    Beautifulcub had just woken from her nap, her emerald eyes sleep-blurred and relaxed. Opening her mouth in a large yawn that showed her rows of pearly-white teeth, Beau got to her paws. Trotting out into the camp, she started to munch on a large mouse. The sound of her chewing bones was loud, probably disturbing a bunch of clanmates.

    Great, just what she needed. Vani had been trying to drift into a light slumber until she heard the sounds of bones being gnawed on. But when she realised that is was just Beautifulcub, she padded over to the lioness and smiled. "Heya Beau, how are you?"

    Swallowing her mouthful, she nodded at Vanillapaw. "Hey, Vani! I'm good. What about you?" the cub said calmly, licking the remainder of the mouse's taste off her muzzle.

    "Hectic? In what way?" she asked curiously. "I mean, I know about the promotions and body changing and stuff, but that doesn't seem so bad."

    Sighing, the deputy buried her head in her paws. For her age, she had seen way to much already. "There have been many raids, deaths and battles, causing not just our clan, but all of the clans to be plunged into danger. Darkclan had declared war with almost all of the clans, and had begun raiding and attacking almost all territories except Bloodclan and a few others - they even set a fire bomb on our territory a while back. And it's gotten to the point where me and Mosaicstar organised a meeting to plot revenge on Darkclan - we're even technically allied with the Insignia now."

    Giving a cold smile, she locked her gaze on Vani's shoulders. Then she darted forward. Vanillapaw would most likely duck down, and the force of her actually aiming for her paws would bowl over the deputy. If the cat knew what she was doing, and jumped up, and then she would dart under her.

    But instead, Vanillapaw just stood there, and let the attack hit her. Why? Because he was wondering how muh force the cub could put into her attack. Who knew, maybe she could grow up to be a paladin, or a ead of the infantry, or maybe even something more than that.


    Smiling Vani held up a paw, as if to say enough, though a broad smile was still hung upon her maw. "Wow, you're really good Beau!"

    Raising a non-existent eyebrow, she allowed a cocky look to surface in her face. "You gotta be kidding me. Are those mermaids I see out there?" she said sarcastically, staring over to her left side.
