moving anyway.

[justify][color=black][font=courier]The tiny female seemed like she was about to burst. She hadn't left the cave since god knows when, and couldn't wait to go outside - to see the world for what it really was. Not a big dark hole, but a wide blue ocean in the sky, dotted with pale fish that glimmered best in the evening. That was when childish eagerness set in, and she turned to the brothers, [color=teal]“Can we go now?”
She meowed, grinning like an idiot - though she hoped they couldn't tell.

  • Aeron's ear twitched, upon hearing Cheshire and turned her head, looking in her direction. "You can go along with them if you'd wish, but I want Ail to go so he learns to trust everyone and be like his normal self," She said softly.
Moving to the side she padded back towards her mate, giving Ail a motherly lick on the ear making him shy away slightly but settled back next to Visions and lowered her head close to his, beginning to whisper something into his ears as her tail curled around her paws. A dim smile on her face as she told the tom, wondering how he'd react hearing the news.

Ail's ears went back, but he nodded a bit hearing the Queen's words. So he didn't really have a choice.. But.. he shouldn't mind, right? And she was right.. He had to get over his uncomfortableness. Rising to his paws he walked over to the three cats, his eyes averting their gazes and landing on the ground, pausing as he waited for Nia to run over to join them at his side.
"Er... Knighten... would you... mind if you just helped me trained Nia..? Just for today..?"
His voice was quiet as he looked up at the tom, his eyes pleading, but also a little worried he'd say no. He couldn't teach her to fight, and he was a mercenary. He didn't know why Aeron kept him around.
"I'm not... the best to be teaching her fighting techniques.."
He added, his voice barely above a whisper this time. He was about the same height at the she-cat, and it made Knighten and Talmin feel like giants compared to him, but.. he liked both toms, maybe Talmin more so.. Both of them were really nice to him so far.. Same with everyone else. Giving his head a shake he lifted it a bit and tilted it to the side.
    "So.. what do you say..?"

  • The small tom tilted his head to the side, before letting a smile cross his features. "Sure!" he exclaimed before pausing, and looking at Talmin. "But, erm, which set do I teach her?" he asked his older sibling, who gave him a sharp look that made Knighten recoil slightly. "Right, okay, normal set it is." he agreed quickly, the last thing he wanted was to anger his older brother. Despite the fact that the small brown tom was the one that got mad easy, Talmin was the one to watch out for when he got that way, so Knighten was careful of what he said. "Well, Ail, come on, we shall go and have a nice leisurely stroll around the border, and if it's not so calm, then we can take care of it." the small tom mewed, getting a nod of agreement from the bigger cat of black at his side.
    -

The cat of black, and shadows stretched out each of his long limbs, flicking his ears before looking around at the others. "Are we all good now? Cause I think I agree with Ches, I'm starting to grow rather bored just standing here." Talmin mewed closing an bright olive green eye as he said this, he didn't mean to sound like he was rushing the other three cats, boredom was not a good thing for the cat that lived for amusement, and entertainment. Talmin huffed beginning to pace, much like a trapped panther would. Knighten nodded quickly. "Yes, time to go back into the light." he mewed, looking at the small cat Ail, Talmin was quick to leave the darkness of the cave, stretching in the sunlight that simply made his pelt look darker in comparison. The warmth was extreme, and he preferred it to be cold.

[justify][color=black][font=courier]Cheshire hurried after the tomcat, bursting into the pale morning light. It took her a while to gain her sight back, since she had been temporarily blinded by the sudden brightness. Her grin never faltered, and her odd eyes followed the path of a few birds, then looked at the one called Talmin, wondering where they were going to go first. Ches was obviously glad to be in the warmer world, despite the pain the sun caused her eyes, still feeling a tad bit dizzy from the shift.

    //Sorry, low muse.

  • Cautiously Ail lifted his paw, slowly setting himself in motion. He followed half behind, half beside Knighten, his head still low as he tried to keep up. His eyes staring at the ground again as he walked. Pausing hesitantly at the entrance of the cave he cringed, sunlight piercing through the darkness and hitting his eyes, rendering him blind for a few moments before he continued forward. Their territory was most of the cave, only patrols who checked the area outside every left the cave, for prey ran fresh constantly within the cave.
His ears twitched hearing bird song though, the voice of a bird he hadn't heard before, and a small smile came to his face, enjoying it's lively tune as his eyes tried to search for where the noise came from, upon spotting it he went over to the tree the bird was in and looked up, trying to spot it. Such a nice, calming sound... He thought to himself, his pupils round and the rest of him appearing relaxed.

  • The tom of black was kept one of his eyes closed for a few moments, to adjust to the light of the sun, blinking slowly, he glanced at his younger brother, who didn't adjust to the light nearly as fast as everyone else seemed to have. Talmin lifted his face toward the sky, this was the one bad thing about him having forbidden the smaller brown cat to make them move anymore, he didn't see the sky as much as he would have liked. Though Knighten seemed okay with the darkness of the cave on most days. The black cat closed his eyes calmly, reviling in the sounds, and feelings of the upper world, while he let the others do the same. It was Knighten bumping into him that broke him from this calm, they did need to get moving soon. "Come along, we will see plenty of this warm dimension as we patrol." he mewed in a calm tone, despite it's more dominate undertone. Talmin lightly began the journey to the more east ward border, though he was walking slow, and taking his time so that the smaller cats could keep up with him easier.
    -

The cat of brown slowly followed his darker sibling, having to trot to keep up with the larger cat, even as he walked calmly. "Do you think we'll see anything exciting today?" Knighten asked his brother. "Hopefully so. That would be amusing don't you think?" the cat of brown could tell that Talmin was holding his tongue on something, of course he was, he didn't want to scare anyone did he? The small cat still didn't understand why his brother in black cared if he scared anyone, Knighten sure didn't care, but he supposed that Talmin was more intelligent in that way. And more intimidating in some ways too.

  • Ail turned, and found himself alone when he came back to earth. His ears went flat against his head, he couldn't even see his Student. "H-Hello?!" He said some-what loudly, his eyes wide and fur bristling. Hurrying in the direction he was facing he hoped to run into them again, but only found himself even more lost. He didn't know this forest, no... He became a Mercenary in winter... None of this looked familiar.
"Anyone?!" He yowled a bit louder, struggling to climb up a tree. His sense of smell was being ruined by the smell of many strongly scented plants that irritated his nose. "No no... I knew I shouldn't have come...!" Peeking his head out of the branches he tried to spot them, but couldn't see their shapes between the spaces where no leaves had grown, he couldn't even see the cave to run back to.

  • The cat of black paused, counting quickly before he let out a sharp sighing sound. "Stay." he mewed, mainly to Knighten who frowned at him for saying this. Talmin quickly trotted back along the path, which wasn't too hard for him to go along sense he had a great sense of smell. Pausing, he knew this is where they started, which meant Ail had deemed it a good idea to wander off. The cat of black sniffed the air, keenly, straining his sense of smell a little before he began to follow the scent of the smaller cat, he didn't know how far the cat was, or how far he would have decided to go, but to say the least Talmin didn't like this situation one bit. Pausing, he could swear the scent was stronger here. "Ail, where did you hide yourself?" he mewed shortly, in his normal, slightly loud voice. As mainly to not sneak up, and scare the smaller, more jumpy nervous cat.

  • Ail jumped, causing a few sticks to fall, but hurried down the tree and ran over to the tom quickly, pressing his nose to his before backing up quickly, blinking. "S-Sorry.." He apologized. He had just been happy that someone had noticed he disappeared. "I didn't meant to get separated I just... I saw this bird and I... I got distracted.." he lowered his head, just waiting to be scolded then led to the rest of the group. He was no better than a kit, at least not in this vast forest, his paws shuffling through the dirt and grass. He didn't know if it was the sun, but he felt hot.
